You know - If the Jedi weren't basically too blind to understand they were being used by the Republic as little more than errand boys/attack dogs, THE scenario here like the Separatist crisis is exactly when you would need neutral, level headed, calm, yet compassionate negotiators, with a reputation of results to help both sides talk out their differences, whom are motivated by avoiding bloodshed for the sake of the peoples of the galaxy, and thus everyone woulda avoided a whole lotta carnage. It's sad really...the Clone Wars era a time where the Jedi were needed to do what they were there to do (Be peacekeepers, negotiators, guardians of peace, and all around trying to inspire others to do good), but they had become too accustomed to the stench of corruption, and thus not seeing the Republic was dragging them by the leach to a whole lotta trouble. The fact they lost their way, and failed to help weave peace here is just tragic.
From the beginning, the Jedi treated the Separatists as an outside, existential threat to the Republic and not a rival and legitimate faction within the Republic itself with valid grievances against the Core worlds. If they were peacekeepers, they would have sought to arbitrate between the two sides as they would have between two rival political camps in the Senate. Instead, they straight up yeeted turbolasers and clone troopers at them.
@@Killzoneguy117 Exactly. It's rather strange really to think about - Maybe the fact Maul showed up shook them so badly they saw it as too convenient to not be some Sithy business? The Jedi did seem to despite their decline prior to the Separatists becoming a thing have a keen interest in peace.
Yeah it's like the governing body over the Jedi were all emulating Revan, but without an opponent as easy to dedicate oneself to the destruction of, as the Mandalorians
@@lucalinadreemur9448 The Mandalorian crusades probably did contribute to the Jedi Order going lightsabres-a-blazing mode. "Mandalorian space" was located in the outer-rim after all. Due to Coruscant being the location of the Jedi order HQ for quite sometime, it made it very easy for the Jedi to also be tainted by the Core world mentality of "those savages from the outer-rim", especially if you consider the Mandalorians, and their rather brutal crusaders. In a sense - Its like the Jedi order was half-awake during history class, and didn't realize things change: No longer is that where the Mandalorians hang out at, ready to strike it, and instead you have poor, very abused systems supplying all the raw-materials, but not getting much in return. Ergo - Failing to live with the times to understand why the modern day Outer-rim systems had a legitimate grievance with the Republic, and thus seeing them as actually having a fair point. Thus the tragedy of the Jedi Order: At such a time as that of extreme polarization and factions forming as opposing movements to one another: A neutral fair party, as well as diplomats, negotiators, and calmer heads are a vital resource to stop the situation from escalating into violence. Unfortunately, they did not perform the very duty they were most likely the best fit for, and we all know how that worked out.
Separatists: *Don't like the Republic, form Separatist alliance* Sith: *Secretly take over and let corrupt mega-corporations run the show* Separatists: "Wait, no"
The Council is not the ultimate power of the Separatists, their decision-making powers are equal to those of the parliament. When one of them vote for the application of a decision, the other one can put his veto if its unacceptable for him. Again, its a Confederation so nobody have more power than the others, the only exceptions are Dooku and Grievous since they are the supreme leaders of political and military institutions. The Council seem more important only because they are prime targets since they know a lot of highly strategic informations and the Republic can use them as hostages to force their corporations to stop any support to the Separatist Alliance. So, yes, the Council have some privileges and they are heavily guarded, which may make them seem more important than the Parliament, but its only to prevent them to be captured and because they have a big influence over all the Confederacy since it is their corporations that supply the Separatists with almost all of their droids armies and some new technologies, not because they are the leaders of the Confederation.
2020 taught us that about 72 million people in the US wanted our government to cater to corporations... the same corporate people they elected in 2016. All the corporate people had to do is say they were helping the working class even though the only policies passed were passed to help corporations. It’s sad but there are a lot of people in the US that prefer to be led by a Sith-like leader. Especially one that treats non-white humans like the “aliens” were treated in the empire.
Honestly this is making me want to see a series/movie about the Separatists side of the Clone wars story to further explore how the Clone Wars affected the planets that are aligned with the CIS and how each planet got screwed over in different ways to further show how tragic it was for them as was the Republics.
I believe that separatist crisis would still happen regardless of the sith and the Droid army. It just wouldn't have been as long and as deadly since it would be small planetary defense forces fighting each other.

To be honest, I suspect this was deliberately done by Palpatine in order to better re-integrate Separatist worlds after the end of the Clone Wars and to discredit any idea of rebellion against the Empire because people would have such a bad taste in their mouth from the last rebellion against him.
Also, I would like to see a Separatist Civil War. Just imagine it happened after Mina Bonteri(mother of Lux) was assassinated and some smart Separatist military officials(who clearly hated the Corporate factions like Trade Federation and wanted a truce that Bonteri offered so they have more time to rebuild their armies) discovered it was Dooku ordered the assassination. There will be a coup and uprisings around the Separatist worlds but that's another story for another time.
To be honest, if Cao Cao was there, he would join the Separatist Council and leave to make his own movement to spite Palpatine only to get whacked by Lord Vader.
This is why I personally call them 'the Separatists Coalition' in place of "Separatists Alliance" Coalitions are just temporary alliances. I also call them the C.I.P. 'Confederacy of Independent Planets' not "Systems" Because "CIS" is just too close to CSI, and it's more accurate since planets are individuals within solar systems. It's not likely that an entire solar system would unanimously agree to join the Confederacy just because one or more planets in a solar system wanted to join while the rest didn't.
I don't know, I think I may have joined neither side. Depending where I lived i may have been forced to pick one or the other like you just said. Although once the rise of the empire occured I'd probably join straight up with them, not realizing what a mistake it's be in about 5-10 years.
The CIS: Were so bad, we even hate ourselves. XD. Also, 8:48-8:52: Reluctantly? More like willingly and happily with how the Jedi and Clones helped them and showed them why they were better then the CIS, like Lux said to Ahsoka.
Palpatine started everything😂 if anything he's the one enemy everyone should have been against but everyone was a puppet. The entire universe got played lmao
For basically hating themselves.. the Confederates that hated... the Confederates must not have hated the rest all that much. It didnt stop them from fighting Republic forces and didnt, least that I've heard, spark enough ire an hate for them to ACTIVELY attack other Separatists Some these seem to have only suceded due to purely admin reasons. Makes me also wonder if any ever rejoined or wanted to, or would've had they had a change of heart about the Republic other then outlined Onderon
Larger hitbox makes them less effective, especially against mass-fire tactics. They also take more food and require more space in starships or starfighters. Also, humans might be more adaptable--this is one of the things they are known for, with the other being their enormous numbers advantage over pretty much any other species and the fact that all their other attributes are pretty much average.
Then you would be attacked by both the Republic and the Separatists unless you made an alliance with either one. Neutral worlds won’t help you because you are still a Separatist movement and thus a target to the Republic. Teaming up with the Republic gives you an ally, though I doubt your citizens would like that and would fear the Republic would eventually drag them back in. Teaming up with the Separatists is counter-productive, so I say it would only be a matter of time until they temporarily teamed up to take you down.
Also, I have one question. Where are you getting these source of information? I’ve been looking through Star Wars Wiki and I’m trying to learn more information about this.
Hmm. This is a good one. If I was ruler of my own star system and had to decide which faction to side with. Both side isn't promising at all. So we'll try to stay neutral during the Separatist Crisis, but be militarily prepared for anything that'll enter our sovereign space. But in time of crisis, I'll side with the Republic. Extra star destroyer fleets, extra reinforcements, medical access, hyper tradelinks, and nice Republic military hardware's for me soldiers to use cause why not. Lmao! The Republic got some nice arsenals. But in the end, here comes Emperor Palpatine big dick energy! Wait, hold up!? Is there a redo on this? Cause I forgot to read the last print! 🥴
Probably The Confederacy Should Have Made Official The Fact That The Separatist Council Was Just An Emergency War Mesure And The Confederacy Would Work Properly During Peacetime. That's How Most Working Confederancies Work. If They Announced It Officially To The Public The Public Would Have Remained Calm (Alderaan Wouldn't Have Revolted) If They Knew That After The War The Confederacy Would Have Been What They Believed It Would Have Been. During Peacetime Evrything Works Properly. During War Some Measures Get Ignored To Boost The War Effort.
The only thing the Separatist are the GOOD guys are those people and organic armies(like the Umbarans) are joining to the CIS yet they fighting for their homes rather than serving the Corporate-led CIS. It kinda reminds me to Germany under Nazi government in WW2 where some German soldiers & officials(some were veterans) were fighting for their country to redeem their loss from the previous war but they hated Hitler and the Nazi government. Heck, even "Desert Fox" Field Marshall Erwin Rommel hated Hitler as well.
It's ironic that the people who were fighting injustices and decades of exploiting their resources had leaders that caused those Injustices and exploitation. Bruh...I like their cause, but don't be like...a certain type of political party that says one thing and goes back on their word
Id want to see a galaxy were planets are self sufficient and engage in trade for growth. Being totally reliant on the other worlds seems to screw you in the end in the SW galaxy as some sith will just kick the janga tower over from time to time.
Problem: Richer and more powerful planets will cause trouble for the weaker ones. Eventually an organized coalition of planets like the Republic would have to be formed.

Heck, even "Desert Fox" Field Marshall Erwin Rommel hated Hitler as well.
do you guys upload simultanously by accident or is this a thing between you? or is it just the best time to upload star wars content?
I choose Maul's death watch
Separatist hate separatists is this hateception
is Munalist or Scipio home of the Banking Clan?
It's ironic that the people who were fighting injustices and decades of exploiting their resources had leaders that caused those Injustices and exploitation. Bruh...I like their cause, but don't be like...a certain type of political party that says one thing and goes back on their word
It was at 66 comments before this one no need to thank me jedi
This seems counterintuitive
Do you also run a WW2 channel?
You should list your sources for the curious
No dislikes. Good

So no one liked their side?
Id want to see a galaxy were planets are self sufficient and engage in trade for growth. Being totally reliant on the other worlds seems to screw you in the end in the SW galaxy as some sith will just kick the janga tower over from time to time.
That is hard because hyperspace lanes are chains of planet and if someone block his system screw the whole lane.
Easier said than done
Problem: Richer and more powerful planets will cause trouble for the weaker ones. Eventually an organized coalition of planets like the Republic would have to be formed.
