There's a speed cable option for the same kind of speedo. More practical, and a lot more accurate. Cheers🍻
Nice work dudes!!
Thanks Man 👍
An old bike of mine had the magnets placed in the Allen bolt holes, no glue and they never moved. Don’t know if that’s a possibility for you?
Wow that’s amazing. I would have thought they would come out. We haven’t glued them yet, so that’s a possibility for sure. Thanks for reaching out 👍
Great build! I am thinking about putting the same Speedo on my bike too. Can you reccommend this one?
For the price you can’t go wrong. One thing to watch out for is the oil light. This version doesn’t have an oil pressure light. If we were ordering it again, we would make sure it did.
@@cafechronicles people have hooked up the oil pressure light to one of the gear wires since they’re not used, 6th gear in my case.
Did you test the accuracy of the tachometer? I have mine hooked up to a coil like yours but rpms never go past around 4000 rpms.
Oh and my bike is a 90 Kawasaki zephyr 550
We did a clumsy test, with me driving behind. But it seemed very close. Steve
