This is so cute!!! I saw this idea somewhere, that if you don’t have a light box, you can turn a large glass baking pan upside down over your phone with the flashlight on. I’ve tried it and it worked pretty well.
So cute! After a very long but happy day, I get to sit with my hand sewing and watch you work. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead! Thank you for sharing this video as well as your time and talent.
I just found your channel tonight and wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your tutorials. They are very clear and logical. I hope you are well as I don't see any recent videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Just found your channel, and loved the tutorial! I am a sewer and a new beekeeper, so this hit all the buttons for me! When I clicked on the link for the PDF for the Bee Skep Circles, it said the link was not found. Can you refresh that link for us? Can't wait to get started on my Skep pin cushion.
Thanks for the sketching tip! By the way-this works for applying eyeliner as well. Using little overlapping “dashes” makes it easy to stay straight and keep the liner tight to the lash line-even on my mature eyes.😁 Just thought I’d share.
I've had this cut out for about a year now but, never sewn it together - LOL! Guess I'll be doing it (as soon as I get the invisible thread off of my machine). One thing I've found about outisde curves though is that using pinking shears helps to avoid the clipping.
Suggestion only: When the fabric cut/block is a square just provide one side measurement, like, 5.5" square or 3" square. All sides of a square are equal. Just a suggestion to reduce redundancy.
The link to the circles does not work .. but you can watch the beginning of the video where she tells you what size each square is … make your circle slightly smaller than the size of the squares …
The bee pins really make it! So fun and useful!

Yes, pinking sheers work great too! Thanks for suggesting them, it may help someone who reads comments.
