My favorite thing about this game is how openly angry Bilbo is when the dwarves send him to get something like...firewood. And he just has to fight and platform for his life by himself, so when he makes it back several hours later and he's just like "AND I HOPE YOU CHOKE ON IT" and that is so relatable.

Artsy cell shading that requires the newest graphics card. We need games that look fun again. 1. Despite beating this game over a dozen times as a kid, I never remembered the awesome “Hello there!” line by Gandalf until today. 2. The Hobbit movies would have been far better if they’d followed this game’s script 3. Was I the only one whose game crashed a lot, especially upon completing quests and ESPECIALLY during the mine level where you find the Ring at the end? 4. I’m glad I’m not the only one who was irritated by the dwarves’ complete inability to do anything themselves. “Hey, thanks for saving all our lives for the 7th time. Do you mind going on a fetch quest for me?” 5. Gandalf appearing in a flash of lightning between the armies of men, elves, and dwarves to warn them about the approaching goblins was the most badass thing ever. 6. 21:20 I love the idea that the first thing Beorn does when he finally gets ahold of Bolg is, rather than tearing him apart with his giant bear claws and teeth, he instead give him the world's most epic b*tch-slap

This was the first video of yours recommended to me, and I took a chance on it ... and wow am I glad I did. My family's been on a deep dive of your channel the last two days. The work you put in on editing, writing, inclusion of clips and references, running gags -- you're a chef of humor. Your videos are as dense with laughs as Arrested Development. You deserve so many more subscribers. Keep putting in the work! You're really something special. P.S. your BG3 thumbnail ruined me.
Oh! I had this when I was a little kid, literally before I even learned to read. As such, I never really made it very far, I guess I just liked running around, but I remember watching my older brothers play it.
My favorite only exposure to this game was a Nickelodeon magazine advertisement, the ad always intrigued me and this is the first time I’ve actually seen the game. I would have loved it as a kid
I remember playing this game as a kid. Putting those bottles in correct order with broken translation on my language :) And music... Such beautiful, powerful and calm soundtracks... I can hear music from main menu, while I`m typing these words. "Walk in the Shire", "Battle of Lake-Town"...
This was my first ever proper video game, I must have played it through dozens and dozens of times, it taught me how to play real computer games. I wore out three copies between the ages of 5 and 12. When the second copy wore out they had stopped making the discs, but my aunt who knew how much I loved it managed to find me a new copy anyway. I used to borrow my dad's work laptop when he came home to play it. I found every secret, knew every cave, trap, and corridor (but I had to get my brother to play most of Mirkwood for me, I was pretty scared of spiders as a child!) The music and dialog are forever burned into my soul. I played it again recently, it felt like stepping through a portal right back into my childhood. I'm not sure nostalgia is a strong enough word to describe the feelings this game brings out in me, it's just memories of times when I experienced pure joy playing this game. I'm fairly sure I played this a little before my brother read me the book for the first time, and I remember being weirded out that my favorite characters, Leanna and Corwin, weren't in it. And yes, it was the first time I'd ever heard Jennifer Hale's voice. For years after, whenever I heard her, I'd go; "It's Leanna!". This game means more to me than I think any game ever will. Great video, Cyan!
5:52 My favorite thing about this level, is if you fall off at a certain point in the level, instead of dying, you just glitch through the remainder of the level into Gollum's Lair lol.

I'm biased for sure, but I definitely think this game is really solid. Bonus for Bilbo's sheer sass
You shall adore GOD only
@@macabeo I'm literally catholic. I enjoy this game, but obviously I don't place it over God. It is not sinful to enjoy a video game.
This was the first video of yours recommended to me, and I took a chance on it ... and wow am I glad I did. My family's been on a deep dive of your channel the last two days. Your impressions(?) are amazing, especially in your Return of the King and Sea of Thieves videos.
My dad got this game for us when it came out. my Brother and I thought it was so cool to kill things with rocks. Dang this brings back memories.
This was so incredibly good. I can't believe your subscriber count is this low, it stands on par with so many large creators.
Good game, an old childhood favorite
your impressions went from amusing to downright impressive tbh
I had the gba version of this when I was younger, but I don't think I ever beat it. Thanks for bringing out some memories
I got this for Christmas 2003, I was enthralled with it! I had a blast playing it at the time, and I loved the soundtrack. Good times...
Oh! I had this when I was a little kid, literally before I even learned to read. As such, I never really made it very far, I guess I just liked running around, but I remember watching my older brothers play it.
This was my absolute favorite game as a kid. So much fun to watch you replay it.
I rented it from a friend, I remember it had fantastic atmosphere. Amazing video! Thanks for making this!
My favorite only exposure to this game was a Nickelodeon magazine advertisement, the ad always intrigued me and this is the first time I’ve actually seen the game. I would have loved it as a kid
This game introduced me to the universe of Tolkien, my brother and I both loved playing it and it still holds up to this day.
Played this is a kid. I'm pretty sure that whirlpool is the reason I'm afraid of water
I remember playing this game as a kid. Putting those bottles in correct order with broken translation on my language :) And music... Such beautiful, powerful and calm soundtracks... I can hear music from main menu, while I`m typing these words. "Walk in the Shire", "Battle of Lake-Town"...
Dude, love your videos. Just rewatched your metal gear rising videos. So awesome. You should do the Metal gear Vol 1 pack since they are now out.
This game is better than i remember for the fact that this is older than me its awesome
Jaja now i feel old
Dude this is hilarious I’m subbing
5:52 My favorite thing about this level, is if you fall off at a certain point in the level, instead of dying, you just glitch through the remainder of the level into Gollum's Lair lol.
this game was one of the first games I played growing up, and my whole family fell in love with it and they still talk about it to this day
I watched this at lunch at work and the way I cackled at this 🤣🤣🤣
I loved the crap out of this game when it came in, and I still play it about once a year. Thanks for the nostalgia.
I loved this game as a kid and it was one of the few that I finished. Thanks for the trip down nostalgia lane!
I loved this game as a kid! Honestly such a fun and charming adaptation. I remember spending way too much time getting the bottle order right, though… 😆 May just play it again!
my brother and i got this for christmas one year then played it every year in december for like six years in a row. my favorite levels were the laketown level and the gathering of the clouds... i loved the puzzles and exploration!!
I am so happy than now more people starts talking about this game! It was my first one and still I consider is as one of the best gameplays, level designs and soundtrack💪
