- Watch live coverage as SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 rocket with 23 satellites for Elon Musk's Starlink internet service. Liftoff from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is scheduled to launch at 2:14 p.m. EDT (1814 UTC) on Monday, May 6. The first-stage booster making its 15th flight will land on SpaceX's drone ship 'Just Read the Instructions', stationed in the Atlantic Ocean, about eight and a half minutes into the flight.
The mission, designated Starlink 6-57, will be the 31st launch of Starlink satellites this year and the 46th flight of a Falcon 9 rocket in 2024
Commentary will be provided by Spaceflight Now's Will Robinson-Smith, starting approximately an hour prior to liftoff.

Beautiful camera work Pete! Another successful launch in the books!
Up, up, out and away...
Greetings from Lisbon, Portugal.
Seriusly, why were two diffrend rockets launching at the same time?
Not launching same time, starliner is later
Starliner won’t launch for another several hours, tune into SFN or NASA
Just for the hell of it!!
Same reason they have two Air Force One's. It's double the fun!
Because they CAN! 😂😂😂
So happy the Starliner is going to do a launch. The Starliner is going to be tested. I feel Starliner capsule will give our space missions the critical redundancy necessary .
That's very cool !
Great skim along the firmament 😄
I would think that by now all the cameras covering these launches would be perfectly set up, instead of these hazy shots.
Thanks!
Soooo looking forward to this launch
Wait… what??? The thing landing on a platform somewhere in the ocean???? How the hell did that happen
Those are the booster rockets coming back to be used again. There are 2 boosters for each falcon 9 launch.
Millions of man hours of hard work and engineering. That is the best answer you are going to get out of a UA-cam comment thread.
It's amazing!
@1:04:33 What was that that went whizzing by the Falcon Rocket? UFO? I saw it in 2 different viewpoints looking at the main engine burning, so it wasn't my eyes playing a trick.
Wow! All the doors are still on the Boing Space unit.😅
Always good to watch
Starlink offers three internet plans with different prices:
Internet: $110 per month with a $599 equipment fee
RV: $135 per month with a $599 equipment fee
Business: $500 per month with a $2,500 equipment fee
Making dinner waiting for launch. I see it from my yard. Dinner and a show!
That is what I need to know
Cool

Go Falcon Go SpaceX ❤❤❤
So how come that foil stuff doesn’t come flying off that thing as it shoots up into the sky at a zillion miles per second
Job well done👍👍👍
What direction is the rocket heading
What direction is it heading
"Go with God's speed, John Glenn".

At least this time they managed to not blow up....

You over talk too much
Elon Musk, the visionary, ... unbelievable, until someone makes it reality.
Elon Musk had nothing to do with this lol!

Will this launch be a Southwest trajectory?
