I got my pilot license in 1969 flying out of the Albrook AFB Aero Club in Panama. Started flying Cessna 150’s then we got two Piper Cherokee 140’s for our club. Almost all of our cross country flights were into undeveloped grass fields near some of the larger towns in Panama. We also had a T-34 Air Force Trainer at the club. i got a few hours in it but never got checked out. Due to a couple accidents the Air Force shut down our Aero Club in 1971. I had a fish hook injury to my left eye in 1972 which ended my flying. I really enjoy watching these videos. Brings back fond memories.
I'm glad you enjoy the videos! More are on the way. I am a flight instructor now full time, so finding time to film/edit personal adventures is a little hard!
Great Video! Don't change a thing! Finally, a video without gimmicks, music, speed-ups, or camera views of the alternator belt for the entire flight. Thanks also for turning the radios DOWN and letting us listen to that sweet-sounding Lycoming! Perfect panel/outside video balance. i just subscribed, and I'm gonna have to get over to Graham and try the BBQ! Well-done!
3 year old video that popped up for me. Glad it did! Love to see vids without all the editing and glam-work. I would like to offer one tidbit of advice....hopefully this is not longer happening (after 3 years of flying)....on take off..make sure to NOT grip the throttle lever. More than a few pilots have had their seat latches fail (on take off) and their seat slam back. When this happens they were griping the throttle and of course this pulled out the power on climb out. Typical just as the nose is rising. I am sure this has been corrected after 3 years. Loved the vid!
I did 90% of all my ppl training in this great Training aircraft the Cherokee 140,solid,forgiving,stable..that was 1989..many flights ago..good work young man keep up the good work..ps I fly the Robin DR400 now..happy landings!!
Thanks for watching! I love my Cherokee for sure! I’m currently working on my CFI certificate at the moment. I should have it in my hands by mid February.
Just caught this random surfing, glad I did. Great flight Captain, great video too. That's what it's all about, pilots don't have music blaring through their headphones (well, not like co-pilots do) LOL
The Cherokee 140 is a great aircraft. A very good training aircraft for learning spinning. The PA28 will also cruise on the 0320 Lycoming at 2500r.p.m at 100kts. all day.
the guy i fly with has the same paint color and model just different tail number (hence my user pic) i really love this aircraft my favorite probably going to buy a 152 once i finish my flight training.
Were you aware that, while filming, you had about 11,000 passengers riding with you. This begs the question; Do you never talk to your passengers? Just wondering. 🙄

Thanks for the kind words William! Thanks for the sub! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Great airplane, I learned to fly with piper Cherokee 140 too. Good video, simple, clear, I feel flying again like a real flight is

Simple videos--without added imagery and music--are the best. (In fact, adding music to a video will guarantee many will not like it.)
My cherokee has the same color scheme! Saw this and was like what is my plane doing on youtube lol. Nice work!
I love the original paint scheme! Thanks for watching!
The alternator when you shutdown... Great video, thank you.

Darn good airplanes. Learned in 1977 in Pipers. Very good.
awesome video, nice flying
Nicely done, so tell Me, I'm guessing You figured out the Climb Rate Issue You were having, looks good.. Thanks for Sharing! :D
Good video except for the head cam GoPro. Got airsick from all the head movements. Please use a fixed mounted camera. Overall a great video
How was Claytons? Should plan a trip to Taylor Tx, Louie Millers BBQ is right next to the airport...the meca of all things Texas BBQ!!
Brian McGee It was really good! It's definitely worth a trip out there for lunch. I'll have to add Millers to my list of food fly-ins to try!
If you ever get the chance come to Put-in-Bay. It is beautiful in the summer or winter. The airport is 3w2

Prefer a static camera rather than head mounted
Nice landing, dude!
Thanks!
Wouldn't mind getting my license. Wonder how long would it take me to fly it from Atlanta to Charleston SC?
About 3 hrs in a Cessna 150. 9 minutes in an SR-71. Depends on the aircraft.
Dont know how you can understand ATC when they speak that fast or is it because I don't understand the lingo
Great video, what is your typical Cruise speed?
The POH says 125 mph TAS on average during calculations. Thanks for watching!
Very Docile Aircraft
I love the way the Cherokee handles!
