Hell Yes!! I don't think Cantrell gets the respect he dedeserves as the genius songwriter and bandleader he is. When you think of AIC, ya think of Layne Staley 1st; for him to have been able to keep the wheels on that band the way he has is nothing short of improbable, if not amazing.
My wife and I are in our 50s, and Alice in Chains is our favorite band. We have had the luxury of seeing them several times in Cincinnati. The best was at the very small venue Taft Theater.....Keep on Rockin, so we can keep on Rollin....CHEERS to ALL.

I was 14 years old when grunge hit, so I grew up on Alice In Chains. When Bill first joined the band, I thought it was ridiculous. No one could replace Layne. But, all these years later Bill is still killing it. He turned out to be the perfect choice!
No one can replace Layne, nor should they. All William Duvall had to do is be himself and be his own voice, which he’s done since Day 1. He kills it every night. I’d rather see AIC carry on with William than not at all.
What happened to that kid that was from like Ohio that ripped …. He frighteningly looked like Staley and sang AIC tunes like he was possessed. Not disappointed in this guy but watching him perform is hard
Jeeze. Seeing Zakks arms makes me want my shoulder to get better so I can get back into working out again. Its also good to see him using a Les Paul again.
Yooo, now that would be awesome!!! I assume you've heard his "Book of Shadows" then. I heard it playing in the background years and forever ago and asked who it was; 😆 when they said, "Zakk Wylde" ... I said gtfo that's not Zakk Wylde. Turned out, I was the one who had to gtfo.
He is a pretty healthy dude. He quit booze over ten years ago and has always eaten healthy and lifted weights. He had that scare with a blood clot but other than that he’s a pretty clean living dude
Yeah it seems as though allot of the image is, I hate to say it but, an act.. don't even ride a motorcycle from what I understand! But I'm okay with that, I love the guy any way but I would love him if he was all clean cut and proper like Eric Clapton Al Di meola or Randy Rhodes.
Great video, thanks for posting. Quick story: Met Zakk a few years ago. He made direct eye contact, shook my hand and we had a short, sweet chat. He signed a guitar I auctioned off for charity with no hesitation at all. He took a picture with me then gave me a huge hug. Pure class, kindness and talent. I will remember that brief interaction for the rest of my life. Zakk you are the GOAT!
I've met him too. Took pics with him in my uniform. He signed the pic a few years later. His security gut Phil Sciulo is an awesome guy too. Very pro law enforcement.
Awesome. We saw Alice in Chains on 10-13-23. Took our kids with us. The band was excellent. Jerry Cantrell played everything that we're used to hearing. Our family had a great time
So cool Jerry let zakk do the lead solo! Awesome would've loved to been there. To bad missed zakk Wylde on the 2023 pantera tour he filled in dimebags spot!

Jerry is showing Zakk up with the nomadic long hair and beard look.🧔♀️🤘🏾🎸
Alice N Chains we love you.
That's the longest Zakk went without doing pinch harmonics😊
I am so happy that he didn't play any pinch harmonics and I love Zakk
Thank You Mr. Duvall for carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders for all these years and letting us hear this band again 🤘
I think it’s obvious that the hard shoes to fill influenced zakk’s vocals too
Yes!!!! 🙌
Awesome. Zakk and Mike on stage together again.
Oh, I forgot he was Ozzy's bass player.
I was thinking the same thing. Didn't Mike Inez leave Ozzie to go play with Alice when Mike Star was removed?
