2:37 I actually recommend obtaining pale canyon reeds for the legendary weapons, as it'll still yield a damage of 107 (given nimble gatherer III). This might seem worse than the heartlands reed at 116, but the pale canyon reed gives a 10% damage bonus, as opposed to the 15% wildlife bonus on the heartlands reed. Ive done A-B tests on identical amp suits, and have come to the conclusion using pale canyon reeds instead of heartlands reeds yields higher RDA damage at the cost of a bit of wildlife damage, which is a well worth trade in my book. Hope this was useful :)
@@T-erminatri-X Absolutely A lot of the times when trying to craft the ideal load out (whether it be gear, weapons, etc.), I sideline the raw additional health/damage of the item in favor of the bonus said item applies. I do this to a greater extent with armor, as ive found health over a few thousand begins to hit diminishing returns (there are specific cases where doing this is beneficial for weapons aswell, such as the reeds I am talking about in this original comment). Not to say the damage/health value is unimportant, because often times the effectiveness of the additional buff the gear provides will directly correlate with that raw damage/health stat. In other words, id much rather have a Thanator tooth with ~100 health that grants +10% damage than a Thanator tooth with ~150 health that grants +10% elemental resistance. I usually try to prioritize the following stats, while keeping rarity and raw health/damage in mind: - Stealth - Damage - Weakspot Damage - RDA Damage If you'd like some more specific gear/build recommendations, dm me on discord, my handle is: meg_m_nd

Thank you so much! I love the DLCs. I thought they were so good. They should’ve been a part of the main world, like they should’ve made the Upper Plains look like the Heart of the Plains from the start and they should’ve made the Clouded Forest look like the Spires of the Clouded Forest from the start. When I fast travel back to the main world, I’m a wee bit disappointed 😅😂 Nonetheless, I still really like the game in its entirety! And great job clean killing the stormglider! Those are super hard to clean kill! Definitely keep its parts in your pouch or stash for later! And when you get around to the second DLC, I’ll have another in-depth tutorial on the designs and materials for that 😉
@@ChillwJill thank you too ,i discovered your channel the First day i went back on the game After months and started the DLC ,now i got all the Amour and weapons with the max statistics and It was soo fun to collect everything around the world and discovering new things thanks to your channel Jill ,very well done and the guides were perfect ! 😊
Goated tips tbh. Regarding the Thanator, I visited that spot and there were two for some reason?! I used the method you described in another video - taking the high ground. On one I fumbled my shot but I managed to kill the second cleanly so that was neat. But here's the funny thing. I had the 20% better stats food buff, in the Hunter's Guide it's showing me it can go up to 532(!!) max damage, but I did get a 367 one. Not sure which one is a bug, the display or the loot, but man did I feel good about the shot and disappointed about the numbers lmfao
Thank you! 😊 Regarding the thanator: Same! The first time I visited that spot, there were two thanators. Since then, I’ve only gotten one thanator each time. And congrats! It feels good to clean kill the thanators! Regarding the stats: YES, I’m going to say it’s a glitch because the nimble gatherer 3 buff only works with flora, and none of the wildlife. However, it throws you off because it increases the stat range in the hunters guide for everything including wildlife, so you are led to believe you’ll get that higher stat range. But then you always get the lower/normal stat range for the wildlife. Very frustrating!
@@ChillwJill I killed it again cleanly ayayay... managed to get the Stormglider aswell. I highly appreciate it, even more so when I don't have to inspect the whole map with my Na'vi senses to find new mats that I didn't see yet. Got enough bs to deal with at work lmfao. Hi, great video, for me I found 3 legendary scimitar. 1 at your location and the other 2 were on the opposite side of the tiny location. I just climbed up the rocks behind the pass time fire place, walked to the opposite edge, turned 90 degrees walked to the edge and then scanned the area to my left and they were on the edge, a few metres apart
I'm really sorry to hear that! I just checked the stats right now: before consuming Nimble 3, the Heartlands Reed ranged from 86 to 94. After eating Nimble 3, it improved to 125-137. In the video, the stat range while using Nimble 3 was 104-116. At that time, I was level 25, and now I'm level 30. I'm not sure if the increase in stats is due to my higher level. Did you collect the reed during the day and ensure it was pristine? It should be in the 2 o’clock position for pristine collection. I also have all the perks unlocked. I looked at the skill trees again and I'm a bit unclear about what “Connoisseur II” does under Memories of the Maker. Do you have that unlocked? Lastly, did you have anything to eat after Nimble 3, or did you stick with just that? I'd only consume Nimble 3 for the best results.
@@ChillwJillI’m at level 26 after finishing all the skybreaker quests, with all skill trees and apex challenges unlocked.
