This was not an interview...It was better than that... It was a conversation. Great job Shannon!!!!!!!!

Exactly. No “a couple truths” and then followed with a bunch of lies and flat out false accusations ie Katt
No 'professional victims.'
Club Shay Shay has never been messy. Y’all disagree with a persons truth because y’all don’t like them for speaking up when others were afraid to speak up.

The way you portray us on your platform is saluted. You show no biases in discussions & you dont overtalk counterparts. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!! YOU INSPIRE GREATNESS & PERSONIFY THE DIGNITY OUR CULTURE NEEDS TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR.
I'm totally into these old-school sportsman chats-they're just packed with wisdom and life lessons, and the principles are straightforward.
One thing I love about Charles in telling his story is how he had enough self-awareness to know when he was doing something wrong or was holding on to emotional pain that wasn't helping him and made a change for the better. My favorite examples were him turning away from a potential life of juvenile delinquency when he thought about his grandmother while hiding from police in the woods and realizing the anger he had on the basketball court stemmed from childhood pain of having an absent father growing up.
Not everyone does this.
I honestly believe his character would make him a great president today. Because hes rich and he was poor. He would do the right if he were president and I know it sounds crazy but you need someone like Chuck at top keeping everyone in check.
Growing up I could not stand him for spitting on somebody. I grew a brand new respect for him because of his transparency in this interview..

It's wisdom. What Charles Barkley has is wisdom, the kind that only comes from going through life and making mistakes and learning from them. There's a lot we could all learn from him, but the ability to be honest with ourselves and learn from where we go wrong is the biggest one

Shannon possesses a rare talent for fostering engaging conversations, and I deeply appreciate and admire that about him.

Nothing like a man that loves his Mama and Grandma

@vincedidiana5781 so I don't see anything wrong with loving everyone in the family. But mama and grandma shouldn't be left to do it all
One of the things I take from this interview is Charles sharing stories about his grandma and the love and respect he talks about her just as Shannon does. Those Southerners grandma back in the days… So awesome they use to give their heart and soul for their families. Amazing.
Yes WE do
Not no mo! This generation n world is way left n it's sad though. Ain't nothing like mama.n GMA love ❣️
The generation that grew up with big mama we are supposed to show love and share wisdom to generations that come after us
Yes, it actually hurt to see how much the younger generation doesn’t appreciate what the past went through that allows them to do the things they take for granted today. I understand that at 19 and I’m a Gen X’r 😂
Back in the Day when GRANDMA wasnt 35 and twerking at the club with her daughters.
The gaming nerd in me misses playing as Charles Barkley. He won't consent to his NIL until 2K pays legends 1 million dollars for appearing on the games. Theres no reason 2k shouldn't pay these guys and allow fans to use their favorite players. Reggie Miller is the same as Charles.
I think nba2k13 playing as dream team has Barkley on there not on 76ers and 2k doesn't have 90s sun's team growing up on ea sports basketball games Barkley was on there remember one nba live game you had to type player last name and could play as legend players

What impresses me the most about Sir Charles, is he talked to himself honestly like a best friend to overcome emotional wounds from childhood and became his best self. That is a mature man and great example for others. I salute you, Sir Charles. 🙏
I said the same thing!!!
He’s an awesome example of someone who had to grow up in the spotlight but has taken each mistake on the chin and openly and unapologetically grown from it! He has so much life wisdom to share 😊
It's crazy to me how much you think you know about someone when there was a media narrative like the "I'm not a role model" Nike commercials. Conveying how Chuck didn't care about anything when in fact he's one of the more sensitive people and really he was just trying to show people not everyone can be a pro athlete but can still do great things in life. Then openly talking about crying on different occasions and showing he's at touch with his feelings as well as the humility he shows consistently. Great interview
I love Charles, he's so refreshing!!! I love the way he talks so authenticaly and is not afraid to tell his truth in front of the whole world basically. And also so charismatic and funny the way he delivers his stories and statements, it's just so fun and easy to watch and listen to him.

Charles Barkley rarely do many interviews on other people's platforms. Especially on social media. His conversation is laid back, honest, truthful, and brutally honest. I was a friend of a fellow whose brother played with Charles when he was in Phoenix, I was able to meet him after a road game with our young daughters, other players rushed by, but Charles was friendly, joked with the girls, signed everything the girls wanted signed and as a father, for such a celebrity to make a few minutes special for his kids was incredible.
