We saw Alicent be nervous asking to see the baby right after she gave birth to check if her child was legitimate. If they were, Alicent would have no reason to refuse to marry Haelena to one of her sons. Rhaenyra's bad behaviour tainted people's opinion of her and doomed her kids. I think that if she was honest with Alicent from the start, she would have helped her. She went against her own dad for her and regretted it.

See in these moments it’s sad, because you can tell he is scared, like yes he killed Luke but they had already crowned Aegon and usurped the throne, the war had started. Aemond didn’t start the war, but he did ensure it couldn’t turn back, and he is totally alone, he is quite similar to Loki in that regard that he always ends up alone and looking to be the villain, when he is solely trying to protect himself and his family, tragic story lines.
This is so amazing scene, Phia Saban steals the show. She is seeing all the story of the Dance in her dreams. The end of the war, that she will never meet Aegon again, but at least she can see him succeed and return to place where she just stand now with Aemond. And that makes her happy, because Helaena probably liked Aegon in a way. She also see Rhaenyra will became monster next season and that monster will cost her death, but accept the terms, because avoid it wouldn't change anything. And that her death will ultimately bring defeat of Rhaenyra, death of Dreamfyre and other dragons and victory of her husband/brother. All that you could imagine said in that little smirk in her eyes, Phia Saban is queen of acting.
Depressing part for her/greens is that the victory if hollow, because he only has the throne for a very small time before the Blacks win and put Rhaenyra son on the iron throne. Though this does make me happy as I am team black all the way.

On the other side Rhaenyra, entitled and irresponsible princess choosen as heir just to Daemon didn't became king, don't deserve to win and rule, because with her original plan to put Strong bastards on the throne she would eventually start another civil war, probably between her sons with Daemon and Strong boys. Anyway her line should take a throne, as they are choosen line of succession. For me ending of the dance is good compromise, Aegon could defeat Rhaenyra, but line of Otto didn't end up on throne.

It's really good when they redefined Helaena's role in the show. Because in the book, she's the least exciting, least interesting looking, depressed and died. But in the show, she started slow and suddenly she has this Bran + Melisandre magic. The only only only bad thing is she didn't get to ride that majestic royal dragon Dreamfyre

Green Seers can preceive the past, present, future and as seen in GoT influence them in some minor aspects while you can only see the future in dragon dreams which are unchangeable. Dragon Dreams are basically the only reason that House Targaryen survived as the last Dragon Lord House when the Doom of Valyria came.

They never really had a romance. I think Aemond had a soft affection for Helaena, bc he too felt strange and disconnected from the rest of his family and siblings. Helaena bc she had strange dreams she couldn’t understand, and Aemond bc he struggled to bond with a dragon until his early teens, unlike his siblings who all bonded their dragons very young. But I don’t think there was ever real, romantic connection between them. I do wish the writers had spent time exploring their connection a bit more though. It’d of been nice to see Helaena have genuine support after the Blood and Cheese incident.

You don't understand anything. She isn't helping Daemon, she is helping him to grave knowing he will take Aemond with him, so both people responsible for Jahaerys dies. Of course she sees Aegon as king, it's her brother/husband, father of her children and unlike Alicent, Helaena knows meaning of word loyalty. And she didn't say it to torn Aemond, only to scare him so he won't force her to violence. And she doesn't see things she wants, she can't change the future and her dreams. Aemond has closest bond from family with her, that's also why she speaks to so openly and don't hide herself.

I love that Helena got this moment but how are her visions suddenly clear when before she would just babble random words.
Prophetic gifts are like that. Sometimes you speak in parables, other times it comes together out right.
