You will still have an issue with steering unless you raise the engine up a bit. Our kits take out all the guesswork and are a much better deal than buying all the parts separately once you realize you need them.

I put a 5.3 LM7 in my 68 C10. If you are doing a swap like me the factory oil pan doesn’t need replacing.
If swapping the pan into a car where you are unsure of the fit/clearance - Why not just always choose the lowest profile option by default?
