I agree. It's like they had a beautiful work of art with the open world and visuals and then the actual people who were to make it into a game with missions and characters just finger painted all over it lol. People call it far cry with blue people but the sad truth is so much of the gameplay and the mechanics are either generic or were done better even in far cry

Weapon variety, stealth, acting, etc. You can feel differently ofc, but even if Avatar is prettier I think far cry 6 even is a bit more fun. Again just my personal opinion. Nothing really happened in the world of Pandora. Was lush and pretty but that was all for the most part.
One of the most amazing and beautiful gaming worlds I have experienced. I felt like a navi, adventuring across pandora while opposing the hostile humans. And the exploration!! Its off the charts GREAT!! Exploring the floating mountains alone is unbelievable and a blast. And there are a plethora of other things to explore!
Man I have never fallen in and out of love with a game as quickly as Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. Everything that is there is great, but it's the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER
Honestly playing as the rda in the first game was awesome with all the vehicles and weapon unlocks,if they did that again they would of had anmuch better game

I am a huge fan of the Avatar movies so everything about this game makes me so happy. The dlc expanded on the main games story in a good way, I just wish they deepened the gameplay in some way. Either way, I enjoyed this expansion a lot

This game is absolutely gorgeous, it handles very well, flying and parkour are super fun, and overall it's very fun to play, especially if you like to craft and explore. However, the story is mid, NPCs are little more exciting than cardboard, most of the characters are flat, some minor quests are broken, and there are frame rate issues. I only really liked one character (guess who...) Overall it was definitely a good game, but nothing more. While playing it stuck me in many areas that if Ubisoft really wanted it, this could have been a fantastic game... But it's Ubisoft so that's a lot to ask.
Lot to ask? Ubisoft has made plenty of fantastic games that people still play today. Fans are toxic. It's like you guys are robots and repeat the exact same toxic things just to be a part of a group. smfh

Not everyone has low standards like you, the game is basically Far Cry with an Avatar skin. The fact that Ubisoft invested so little in marketing the game shows that they knew they had a mediocre product on their hands, the price drop reflects this.

Never even finished the main game. Not really interested. It was pretty, but got boring after doing the same 2 or 3 things over and over. Talking to the terrible DEI hire NPCs, with the eye rolling self insert commentary story.... added up to a snoozefest.
Beyond the content, character movement is so slow but turning/looking is so fast. This feels disorienting and immersion breaking for me. Navi are agile and cat-like. This is clunky
I loved the main game and the expansion. I am an Avatar saga lover and I have over 170hours on the game with the dlc and I loved it. Still, I do think the same that the game is the same thing over and over, and having more lore, connecting it to the films and getting to know more things about the Omatikaya and Metkayina clans would've been so good. But the thing that I'm so done with it is the RDA.. the very same bases to shut down, the helicopters are good but there are so many AMPs around the map that makes it tiring. The films are about fighting with the humans, why not to make that a secondary quest and the main quest to be getting to know about the clans and helping each clan of the game? It would feel much more immersive and smarter.. I'm waiting for the 2nd DLC and I'm excited about it, but also very sceptic since it seems that they would give us again the excact same thing as before.

I liked it but there’s some aspects that needs improvement as a big fan of the avatar series I’m happy with the game and was very surprised with a new part of pandora to explore that’s stunning wish the story was more immersive and longer and I did like putting a end to the main boss even if they were a pushover but I paid a lot of attention to dialogue bios and lore and that’s what made taking them out satisfying

I don't know if you like the ubisoft open world formula and kinda survival games then you will enjoy this game. To other gamers who experienced so many games this game and expansion would feel ok. As a person who owns all platforms it's passable.

@davidfrazier6308 yep for example the carry the butterfly mission. Would be fine once. For a change of pace and to admire the world slowing down. The problem is Ibiaoft do those things and then repeat it until your soul is crushed and by the end you do another one of the same mission type or collection feeling like you want to scream inside. They need more inventiveness and variety. More bespoke side quests and missions. Their games are always clear the enemy camps and collect stuff ad nauseum, and in some way find a way to highlight the map. It's really dull. I have went right off Ubisofts design. Especially after playing Baldurs Gate 3 and even The Witcher 3.
Alot of people dont like this game cause they want it to be like fry cry and they think the combat is mid but im sure they havent even explored the whole map and used all the weapons

I want to by this game and all the dlc but I got ubisoft plus on series x to give the game a shot but it still crashes my series x till this day constantly so sadly I stopped my subscription and haven't touched the game again so please fix the crashing issue and I will gladly throw my money at you also I find it funny star wars outlaws has the crashing problem so it's a no for me on that game to

There is a big that lets you play in 3rd person, though aiming is unreliable, you are invincible, and collecting things can force you to restart. It is really only good for parkour and exploring

Literally the best parts of this game is the visuals and superb soundtrack.
This DLC is more of a like a contract obligation than something derived out of passion and creativtity like Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree.
I am a huge fan of the Avatar movies so everything about this game makes me so happy.

Some woke stuff is annoying and some annoying people call everything woke. I'd like to hear what he thinks was woke. Either way his comment was redundant, repetitive missions and poor mission variety, that's the same thing. Also, incredibly mid isn't bad. Mid means middle, by definition most games are mid because middle is average. Lol

@@TheLuckyShepherd women in majority of leadership roles in both RDA & resistance, warriors & soldiers are mostly women, 90% of the women look like dudes or ugly af, strong female 2nd in command antagonist of course escapes with zero consequences for her actions while evil bad white man antagonist is left behind to die, token gay relationship mission… all the usual stuff. If the game was actually good, I’d look over it, but it’s not, it’s painfully uninspired in everything apart from visuals.

Overhaul update time, this game can just be so much more. Still makes me concerned of how Star Wars outlaws is going to be.
