i've been struggling with anorexia for the last year and a binge eating disorder for the last few months. i havent gotten out of the house in a year, except for to go to school. i've had no motivation to do anything. i just got home from hanging out with some friends at a pasta restaurant and i ate a healthy meal, and i came home to do this. i've been trying to do cassey's videos for a while but i always put myself down when i couldn't do what she's doing. i just got done doing this workout and it was the first time i've actually pushed myself all the way through it and i couldn't feel better and more proud of myself right now. and my ass is burning! so thank you, cassey :)

I've had pretty bad body image for the past couple years. I've never been overweight (the most I ever weighed was 121 and at 5' 8" i was perfectly normal), but I've always thought I could weigh just a little less. 117, 115, 110, and eventually my lowest of 105. In just 2 weeks, Cassey has helped me start liking my body again. I'm still a little strict about my calorie intake, but I'm slowly learning to relax about it. I'm up to 107, which is my current comfy range, but hopefully, I'll be able to get back to around 115-120. Only this time, it'll be in muscle!
This was one of the first videos that I started with and I remember exactly how hard it was at the beginning😂. This was 2,5 years ago and you know what? I do yoga every day and a workout routine every two or three days. I'm so happy with my body and it feels so good to be fit! Keep going guys, it's worth it!!🌞

it's insane how effective pilates are... especially if you're maybe only 15/20 lbs "overweight" or just to tone. ive been doing blogilates daily again for the last 4 weeks, the Victorias secret abs and the 6 minute thighs & 6 minute booty, and the difference is just crazy. before this I'd been doing over an HOUR on the elliptical & weights/diet, lost 8 lbs, but no real difference in my waist/legs. but now, 4 weeks, 1/2 off my waist, 1/4 inch off my thighs. just crazy.
***** I've been doing the Victorias secret abs first, then 6 minute thighs, 6 minute butt, a short break to rehydrate, ect, then the abs and sometimes the thighs again. it would be just as effective I think to do the full set in the a.m. or afternoon, then repeat one or two of them in the evening as well instead of clumping them all together. because it's building that lean muscle that's so effective. building muscle, especially with with pilates it seems, burns so many calories all day/night, so you're losing so much body fat at the same time as you're toning. I think that's what's so effective about it tbh.
Omg you're so right! I also feel like squats work the quads more for me than the glutes. This may also be coz we're not activating our glutes properly so definitely need these isolated glute exercises to proper activate them!
I’ve been doing this for two weeks now, five times out of seven days! and it’s insane, but I already have progress. my butt used to fold over my thigh a bit, but now it’s lifted! I occasionally do another workout video after this one, and take an hour walk each day, but otherwise, that’s all I’ve been doing. a maximum of 10-15 minutes butt exercise each day... I didn’t even really change my diet... crazy!!!! can’t wait to see the progress after two months!!!!

I don't know if you still do this, but do you, or did you do this everyday, I'm thinking about doing it every morning, did this help you be stronger and get bugger glutes?
I have the same issue with a lot of the workouts. I think it's just the I have very little strength in my arms and shoulders, so it might be the same thing for you. Just keep working at it and our arms and the rest of our bodies should get stronger in time :)

Yay I got through the full beginners calendar! I struggled a lot of my workouts today and IDK why, may be because I felt crappy about waking up at 4 p.m. and it killed my confidence in these workouts. I usually do really good on workouts that only need a mat, but today this was just killing me. My arms just didn't want to hold me up at all. 😂 Ah well, I'm ready for February!
Just do her HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts. She should have a bunch under a playlist on her channel. Those melt the fat away. Workouts like this one are to tighten and tone muscles so that you don't look flabby once the fat is gone.

You could either do it 2x in a row, or get yourself some ankle weights, they reeeally make a difference when you're getting advanced and pure body weight workouts don't do it anymore.
19th of February calendar workout is done! I was so close to quitting half an hour ago, but I pushed through and it's awesome how proud pushing through can make you feel!

it's insane how effective pilates are... especially if you're maybe only 15/20 lbs "overweight" or just to tone. ive been doing blogilates daily again for the last 4 weeks, the Victorias secret abs and the 6 minute thighs & 6 minute booty, and the difference is just crazy. before this I'd been doing over an HOUR on the elliptical & weights/diet, lost 8 lbs, but no real difference in my waist/legs. but now, 4 weeks, 1/2 off my waist, 1/4 inch off my thighs. just crazy.

Me too! Before i was weight lifting and doing some cardio like running and i noticed better, more and faster results now with blogilates
***** I've been doing the Victorias secret abs first, then 6 minute thighs, 6 minute butt, a short break to rehydrate, ect, then the abs and sometimes the thighs again. it would be just as effective I think to do the full set in the a.m. or afternoon, then repeat one or two of them in the evening as well instead of clumping them all together. because it's building that lean muscle that's so effective. building muscle, especially with with pilates it seems, burns so many calories all day/night, so you're losing so much body fat at the same time as you're toning. I think that's what's so effective about it tbh.

Omg you're so right! I also feel like squats work the quads more for me than the glutes. This may also be coz we're not activating our glutes properly so definitely need these isolated glute exercises to proper activate them!

I’ve been doing this for two weeks now, five times out of seven days! and it’s insane, but I already have progress. my butt used to fold over my thigh a bit, but now it’s lifted! I occasionally do another workout video after this one, and take an hour walk each day, but otherwise, that’s all I’ve been doing. a maximum of 10-15 minutes butt exercise each day... I didn’t even really change my diet... crazy!!!! can’t wait to see the progress after two months!!!!

I have the same issue with a lot of the workouts. I think it's just the I have very little strength in my arms and shoulders, so it might be the same thing for you. Just keep working at it and our arms and the rest of our bodies should get stronger in time :)

Its because youre putting too much of your body weight in those areas, try putting more weight into the leg on the ground it will help:)

Yay I got through the full beginners calendar! I struggled a lot of my workouts today and IDK why, may be because I felt crappy about waking up at 4 p.m. and it killed my confidence in these workouts. I usually do really good on workouts that only need a mat, but today this was just killing me. My arms just didn't want to hold me up at all. 😂 Ah well, I'm ready for February!

pretty much just run and do some of her thigh and butt workouts.
Just do her HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts. She should have a bunch under a playlist on her channel. Those melt the fat away. Workouts like this one are to tighten and tone muscles so that you don't look flabby once the fat is gone.

You could either do it 2x in a row, or get yourself some ankle weights, they reeeally make a difference when you're getting advanced and pure body weight workouts don't do it anymore.

19th of February calendar workout is done! I was so close to quitting half an hour ago, but I pushed through and it's awesome how proud pushing through can make you feel!
i can't believe this is so hard!!! at the end, sweat was already pouring down my forehead!! good workout! but i lack space in my room so it's hard for me to fully extend my legs sideways. i don't feel any butt ache now even though it was really challenging! im doing 16 november's calendar today haha
