I bought these for myself today, and these weren’t that good out of the box. Then after watching this video and doing the steps he said, these are now my favorite headsets. I can hear footsteps, know where the enemy is and everything. Then the Bluetooth feature is cool too! Only issue is, if ur iPhone Bluetooth is on and ur Xbox1 is on at the same time, ur headset will connect to both for some reason and u will hear 2 different things at once. Other than that, these are worth $130.
Tyreke Hetzel my friend has it but battery life is only 5 hrs he has to always charge It. Anyone else with same problems ?
It's supposed to be upwards of 10 hours. I have the 520s, which have up to 15 hours (which is great), so it's weird a newer higher end version has worse battery life.

Wait I bought these and I need to keep the USB in there when I take it out the head set disconnects, and the USB gets hot anyone know what to do?

I had the 600s for a few months then got these after about 6 months I'm selling these the main reason is comfort and the next is battery life I get about 10 hours or less and that's without super human hearing on and no noise cancellation so that's like the battery saver mode 10hours and about 3 or more times an hour the headset audio or mic would cut out randomly for 5 to 10 seconds at a time and it feels so slow usually takes me about 30 seconds to turn on the headset
But something I loved was sound quality these sound amazing
The mic was also good and the flip to mute feature is so nice
So if you play more than about 6 hours a day do not buy or if you dont want your ears (especially right one) to hurt after hours of gaming
This headset costs around 150 dollars but I saw it on Amazon from Turtle Beach for 108!
Good thing amazon has everything from a to z and its normally a good deal...look on google it still retails for 140 all day
dxtortion I bought a refurbished pair for 90 and it works like new.
I’m a streamer. I use these to game with all the time. The reason you can’t control the volume on the Bluetooth is so you can adjust the stream volume via your software. If I like the game music low and the voice loud that’s not what I want my stream to sound like. If it was all together it would be a mess.
I purchased a pair and I can't hear my voice through the headphones. Am I doing something wrong???

I’m watching and listening to this video with the Stealth 700’s. Had these for a year and the volume controls on the headset started to act up, which might be the first sign of it dying. The sound is still great and I still use them to listen to music or watch videos

Yep. The range is garbage, it can barely go outside of my room.
The headphone cable is not there so they are able to price them just a little bit lower, and the 3,5mm jack is not something you should rely on. This headset is probably the best for ps4, but it’s not recommended for pc or switch.
Is it okay to use distilled vinegar to clean the headset? Or will it destroy the fake leather?
Use non flammable alcohol. It works best.

I have the regular ps4, can someone explain what the deal with the fiber optic cable is?
Same as all the previous base stations from them for ps3/4. Fiber optic audio out from the console or TV to the base transmitter.
Even if the console has no optical out can still use the TV optical jack since the audio comes through HDMI to the tv. All TVs have came with optical since HD TVs became mainstream.
It’s better in some aspects connecting to the TV optical jack anyways since you can use the headset for any content playing on screen and not just the console.
@@Alex-us2vw I don 't think that will work this way because you wouldn't be able to use the Mic on the headset? Correct me if I am wrong. Would be great to use the optical out of the TV and be able to use the headset on all my gaming consoles!
NiekkieNick the mic doesn’t go through the optical cable just the content sound. The optical is a one way feed sending the audio signal to the sound system or headset base station, there is no data feed that returns to the gaming console through optical.
The mic is separate, works different on various consoles but it will either be wirelessly connected (wifi/Bluetooth) or through the controller with a talkback cable (Dualshock4/XB360) before being sent wirelessly back to the console.
What if i lost bluetooth receiver. Can i still use them with ps4 using 3.5 mm jack? If yes, what about sound quality and 7.1 surround sound?

When i first got my Stealth 700's all the way to now (which was about 2 months), they only have about 4hrs of battery life...should i just use the warranty and get another pair? Idk if that's normal cause i heard you say that should have at least 10hrs
you should update your firmware see if that works mines gets like 12 hours

I'm disappointed that Turtle Beach used the same design for the headband... it has been known that they easily snap since they first introduced the design 😐
I had a pair of their older headsets snap on me and it has kept me from going back to them even though I REALLY like the bluetooth functionality and can't find another brand that offers it.

Loved them in every detail.
Loved the app and all the options.
After 3 months the battery life went from 10+ hours to 3-4 hours...
Never charged them overnight or with other cables.
Then I've not used them for a year, plugged them back and the battery life is 0. Just doesn't charge at all.
I've never damaged them or anything.

I am replacing my Stealth 520 and was considering this because my stealth 520 was great... but doesn't survive rage mode lol. Yes it will work, the optical cable is optional for improved sound quality. I have the original PS4 and used the optical cable a few times, but there is basically no difference. You won’t be missing out.

Between the TB 700, Astro a20, and Plantronic RIG 800, which would you recommend? The RIG 800 has great reviews but not very many reviews.

Which platform do you play on? Do you care about the mic quality? If you care about mic quality because you play a lot with friends, go for the Cloud flight. If you play solo most of the time and mic isn't that much of a deal for you, go for the 800s
DannyBos I play on PS4 Mic quality isn’t that important tbh. What do you think of the 700s. I would be getting them for 50 pound cheaper which I could put into a game instead
I think that the 700s will be good enough. The 800s are pretty similar to the 700s, despite the fact that they look different, have a magnetic charging/base station and maybe better sound. Try to find some reviews about the 800 and 700. I think that if you have the money, the 800s will be a better choice. If you want to save some money to (in your case) buy a game, the 700s will be great too.

Just one question for you or others. So i can have the sound from my PS4 and still have sound from my phone at the same time, but can i also have PS4 Sound and the sound from my Laptop which got Bluetooth, on the same time or do i need the Stick which is plugged into my PS4 also on my Laptop to use it.
Because the PX22 was especially so great for me because i was able to have PS4 and my Laptop both on the headset and if this would be possible with a wireless one would be incredible. And that i have to manually change the volume on the phone/laptop doesnt bother me one bit personally^^

The mic in the 700 sounds a tad better than the 600. In the mic test segment of that video, I kept hearing a faint clicking noise. I wanted to get the 700 for the separate game and chat controls, but apparently it only works for Playstations with an optical jack.
Would you recommend these over the stealth 800?

That mic is pretty good for a wireless headset and I'd say get these over the 600s anyday
How you connecting Optical Cable to your headset? I alreay using my PS4 optical output for my Soundbar. So DTS sound coming to directly to headset via usb dongle or we are using optical cable and connecting to headset!

I have the Turtle Beach stealth 600 and it is a really nice headset the only problem is that I can't adjust party volume and chat volume with that headset so it gets to be a nuisance when my party chat is full and everyone is talking while I'm trying to play a story based game but still get that rich quality sound. I bought the PS Platinum headset so that I can adjust game and chat audio when I play story based games and stealth 600 with the multiplayer titles
I realize this is a verry old post in terms of audio technology. I have the Turtle beach 350 VR and Love them. Problem is that my control audio jack broke which rendered the headphones useless. The cheaper option is for me to go wireless headset. How would you compare these to the Stealth 350 VR in terms of sound quality highs, mids and base? I really enjoy the stealth 350 VR built in amp. Produces really nice sound.

I liked the headset I have had it since it came out but now it the Bluetooth doesn’t work, it will work for like 5 minutes then will randomly disconnect and I have to repair it and repeat every time I wanna use it
Other than the bluetooth not working, how was your experience the past 3 years owning these headphones? I just picked these up and I'm not sure if I want to keep them because I heard the battery life will decrease very fast and I'm not a fan of the build quality. Also I want to buy the PS5 and they will release new headphones with it too but then I have to wait lol
As well as the noise cancellation you can have it so you can talk to people around you and still here the game fine. I personally like that bcuz my mom is always talking to me
2 years later and I’m wondering, stealth 700 vs ps platinums? mainly for surround sound and pin pointing enemies? Or do you have a new recommendation?
Two questions (sorry if they are dumb questions):
1. Can you plug them into your PS4 (like a wired headset) via USB and use them regardless of the battery life? Basically, if they are plugged into your ps4 can you use them without draining battery life, and/or use them even if the battery is dead?
2. If you are charging it, is it okay to leave it plugged in past full charge? Like if I'm done gaming, I plug them in to charge and leave them plugged in overnight until I game the next night? I know with some electronics it hurts the battery if you leave it plugged in longer than full charge.

I have these and I think they are ok. 9/10. The only complaint that I have is that the ear cups are uncomfortable. The sound quality is great and they connect very easily.

Hey idk if u can help me out but when i have my 700 plug in and charging the USB transmitter will start flashing and i get the message saying the USB Device is not recognized.

Its a 8 out of 10 for me, its good, sound quality is great it was a little confusing, as in the controls, but after that it was great, did feel a little heavy not on the top of my head but on the side of my head, well my ears, didn't hurt me my glasses felt fine but it does feel like a toy, towards the top but other than that its great

Does the mic dial on this headset adjust other people’s mic volume when your in a party? . Because the 500Ps did and when they unfortunately broke I got the 600s and they adjust your own mic volume and that’s just straight garbage can’t say I’m surprised my 600s are falling apart now cannot wait to snap them in half if I end up getting this headset
I found that aux cord adaptation really doesnt work unless they patched it and i dont know but I bought a aux cord with mic support but it doesnt work and i dont know why

i just bought these today. I think I might return them. I havent tried it with bluetooth yet but im assuming that wouldnt be as good? One thing, and way this is just with all headphones on the ps4,is with the volume at max its just comfortable. i would like them to be able to go a bit louder. When you did the 600s first to gold video, you were talking into the 600 mic and there was a popping sound. I heard it on another 600 review video. I did not hear it on this video with the 700s. Is that something I’m going to get with the 600s or was that some other issues going on in the video and not with the headphone mic. I don’t want that popping sound and I don’t want people I’m gaming with to hear it. Otherwise I’ll buy the 700s

I have stealth 700 for xbox and I decided to also get hyperx alphas. I got them for 70 bucks from walmart yesterday.
This video may have swayed me to order one of these, since my XO Seven Pro's seem to be dead. I've been looking for a TB headset that i can do mic monitoring on both consoles (I would be buying a 3.5mm aux input, and using the Ear Force Headset Audio Controller Plus that I already have. In order to balance out the functionality of this headset for both consoles. My only concern, as I bought a pair of Recon 200's last week, and had to return them... Is that the Recon 200 ear cups seemed so small, they would bother me after a half hour or so of use, so I'm wondering if these would yield the same results....
@mista dont play lol too late, bought one, and already got rid of them. Horrible, cheap headset for the price. Couldnt keep the bluetooth connected to my phone, the charging cable that came out of the box would not allow me to update the firmware, or even charge the headset for that matter. I sold them and got a pair of elite atlas', usong them amped is exceptionl, much better headset. Im just about that wired life, i guess.

How many turtle beach broken in you hands?, I love the sounds of the turtles I have tried but all of them broke within 6 months and the elite 800 lasted 2 days and snapped. As all the other plastic cracked. I treat my stuff very careful so please let me know if you have the same problem
theonedom In Gaming yeah the build quality isn't the best, I wish it was something like the px24 which I previously had, it lasted about a year with rough use and only broke because my dog bit the cord and snapped it but the headset it self was very sturdy, but the stealth, I was careful with it (unlike my px24 because it was expensive) and one day may brother threw it on the wooden floor, I got mad and thought it had a scratch...it snapped from just being thrown on the ground, tbh I just got a cloud alpha after and locked my room so my dog doesn't come in

I've had no issues but today I turned on my head set ( the firmware is up to date) and it won't connect to my PS4, the USB dongle is connected and everything and it's blinking and I can't hear anything

So still the same but worse then my old PX5 that had Bluetooth volume. Love that the PX5 takes AA batteries to use a set of enloop rechargeable batteries. Never need to worry about a dead headset with swappable batteries

Hey Gamesky, recently got into your videos because my Playstation Gold Headset broke after 2 years and im looking into getting another headset. Id love your thoughts on making a decision over a new headset which has bluetooth(would be great but not required), great audio, durability, feel nice all around and wireless . Watch so many many of your reviews, its hard to come to a conclusion on which headsets the best over another. Your help would be appreciated thanks :)
Andriy Hnatkiv what's your price tag? If your going between 120 and 160, there is the hyper cloud flight, great quality, decent mic(better then the gold),wireless, the sound is punching but still has good mids and highs plus the range is incredible, I walked upstairs into my bathroom wearing these and the connection didn't break, and they are comfortable...there made by hyper x, of course they are a 10/10 in comfort.
If you want to go and spend ATON of money on a pair of gaming headsets...I have to Say the best is the Siberia 800 or 840(the difference is that the 840 are Bluetooth) there price varies to country so I can't really give an estimate but they are pricey and the best of the best, they get a 10/10 in comfort, they have some deep bass and rich mids with great highs and are the best, there battery is infinite, due to you just swapping batteries, while using one battery the other battery is charging and you swap every 8-10 hours and you can use them wired....the mic on the Siberia is....better then the Sony gold, but that's not really an accomplishment since any headset mic is better then the gold but that's there only drawback, I can't give you a mc test but just search it on UA-cam.

Idk why people are so touchy about items having finger prints on them...I don’t get why lol I mean I get it when theirs finger prints on TVs or devices you use to watch videos or play games on because it obstructs the view but on things like headphones, remotes, and other things like that lol the prints aren’t going to alter its reliability or damage it lol the obvious exception are true OCD folks so they can’t handle it and I understand that but to normal people who say they have OCD but really don’t just get over! I couldn't decide on which to buy, Sony platinum, Razer Thrasher 7.1 or Turtle Beach Stealth 700 for PS4 pro... I ordered TB Stealth 700. For me was important 7.1 surround sound for headset that PS4 suppots. There is so many great 7.1 headsets, but they don't support 7.1 on PS4. So there's actualy not too many haedsets which support 7.1 on PS4.

If you are mainly going to use it for consoles, you will not be able to take advantage of the surround sounds only stereo. But for pc, the cloud allows 7.1 surround sound. The 700 are quite comfy, but the clouds beat it still for comfort..
Kiante Brunner I’m a little unclear and hope you could help. If Bluetoothed to PS4 do you get 7.1 ok? I find people can creep up behind me and I never hear them coming you see.
You can get 7.1 with the stealth 700 on both pc and console, alpha only is with pc but 7.1 isn't that good tbh, it makes games sound terrible and so which is why I prefer stereo, it's more detailed, but you can get super human hearing on both pc and console aswell. If you prefer having less bass and like more mids and highs go for the alpha, if you like the bass to be punchy and fun, while still having pretty decent but not as good as the alphas mids and highs, go for the 700. I had both, I used both at the same time and was gonna return the other, i chose the 700, I personally enjoyed the sound on the alpha and thought they were more comfortable but the wireless won me over but I'm going to return my 700s to get the Siberia 840, they seem great and much better then the 700
King Ibby I got the elite 800 TB. Very good, great sound for games and music is really excellent as well. Still can’t hear anyone behind me unless I’m pretty still myself. Great if in a room or something, can hear people directionally very well. However if moving outside you cannot hear anything behind you really, well loud things like gunfire is fine, you hear that and can pinpoint easily wear it’s coming from.

You just get the USB stick and put it in your PC. The audio quality is much better via the USB than bluetooth.

Collin Henderson they are really good quality wise and they are a little uncomfortable but you are right they are easily breakable. Mine pair broke 1 year into the headset.
