Not as complicated as your latest. Your quilts are so gorgeous!
wonderful tutorial! Going to make this but a little smaller. Thanks.
Have fun!
I did not realize you were doing tutorials! I just knew you would be a good teacher!
Hey Paula! Thank you! It's a new adventure. I've always loved sharing my passion. Public speaking is hard. Being able to edit and do as many takes as needed is much easier and less embarrassing! Thanks for visiting!
Love the diagonal tape, but never thought about using a 2nd piece behind the needle to help line up the “bonus” HST sew line. Brilliant suggestion!!
Thanks, glad you found it helpful.💖
You are such a good teacher! Makes even a novice like me think I could do it!
Thank you. You can do it!💖 We were all beginners at one time. I've made some pretty wonky quilts. And still do sometimes. It's still fun even when they aren't perfect.
I love the fabric
Thank you! All but one is "cheap" fabric. Hobby Lobby and Walmart. It may not last 100 yrs but I'll get to enjoy it during my lifetime.
Where is the cherry fabric from? It's so sweet!
Gorgeous ❤❤❤
Thank you! I'm a sucker for red and white quilts and cherries.🍒🍒💗
Very pretty. Got to make this one for my daughter. Great tutorial! Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate the construction.

@@podunkpretties are you associated with any of the quilts shops in your area? We live east of Indy...just wondered...😊
@@cherylmurray9868 By associated I assume you mean selling and teaching. No. But I do sell my patterns wholesale to a few shops in the US.
@@podunkpretties just curious..we are always looking at shops we haven't been to before!!! 😊
@@cherylmurray9868 Back Door Quilts is the quilt shop closest to me. Great Shop! They specialize in Civil War reproductions but they have a little of everything. Tons of batiks, 30's, and some modern prints. The samples throughout the store is amazing. Klaiber's in Bloomington is a nice shop too. They carry more of the brights that I love. It's a small building but they have a pretty good selection. Sadly I rarely go there because I don't like the drive.
Hi. Re the exceptions to the rule, could you comment on why you make that particular choice please?
What background fabric did you use? It is so cute!
I just use masking tape on my machine, I can draw any number of lines on it and leave it there for ages.
Me too! I used to use masking tape also. I'll be going back to it once this tape is gone. I found it on sale for about $3 so I thought I would give it a try. It doesn't stick very well. I have a video where I show using blue masking tape to make a locking HST ruler, with the scrap tape I show how to make the masking tape with lines for this method.
Do you have a pattern of this quilt?
beautiful quilt, but I never ever buy fat quarters.
Thank you! I didn't for years, I would cut them from my stash and still do sometimes.
