Hey! Ive been making coffee cola for a while now, before cocacola released it in can version in 2019 (we had it for 2 years already). My recipe is kind of personal, so adjust to your liking, but i take for every 400 ml of cocacola i add one shot of espresso. I usually prepare it in a cup that has twice the servings, with NON SUGAR COKE. Also, itll foam, the "crema" that will start forming tastes super super bad, but it carries with itself the bitterness, so you end up with coke, but with a note of coffee in the background. I make it with a light to medium roast 100% arabica. The idea behind it is that it should be coke but with a really appealing coffee aftertaste. Try it, dial it to taste and tell me if it worked!! I love it!
I tried putting cinnamon in while brewing coffee and the ground cinnamon does not work, but if you would like a subtle cinnamon flavor try about half a stick of cinnamon in the filter with your ground coffee, it is a more gentle hint of cinnamon that then tastes nice with a little sweetness and/or milk added if you wish. Thanks for trying the hacks so we don't have too!
I remember one summer there was a special drink at Cost Coffee that consisted of one shot espresso, cherry coke, ice and maraschino cherry. It was not that bad, actually.

Ah, an “I tasted this so you don’t have to video”. Lovely. Actually, I would love to see a head-to-head of Morgan and James tasting things, just to see the expressions! 😂
For the cinnamon flavored coffee, I think it could work if you use a whole stick of cinnamon. I've done that with whole cardamom (about one pod per "cup" of coffee) lightly crushed to open it up and just popped into the basket with the coffee grounds. Turns out delicious!

You could get a better result by sealing in the inside of the cone with something like chocolate melts. Like, coat the inside of the cone with actual chocolate and then set it, before throwing in the latte
For the coke hack, I was informed by a friend that somewhere (I forgot which country) there’s a drink that’s cold brew mixed with lemon(ade?) and/or coke which apparently makes for a refreshing summer drink. We proceeded to make an espresso mocktail-ish version of that with passionfruit syrup (blasphemous, I know) and espresso shaken with ice, topped with coke and a strip of lemon peel with lemon oil expressed over it (or just rub the rim with it). It was way better than it had any right being, and I spent the better part of a week on a caffeine high, highly recommended. Also I love your sense of humour :D
The key to the cone latte is using tempered chocolate. Pour into the cone to fill, dump it out, dip the rim and cool in the fridge. It works well with cooled shaken espresso drinks without the mess/dripping
@@morgandrinkscoffee you don’t HAVE to temper it really to get it to seal, tempering just makes it firmer and shinier. It should work with just melting chocolate that’s solidified!
I add cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice to my coffee while brewing but I don't add a ton and I do a pour over, it comes out pretty yummy! Cinnamon isn't sweet on it's own though so helps to sweeten your coffee a little. This looked like fun even though the hacks were weird! :)

Cinnamon comes in a few varieties, I strongly recommend using fresh sticks of Ceylon Cinnamon, for its more novel flavor...and grinding it just before your brew, maybe with your beans....ideally with a light or medium roast.
I LOVE putting pumpkin spice in my filter with grounds to make pumpkin spice coffee. It works and it is delicious
I watch a lot of the "professional reviews 5-Minute Crafts" type of videos, and this is genuinely the most positive one I've ever seen. Also, you've gained a subscriber! Watched a couple of vids, and love your content!

Okay, but low key, I love that toilet paper roll holder that you have. Soooo much easier than those ones with the spring in them that you have to put in the holes!
You can put a piece of cling film or a plastic circle round the bottom to catch drips on the cone, or use something like melty chocolate to seal it.
Reel paper sounds awesome! And the script was good, too. It'd be cool to see more youtubers sponsored by them.
So happy to find a barista UA-cam channel 🥰
I think that they were trying to make coffee jelly in the first back which is basically just coffee flavored jelly which is a popular dessert in Japan that is usually enjoyed during the summer time and it is really simple it is supposed to be just unflavored gelatin, coffee, sugar and, water and it is usually either cubed or in some kind of shape or just in a ramekin and it usually has half and half, heavy whipping cream or whipped cream
O. M. G. I will never forget when I lived in New Jersey in the late 1990s and Pepsi came out with this regional beverage called Pepsi Kona: Pepsi and coffee! I LOVED it! Unfortunately, it was short-lived, but I have mixed cola and coffee since then, and it brings back that great taste and those amazing memories!!!
