I have installed many of the chinese pans. Never had a problem. And honestly, if you need instructions you probably should be doing something different.
The rough spots are just burnt sand during the casting process. The molder didn't remove those bits of sand or glue that hold the cores in the sand mold. It's very common in almost anything cast.
I bought a pan from ebay I didn't know it didn't have a oil sensor so now I have to pull the pan out 😊 and the oil filter screw is different you have to use the original
Nope! They are generally much worse than the Holley. Which motor mounts do you have? I’ve used the adjustable ones and moved it back enough to clear before.
Tried to install this into my 1989 gta Firebird, the knockoff. With all Holley stuff the sides of the pan that go to the edge rub against the k member. Just a heads up
The lighter color is because its cheaper aluminum 319 or 356 are light colored the more magnesium it has the darker it gets almag takes heat cycles better and takes a impact without fracturing better you can bend Almag and 356. 319 is not very malleable and expands more than Almag or 356 when heated
Id go for the knockoff b/c it has more built into it. You save b/c your not paying for the holley name, which wont be seen when its installed.

You had me until you started comparing the box qualities
Lol, that's fair! Gotta be thorough man.. Same box would further indicate the same factory.
Now this item sells for around 120-160
go ahead and pay $500 more for your warranty card bub

You don’t need instructions. Be a man!
