    Thank you for doing this video brother. I have been on TRT for two weeks now and I can tell you, it was the best decision I ever made in my life. I feel like I have more energy, reignited a fire in me forsure, sleep better, my recovery at the gym is much better. I've been at least 5 times more productive. I don't know the long term effects, but I am thanking God for feeling great today. Thanks for my information on this topic. I have yet to seen any Black Men in my clinic, so I was kinda getting scared lol

      You're correct they're not many African Americans getting prescriptions for TRT. There are racial determinants that play a factor, but also African American males naturally have higher testosterone levels than their white counterparts. White men testosterone levels decline quicker and have insecurity complexes that would have them getting prescriptions more frequently. Additionally, African American males are at a greater risk for prostate cancer and heart disease, which TRT can potentially lead to long term.

    You're a G. Im glad you said to get your life in order before getting on trt. That is so important. I thought it was a quick fix. I started when I was fat and sick. The trt threw me all out of back because I wasn't healthy. My check engine lights were going off. It's like throwing jet fuel in a pinto. Get your routine down, train, get your blood pressure and blood sugar in check. Then you can add to your life.

    I'm on my TRT journey now and have taken my second TRT shot. I had ALL the symptoms for about two years but kept ignoring it. I went in for my yearly physical and had full blood work done, and it showed a significant drop in my testosterone level. My primary doctor sent me to a Urologist, who did the test and stated I needed to be on TRT. He stated that this is a growing issue with men starting in their 20s, and I did the right thing by coming to a doctor and not trying to do the online route because a growing number of people are having heart attacks and strokes because of their lack of medical knowledge. I did a lot of TRT research independently and made the right decision for myself. I go to the office every two weeks and take 200ml for now. I don't even feel the shot in the upper buttock area. Soon, I will be doing the shots on my own. I'm 54 years old, a certified personal trainer as a side hustle, and have been lifting weights/working out since the late 80s. Since my second dose, my sleep has improved; this has been a major issue for over 9 months. I can't wait for the other benefits to kick in.

    If you’re not a middle aged man who already had kids theres no reason to be on trt. That’s a cycle. If it’s not prescribed by a doctor for “testosterone replacement therapy “ you’re on a cycle. I’m 50 and my urologist prescribed it because I told him my “woody” was gone. My numbers were in the 200’s. Trt brought me to 890. It’s not a quick fix like a regular cycle. You’ll have more energy, brain clarity and wake up with morning wood. The strength, fat loss ect is minimal. It’s nothing like steroid cycles, trt is 6 m and then you’re reevaluated and onto another trt session. People keep confusing the two. A cycle put people in 4000 levels and up. That’s abuse and nowhere near the same. Mine got up to 1200 before because I was using shiajit also. My dr freaked out. You will not look like a bodybuilder because you’re on trt. That’s not what it does. It definitely improves your life if you’re middle aged but don’t expect miracles. Your health insurance pays 100% of it if it’s for medical reasons like depression or impotence. I never paid one cent.

    • @ky6632

      @kevinsamuelsghost685 Average age of death for men in America is 72. So by 37, you will technically be middle aged. Each generation is different. Ours is lower. So get checked first and change your lifestyle first. I for example do meet the criteria of comment. Had 3 kids, late 30's. Even after 12 months of lifestyle change and building my body back, I still have lower levels.

      I am with you 100%. I'm on my second dose, and I went to a Urologist, and I have all the symptoms. My number failed to 160, and I was doing everything. In the gym, pumping weight and taking the supplements that were proven to boost testosterone levels a little, but it wasn't happening. Yes, my pipe wasn't working, no matter how many rock-hard pills I took. I even tried the honey packs, but no luck. The worst of the symptoms was the poor sleep for close to 9 months. Since my second dose, I have slept great and have no weekly night sweets. You mentioned cycle...this is NOT a cycle but a lifetime commitment, and you can't have children while you are on TRT. It is just like someone taking insulin for the rest of their life because they are diabetic. Our bodies have stopped or slowed the process within us, making our own testosterone for many reasons.

      If it’s prescribed by a doctor you’ll have bloodwork done every 3-6m. There’s no side effects if it’s not being abused. No legit dr is going to let your numbers get too high. In fact , if your initial blood test shows that you’re in the normal range they won’t even prescribe it. My dr won’t anyway, I sent some co workers and their labs were in the normal ranges. The dr wouldn’t give them trt . Taking trt when you don’t medically need it is abuse. It’s replacing what is missing. That’s all.

Again rest, nutrition, stress, environmental factors, etc. I’m encouraging us to exhaust these options before jumping on TRT. There’s a reason our bodies are governed. I understand science. I also understand it’s not wise to bully our bodies unless doctors authentically identify there’s a “health concern “ and TRT is the end all be all.

      Look at women when they hit menopause. What we are experiencing with the processed food, environment and lifestyle is the male equivalent of hitting menopause if you don’t take care of yourself. As far as kids, look at their levels compared to their sizes and they definitely have those problems. Look at kids that get exercise and eat plenty of healthy options from 6-10 versus an indoor kid who has low to no activity and eats like shit or under eats. Why do you think so many of those kids with emotional issues tend to look like little marshmallows and they all eat junk food?

    • @MrTyakaflex
      @MrTyakaflex Місяць тому

      Wrong. There are women on TRT also. I actually know one and it doesn't make her look like a guy. She's on a dose equivalent to what a woman should have. Now if you research hypogonadism, you'll see that children who don't make enough sex hormones eventually don't experience puberty. It's all based on sex, age and if your body is producing an adequate amount. You don't have to believe it though, keep doing you homie but if you want to test it out, ask a doctor for meds to drastically lower your testosterone or research ways to lower it and 6 months later report back on how you feel.

      @MrTyakaflex first I'm going to assume that you don't have a medical degree and second I wasn't commenting about people who have legitimate medical issues but I was trying to say that women and children have naturally low levels of testosterone and don't experience the symptoms that Mike (who I'm also sure isn't a doctor) spoke of and just in case you don't know before the onset of puberty children have virtually no sex hormones in fact it's the production of sex hormones that initiates puberty

      @@andrewsherman2398So let's look at Estrogen. Men have naturally low levels of Estrogen; so low that Endocrinologists will have them take the Estrogen SENSITIVE test over the regular test that women take. Being that men have naturally low Estrogen and don't experience the Brain Fog, Mood, Hot Flashes and other issues that women with low Estrogen experience, does that mean they're full of crap and low Estrogen doesn't really cause those issues?
