Let’s be realistic. We sold a 20 point lead in game 2 cause rui couldn’t guard mpj, dlo couldn’t guard anyone or score anything (reaves too), there was some questionable officiating darvin ham had some of the worst rotations I’ve ever seen, and mpj couldn’t miss. All that and they won on a game winner that wouldn’t have happened if Lebron hit that three. So if all that doesn’t go wrong and work perfectly for the nuggets the series is tied 1-1 going back to la. Also game 3 the lakers looked defeated and like they weren’t trying but let’s say they lose that. Then we win game 4 so the series is now tied 2-2. Now in game 5 the lakers shoot 28% from three (and we missed a LOT of open threes) and the nuggets shoot 42% from three. The lakers shoot 67% from the free throw line and the nuggets shoot 89%. And this doesn’t even count the countless missed layups by rui. On top of that Reggie mf Jackson made 2 threes and scored 8 points and Aaron Gordon shot 50% from three. And Dlo once again couldn’t hit a three and rui couldn’t guard mpj. Ad also got hurt in the third quarter and didn’t score after that and Lebron tweaked his ankle in the fourth. And with 3 seconds left in the game we had a chance to tie but had no timeouts to move the ball up the court because we wasted our last one on our second (successful) challenge after 2 obvious calls we shouldn’t have needed to challenge. Despite all this the game STILL came down to a game winner by Jamal Murray. And if we hit one of our wide open threes or three more free throws that we missed or one more layup we would’ve one and be up in the series 3-2 going home. U can say I’m coping or wtvr but my point is jokic is overrated as a player and in the big moments Jamal Murray had to step up. Not to mention all those third quarter comebacks in this series were because of mpj not jokic. That’s why jokic didn’t start winning shit until he got mpj and Aaron Gordon. If u switched bron and ad with jokic and Jamal Murray Bron and ad would’ve won in 5. And last year in the finals jokic could look like he carries his team because the heat were not a real finals team. So if ur a laker fan don’t be too upset because this series could very easily be the opposite and half our depth like vando and wood were injured this series. We exposed Denver for the frauds they r and I don’t think they’re getting to the finals (unless mpj keeps averaging 25 ppg on 50% from three). Nuggets r in trouble 😂 let go twolves

Being that Mr. James is older now and a family man, he’s not interested in going from team to team anymore. He’s established in LA where his family is and from it sounds family has become more relevant than wearing himself out too much more in chasing another ring. Sounds like he’s comfortable with his son making his own decision.

I severely doubt that many teams want Bron drama at this point. They also don't wanna build a team around the guy. If the goal is for Bronny to sit on the bench all year and play a few minutes with dad, then the Lakers are signing up for nothing other than Bron reality show.
If Lakers fans haven't figured it out, Bron is taking your team hostage and you really should want a complete rebuild. When he's finally done with the NBA his plans will have sucked the Lakers future dry. Sleaving it smoldering for years... And the fans praying some natural talent rises from those ashes.

Come on Lakers it’s an easy out. If he demands to have his son picked or else. I gotta go or else’s. It will take a miracle for the Lakers turn this roster into a legit contender next season. If Lebron leaves it will give us a head start on our rebuilding process. Rather that than the Lakers wasting another season. Trying to scrap together picks and player contracts to bring in another underperforming player.

When I was a kid my dad gave me a hug when she dropped me off from school. Some other kids saw it, and laughed and gave me crap about it. My dad saw them, so next time he dropped me off he said "you know I don't have to give you a hug, it's ok". I hugged him and told him I didn't give a crap about what other kids thought. If I was Bronny, a young confident kid, and my options were to hoop with my dad in the NBA and cop some shit about it, or change what I wanted to do because others wanted to sound off about it, I know which one I'm choosin. Bronny is good enough to be a late first round pick where he will spend most of the time in the G league. I don't think he would improve that much from one more year in college, if he can get drafted I would go for it screw what critiques would say. If he is not good enough to play in the NBA he won't be around 2 or 3 years from now so if he makes it it will be on his own ability who cares if he got drafted because Lebron is his father you take whatever chances you have to be in the NBA but if you make it it will be because you proved you are good enough.

In my opinion, it’s time to let go, and move on from LBJ and Davis. The Lakers are paying max contracts for them, but are getting low returns. Davis is way to inconsistent and injury prone. Drafting Bronny would be terrible, as he couldn’t even ball at SC. He is nowhere near ready.
The above, coupled with a bone head coach… It’s no surprise we got nocked out in the first round of the playoffs.

Conflicted. As great as Kobe was, I wasn't a fan of giving him the 2 year extension coming off the Achilles injury and reportedly being a free agent repellent. This would be worse pandering, but it's also about money. It's worth it to the franchise. Financially.

Sent 1st round pick to get Westbrook, then another 1st round pick to get rid of Westbrook for DLo. Jalen Hood-Schifino was drafted by lakers first round and never played.

The issue is Bron asking for a max contract when he turns 40. Lakers will be in the Play-in purgatory. If he takes way less so we can get someone like Donovan Mitchell, then I am all for having Bron and his kid. If Jeannie is dumb to pay the max, then forget winning. unless you're getting him as a udfa or 2nd round pick as of right now I would not pick up Bronny, I believe in him, but he needs a healthy year bc he is not an NBA player as of right now. Leaving early would be the biggest mistake of his career imo. He's seen it with people close to him how detrimental it can be, Zaire Wade, BJ Boston, Amari Bailey.

Let's be for real what player out of college right now that's the 17th pick is going to help us win a championship next season for the Lakers 🤔? Might as well pick Bronny as the 17th. No rookie is going to help any team win a championship let alone the Lakers. I think last player who did that was Tim Duncan back in 99. An the spurs was pretty much a built championship team already. The best 17th pick player for the last 20 years is probably Jrue Holiday an he didn't win a championship until his 12th year in the league. He's been In the league 15 years already. I think bronny should go back to USC and develop his game. Critics will come anyway regardless if he plays with his dad or not... then why not give urself a better chance to compete than just be on a roster, and most likely a g-league player if bronny pushes for the draft
