Idea: Worst wine club, do taste tests with wines under $7 dollars. Do a full sommelier session with really inexpensive wines please.
Damn, that's good.
My friend in the industry started doing this while we were in college and I've never drank so many amazing wines under 10 bucks in my life. Would love to see it turn into a thing.
This is probably a great idea. Too many people seem to equate wine with wealth.
@@JonDotExe Really glad to hear this!! Heck yes.
@@Crazt agreed! One part entertainment, one part solid inexpensive suggestions.
Dude you're hilarious as hell as you are, we're here for you, not because we're going to go out and buy the booze you review. Do something you enjoy, the cooking for instance, you've been done dirty by youtube but the core audience just want to see you do your thing. Happy new year
Facts
This 100. PV3 could review dirt and we'd be here for it cause it would be nihlistic and funny.
It's hard to pull off a mustache like that, but you make it work. Keep doing your thing, man.
How about a "fancy on a budget" cocktail series where you have to go into a liquor store at random with something like $10-20 and find things to put together a cocktail with (including garnish)
Just remember when the crowd says there is a problem usually theyre right - when the crowd offers a solution usually theyre wrong.
If you're opening up to food, I definitely vote for dollar tree/family dollar burritos, steaks, meals, etc. Also, the wife and I LOVE the caterpillar...
Fantastic idea!
The hungry caterpillar shuffle on the steering wheel made me laugh out loud fr
It also made me feel itchy... Like some sort of comical tactile hallucination. The moustache and the big scowling eyes make you look like Ron Swanson ha
do a "slay at the bar" series combining what people should wear and what they should drink
Honestly, what I enjoy the most about your videos is your sense of humour and your delivery. I think I would watch pretty much anything you review because you make it entertaining. It's difficult to suggest a topic to branch out into but I can definitely see food reviews mesh nicely with the current format. Luxury goods would be a great addition as I can see you acting out what someone who wears a Rolex or smokes expensive cigars would behave like. Looking forward to whatever you bring to us :)
I loved your $5 treasure videos. They were great!
You're about 3 weeks of growth away from looking like creepy Rob Lowe from those old Direct TV ads. Magnificent.
I’d enjoy seeing collaborations with the maker community. Have them send you their crazy concoctions like the ones from Whiskey Tribe or “Still It” meme spirits series.
Happy New Year, Magnum.
Needs more Hawaiian shirts and a Ferrari.
@@espidey8374 and some visits by Prescat too
I think it would be great to see you out and about and giving advice to people about what alcohol they should drink.
PV3 always brings it. Protect this man.
Yes bring us along to go try all the things and meet all the people! Your humor and delivery is one of the best around. The TikTok shorts brought me to your UA-cam. I wish you good luck this year!
I really like food reviews. Frozen meals, cheap fast foods, any thing that a college student would eat.
THAT is a mustache, I hate to echo everyone else but you're such a unique character Prescott. I'd watch you review about anything, you just bring a good character and humor to every video. As long as you're still enjoying making content is what matters, don't burn yourself out on alcohol reviews.
Came for the humorous early reviews.
Stayed through the depressive comedy for the unadulterated reviews.
Going to watch every video regardless of content at this point because I enjoy you as a human.
Congrats on the success and keep it up, good sir.
I always found the "lore" bits we got really entertaining. I wouldn't mind seeing a treatment for sitcom, maybe an animation with PV3 as the protaganist. Could make use of flashbacks to PV3's memory, with commentary from PV3 with "What he thought he saw..." but the visual scene we see is the harsh truth. I'd watch the shit out of that.
Car reviews. I just think there would be a lot of things to talk about in your style. Also, someone else posted about helping people with pairings. I think that could be fun for a few episodes if you focused on more interesting pairings... What is the best hooch to smuggle into a cafeteria? What is the worst option for drinking with a fancy meal? Regional dishes or specialties that you've never tried and figure out what would go best with them.
Honestly I enjoy every video you make. The reviews are fun, the food stuff is fun, it's all great.
Themed video series like malort mixology, $5 pleasures, or the old trend of the cheapest possible stuff (thunderbird, OE800, etc) was entertaining.
I do really think you need to try barrel aged malort. It's shockingly not awful!
Go to different breweries and wineries to interview people. The owners, bartenders, patrons, etc. With your humor and wit, it would be fun and interesting
Been watching a long time! What drew me to your videos? Your down to earth humor and life stories. I thought the cooking videos were great. I add a vote for more lore! Thanks for your videos!
That is one of the most excellent mustaches I’ve seen.
Please keep it!
What got me here was the lore. Sure, the reviews are fun, and not being American I got to know a few things I kinda wanna but probably shouldn't try, but how they intermixed with the great storytelling of a broken man is what kept me coming back and watching everything in chronological order
Oh my. The molestache is crazy!!!!
People like your videos because they like your personality and humor, so I think you should do more videos that you enjoy doing, even if they haven't performed as well in the past (e.g. food) because that will be the most sustainable thing for you. Personally, I love the random lore and world building we get in the videos lol
PLEASE bring back For My Rating! That single episode might still be your greatest video IMO, and it's definitely your most underrated.
I had an alcoholic problem and had to quit watching for reasons related to that. HOWEVER, you absolutely tickle my funny bone. I stay subbed to come back every once in a while. Never give up, my dude.
you’ve got a solid stache sir. the review videos are great but ultimately you’re a funny guy and id love to see you make what you wanna make. not everything can be a hit right away but like if you have some other interests, dive into those in some way ✌️ happy new year
Just throwing this out there.... Greyhound bus coast to coast challenge.... you get to travel....have layovers in interesting sketchy places with some sketchier people... pack light and tape your debit card to your inner thigh... but other youtubers have done it and survived. 😂
Vlog style would be a fun addition. I would also like to see "For My Rating" make a return!
The mustache is a little creepy but even creepier when he strokes his mustache with his rat hands….
Happy New Year to PVIII this could be his year!
I’d like to see PV3 review more things that he actually enjoys.
I would like to see you make smoothies out of convenience-store sale items, drink the smoothies through your (magnificent) mustache, and then rate the smoothies on flavor, texture, and ease of removal from mustache.
Stuff we can do at home, original food and cocktail recipes!
Digging the lip caterpillar!
Maybe take a page out of the Disney+ book and give us a full back story on the Wooden Mannequins that sometimes hang in the background stoically / suspiciously? Hopefully seeing you collab with other channels will be awesome. I'm sure the crew at Whiskey Tribe/Modern Rouge could be taught a few things about the nuances of Malort. But whatever you do, we'll be here, and good luck in 2024!
I don't have a clue. Innovating or evolving your channel is pretty hard. However, I do enjoy your UA-cam personality so I hope you and the team can find something. I'll still watch either way.
Creative Idea: Branch out from behind the bar and have guests while doing your craft. Sort of a Conan meets Hot ones, but with alcohol. Sounds like a laugh to me.
1) review classic Chicago cocktails
2) review interesting cocktails from interesting Chicago bars (like 3 dots & a dash)
3) update everyone on who you are and what your story is
Definitely do food! I would love to hear your takes on everything from fast food to popular sit down chains!
Absolutely love your humor! Please keep it up!
I'm just here for your personality! I'll be happy as long as you're happy.
PV3 somaliering from wineries in your area would be in your element for sure bro.
I love anything you do. You're funny as hell and your delivery is always on point. Sarcasm and a really dry sense of humour are hard to find in N. America and I, for one, appreciate the hell out of you for it. You do you. I'm here to watch and laugh. (although the cheap wines or "wines on a budget" ideas below sound fantastic)
Collaborations with food or alcohol channels, cheap product reviews, new product reviews, and restaurant/bar reviews.
I just found out about the podcast. I listened to the three episodes and I thought it was great! Entertaining and funny, not boring. It reminded me of the flow of some of my other favorite conversational-style podcasts. Honestly you don’t need to worry so much about the topics, your “yes and”-ing keeps it going on its own. Anyway, I know it sounds like continuing it is off the table, but I just wanted to let you know I found it enjoyable and say thank you.
I wondered where the convenience store food reviews went, I missed them
Love the stash. My hubby had a beard and moustache he cut it off one day and slept in the spare bedroom until it grew back. I married a guy with a beard and moustache, not a clean shaven one. Only went out with one clean shaven guy. Didn’t last long.
UA-cam did you dirty. I never see you on my recomended but always love your videos. Much love
I'd love to see you dive into some more local beers from around the US.
Maybe doing something like bringing guests on with a drink, or doing collaborations with chefs or brewers
Happy New Year My guy!
I love that mustache! ❤
Yes vlog style videos would be fun! Also, super pricey wine vs. cheap versions
Here for whatever you do. Happy New Year!
I'm glad this important update came from the CVS parking lot.
Happy malort, PV3!
As long as u do whatver makes u happy, that's all that matters! Can't wait to see what content u make this year! Movie reviews would probably do pretty well! I feel that draws quite a few people! I feel like I'll watch pretty much anything lol. Anyway, wishing u the best and happy new year!.🎊🎉🥂
I really want to see more legitimate wine reviews, like the one you did for Valentine's Day last year.
Thank you for the video.
Your comparison vids are great! Especially with your helpers!
It's time to introduce us to Chadwick.
One of the best channels ever. Your humor is truly on another level. Perfectly dry, precisely timed and alongside content that is interesting even without the calculated humor. Shame on YT’s algorithm for dropping the ball on the visibility of your videos recently, even for your subscribers. I hope you are doing well, and that YT starts recommending and keeping such great channels like yours visible to subscribers and non-subscribers alike.
We love PV3. Whatever it is you'll do, I'm sure I'll die laughing watching it. Happy New Year.
Much like every thing you put out that mustache is top notch!!!!! Keep up the good work sir
I, personally, LOVE the mustache!
Personally, I'd like to see a series where you try out country specific alcohols. Aquavit from Norway, for example, or tequila from Mexico etc etc. Visit their specialties and maybe try out a single drink it is meant to go well in.
I did not realize you had a you tube channel. I just subscribed. I have a lot of catching up to do.
I enjoy all you do.
Hello, Willford Brimley Jr.
Happy New Year! I love your sense of humor. In addition to being surprised by what you come up with, I would really appreciate a series on wines - the why, what, where, who and when (or something like that). What I mean is something that can teach me about your field of expertise. I imagine something that blends real teaching with your own brand of lols. What grapes are there and what distinguishes them. What aspects of the wine making process impact the final product to a significant degree. What makes a good wine good and a bad wine bad, aside from just subjective preferences? What am I paying extra for in an expensive wine except for the gold foil lettering on the label? Things like that... I hope you have a wonderful start of 2024! All the best. /John (p.s the stash looks great on you! d.s)
I feel like it might be cool if you did videos on how to further develop one's palate, different ways and techniques to further enhance or detect the flavours in various wines and spirits, or videos on how one can take a sommelier journey?
I love your channel and I have to say, you bear quite the resemblance to John Schneider from Dukes of Hazzard.
"Hungry Caterpillar" had me rolling. The fast food drive through in the car was a favorite, just don't get sued for bashing Baja Blast.
I want that wild turkey review… but seriously, love and look forward to all the content, whatever that may be
besides all your fantastic stuff i found your traditional tasting of Château Husson Châteauneuf-du-Pape very nice. keep it up - do your thing!
I'd like to see you tackle the hot ones hot sauce gauntlet. Would fit the writing style of the show.
Everclear cocktails. How to make them, what flavors you like, what ratio is best etc etc
OMG! The mustache caterpillar had me rolling
Should introduce some of those people you talk about! Bring them on!
The stache is epic bud. Never change it
Brewery/vineyard tours. In true PV3 style
Have you considered trying out making home-brew based on interesting recipes you find online
i'm wondering if you could do a portanoy style review where you go out to a location and review something. Maybe its a brewery, maybe its food or anything really. Makes for easy shorts style videos that could bring more viewers to the channel. Cheers m8
I enjoy the Gas Station Food Reviews!
As far as something new and hot, besides that 'stache, how about some hot sauces?
Looking forward to seeing that 'stache filter some delicious/questionable beverages.
Would love a sommelier education series with cheap drinks. teach us how to take your lack of job
Mmm-mmm-mmm, now you get to store those Malort notes in the flavor saver!
As a fellow grower of cookie-dusters, your 'stache is reminiscent of the finest masculine role model that 90's television had to offer: Ned Flanders. Good on ya.
I would really enjoy more reviews of middle to upper quality, hard alcohol. I think that's what the majority of people drink. It can relate to the population. Wines tend to come and go and are not exactly the same brand or quality year after year. I'm a little bias though. I was a bartender for 10 years and a drunk for going on 32 years now (alcoholics have to go to class).
i would love to see you do some fishing tackle reviews or maybe guns and hunting equipment reviews i feel like you could make them very entertaining.
Very excited for 2024 unemployedwineguy!!! if you wanna know what your fanbase wants, polls are a great option. i believe they are available under the community tab
I wish I was in that parking lot when you were doing the hungry caterpiller!
What about brewing your own alcohol for later sampling possibly? maybe even brew for food pairings. maybe reviewing horrible products like as seen on tv stuff idk.
That OF look killed me. Have a great year sir.
New in 2023, UA-cam added some weird feature where you can say Like and Subscribe and it'll make the buttons do fancy stuff... maybe. Good luck. Lose the 'stash. :)
Find local dive bars and chat with keepers and review the most popular drinks at those bars.
Thats 🔥
Idea: all the ice beers. Like compare the worst of the worst. BONUS POINTS if they are all room temp
I was gonna say that has got to go but then you did the mustache break and cracked me up! Keep it up dude!
I spat my beer out at 2:47... so, thanks for that.
Ned Flanders cosplay? Maybe? 😆
