  • A certain amount of uncertainty surrounds the disappearance of Alex Belfield from UA-cam. It seems that the host of the channel was not always entirely honest with viewers.

I liked his channel until he insulted someone suffering from depression - calling him selfish. No doubt Belfield is one of the lucky ones never to have suffered from that horrible disability. Blaming someone for their own disability is just wrong.

Same! I liked him but he insulted someone in recovery from addiction once and that deserves ultimate respect so I respectfully called him on it because he obviously wasn’t knowledgeable on the subject. His arrogance was his downfall unfortunately

Belfield, the guy once had the brass nerve to make an appeal for donations for his legal lawyer fees on a Sunday evening, yet by the Monday afternoon he had released a video of him travelling first class to London by rail and then staying a couple of nights in a top class swanky London hotel. It was at that stage i first began to think something was a bit rotten with Belfield and my interest in him started to lessen. His channel just became about `him` more and more and actually became a little boring.

It is very sad. I enjoyed watching Alex for the two years of lockdown. However, I did get fed up with all his jelly-wobbler and man-sausage 'jokes'. What kept me watching his channel were his exposure of, and attacks on, hypocrites and the corrupt. He should have stuck with this. To go behind a pay wall, is to preach to the converted. Spot on kEYBAWD, he gave many clues in previous months he would end up behind a paywall. He was purposely pushing the boundaries & painting himself a hero of free speech. His Barrister has been paid for by donations so now it's time for him to make a ton of money after insulting the folks he claimed to champion namely the poorest by saying it's only the price of a beer. With the price of gas-electric, inflation the very poorest who looked up to him just haven't got that to fritter away on one man's echo chamber. Rumble was a clear option to stay free so I am sure this was all planned.

He just repeats the same jokes over and over, which I wouldn't mind If they were even slightly funny, but they aren't they're just irritating. Same things every video, nothing new at all. His impressions are terrible too. Towing the WOKE/leftist line of jokes is just not funny, we need to get back to being able to offend people in funny ways, not the Belfield way which was offend them just for the sake of offending them because he doesn't like those people, that's childish not funny.
All he did was pick news articles and parrot what was mentioned with is own small twist and by doing so got so many things wrong, info and misinformation. I called him out many times for putting out the wrong facts, but he never read his comments so was pointless, and his subscribers would hang on his every word without checking, believing his nonsense. Not to mention the videos he got many dislikes for he would delete or private them. Clickbait was used on every video (up to 6 or more a day) which showed he was only in it for the grift/money and I lost count of how many times his video always came back to him and his back doors getting kicked in, got sick of hearing about "back doors/no warrant" etc, on every other video. He could be talking about Katy Price or whoever and it always ended with him and his back doors.

Bellfield made some good videos during lockdown particularly exposing the hypocrisy of the authorities and the stupidity of some people but overtime I found him increasingly irritating. Some of his comments on people’s appearance went beyond humour and were down right cruel and were often irrelevant to the point he was making. It was sneering and condescending stuff. After about 6 months I muted notifications and later just unsubscribed. He had a lot of promise as an alternative voice but his obsessions, anger issues and sub-chubby brown “humour” were not something I wanted to see for free never mind pay for.

This was foolish, because he does have a strong case for police harassment and dubious allegations from the BBC. Also, I could smell a rat when he was asking for money for his eye wateringly expensive barristers, yet many of his supporters are ignorant he is in fact quite rather wealthy vis a vis the average man on the street. Very true, I love Simon and his stuff but feel he is being a little harsh here and don't appreciate the way he is hanging a fellow British conservative UA-camr out to dry, as I guessed by his video title alone. Alex was one of the few Brits actually really making a stand for us here, when the West is now all but conquered by Islam and the Left and we are on the brink of total domination. I don't think Simon has been in Alex's shoes regarding the police, I have (Scotland is even worse than England!) and know exactly what he is talking about. I could give a million examples, suffice to say when reporting a crime in Scotland the police ask you if they are Asian or not! While for decades there has been an epidemic of Asians making false reports about white people and the case automatically goes to court, for allegedly saying a nasty name! MENTAL!!! We are doomed. Simon has been funny like this before, in a recent video alluding to the fact we used to be racist in Britain and in an older video claiming Google doesn't discriminate against whites when you search for 'white people' as opposed to 'black people'. I think he was either being naive there or hopefully not dishonest as he claims of Alex. Many
pointed out all he had to do was take two seconds to run such a search. He strikes me as being a bit like Fox News, kinda pretending to be conservative while actually sitting on the fence to stay on both side's good books. Doesn't work like that, it just means conservatives won't trust him and naturally lefties will hate him no matter what for ever saying anything 'anti-left' from the start. It's called falling between two stools lol. Btw, Fox really showed their true colours with the Trump/Biden and Pence/Harris debates. The 'mediators' were both clearly Democrat supporters and interrupted and plain lied as they do, at the end of the Pence debate even resorting to reading a fake child's letter to set Harris up for a cheap browning point (garden the pun!). Slimy and pathetic, luckily most of us are not as stupid as they think we are to fall for it and just see through them and their agenda even more. Simon, get off our backs with this simping crap and get real. This sounds more and more like lefty pandering and we can smell this type of treachery creeping up a mile away. It is long past being second nature to spot and don't insult like this, we need loyalty, determination and overall commitment now FAR more than ever!!

Alex did shed a light on some questionable practices at the BBC, which is public interest. But there are only so many stories about Katy Price and Carol Vorderman that one can take.
I suppose he did leave himself open to criticism for declaring that people should not watch him if they disagreed with his views, while at the same time spending a lot of time looking at Carol Vorderman on social media.

Alex Belfield told the people who donated money to him that after his court case 'victories' he would donate the money to charity. Then shortly after this he made a video saying charities are corrupt and people should not donate to them. He also said that no charges were ever made against him, yet he has 12 charges of harassment coming up very soon. This will be quite rightly seen as dishonesty by Mr. Belfield.

I don't think it's 'mystifying' why some people are against Bellfield. Here are the problems I've seen people highlight about him:
      1. Begging and misleading? He begged for donations for 'legal fees' as if he were some kind of free speech 'champion', when in fact he has a series of stalking cases that he's being taken to court for. Stalking claims from a number of different complainants. See Nottingham Court press.
2, A Broken Promise? Having pulled in donations, he never did explain how they were spent despite promising transparency.
      3. Possibly just a grifter? Many have complained that, having begged for money desperately and not explaining where it went, he went on to produce videos sitting at his grand piano talking about his lovely holidays.
      3. Deleting Our Comments! When challenged on a video where the comments didn't stroke his ego, he deleted the video and made a counter-video telling everyone to f off. He claims to champion free speech, but removed that video because our free speech hurt his ego.
