What a fascinating experience this was with Frank! So great to learn about all of the unheard stories surrounding this legendary car.
What are your thoughts on the MC12? Better than the Enzo it's based on...? 😍
Well done, Jodi… now you need to do a drive video 😊
That Was And is SPECIAL still Not many around And Heyy ive been wondering wot Yur upto Ref Covid and Pub and Yiur HERE!!! Brilliant so a Newbie Subscribe Best wishes&Thumbs Up** Cheers Mrs!!! Tc uk liverpool XXX
Loved it and you got through the whole peace without mentioning it’s based on a Ferrari Enzo!
Far, far more exciting than the Enzo. Maybe less heritage behind it due to the obvious name advantage the Enzo had; but what a beautiful masterpiece. As Frank said, it was the white and blue models I have always known but my lord the tinted carbon fibre is such a baby. Lamborghini must have looked at this dearly for their sesto elemento paintings definitely.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ 💪💪💪💪 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
How on Earth!?! Not sure its possible to swing any harder on UA-cam than making Car Videos with Zak Brown and Frank Stephenson. Incredible set of first videos. Amazing Production and editing quality. Well done Jodie and team.
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words!
Don't forget Tuthill Porsche, and Joe Macari from my first 2 videos! Go back and give them a watch! ;)
Incredible is the word
I love Frank. With all of his achievements and creations he’s such a humble guy.
He really is! Lots of love for Frank
I'll be honest, i am finding it hard to be impressed by new You Tube automotive channels and the older ones are getting stale. But your focus on the people and stories rather than the pure technical aspects is perfect for me. I love the MC12, understated elegance which is rare in a supercar nowadays.
Glad to hear! It's about the people as much as it is the cars for me!
Ill never forget about 15 years ago on the 404 south here in Toronto, I saw a car coming up behind which I could tell was incredibly wide based on the distance between the headlights. As it approached, I said to myself, "is someone actually driving a Le Mans car on the road" Turns out it was a MC12. Looked incredible. I saw it on local roads for that summer a few times but I believe the owner eventually sold it. Haven't seen it again since.
Honestly, seeing this in a showroom in the flesh was an absolute thing of beauty.
I’am amazed. I “met” you briefly at gumball 3000 in 2005 and felt another energy in respect to the cars with you than other people on the grid had. You seam really honest with this stuff - thank you
Thank you! Wonderful Gumball memories!!
The Maserati is a Visual delight, the lines are just perfect. Your interaction with Frank seamed so natural and effortless, which made the video such a pleasure to watch.... Great job Jodie........ :-)))) xxx
Thanks for watching!
The blue & white is iconic on the MC12. This is the first time I'm seeing it in this dark blue carbon and I have to say it elevates the car to a whole new level.
The MC12 featured in this video was also originally in the Blue/ White paint scheme however was re-bodied in Blue Carbon Fibre by Carrozzeria Zanasi
Intriguing!...Thanks Jodie and Frank for walking us around the MC12...iconic.
Thanks for watching!
So refreshing to see a passionate woman with genuine knowledge and enthusiasm for everything auto. 😆😆LOVING THIS SERIES JODI
Thank you so much Ben! This is just the start ;)
@@KiddinaSweetShop awsome can not wait. Kind regards

There is something about British people talking about cars that I really love. it helps she's more attractive then Clarkson, May, and Hammond too.
Great channel! and thanks for the top tier content!
My pleasure, glad you are enjoying the videos! Plenty more to come!!
Well done you. Anything with Frank S. is excellent.

jodie out here pumping out AMAZING content for us all! love it
Thanks for watching! Means a lot! This is just the start
'Kidd in a Sweet Shop' is like the Rolls Royce of car channels on UA-cam.
Nice work, Jodie!
Wow, thank you!
Quickly becoming my favorite channel.
This was awesome!!
Awesome! Thank you!
I have always been a car guy. I have an even greater love for automobiles after viewing your channel. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
This is amazing, loving your channel! I follow Frank for quite a while, lovely content, the both of you! 🏁
This expose on the MC12 is off the charts! One of the most beautiful timeless cars in the post-war aesthetic imaginable. The Enzo looks foolish in comparison to the MC12. The only car I can think of that comes anywhere near the MC12 is Porsche’s GT1 (also a few road cars to homologate racing cars).
Jodie’s easy manner in prompting Frank and her responses to him, in combination with Frank’s ability to explain his thinking (not all designers can do that) set this video apart as a timeless classic. Few UA-cam videos, in my opinion, are worth multiple viewings. This video and Frank’s channel are among those outstanding few.
Jodie - you have a new subscriber.
Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed the videos. Welcome aboard, lots of new content coming!
Mc12 is my ultimate Dream car and surprisingly I learned some new stuff from this Video

Watching this late at night, and I'm going to go to sleep tonight and wake up tomorrow morning so sad in the knowledge that I will never get to drive one of these beautiful machines! 😪
What a brilliant channel, thanks for the amazing videos, production is absolutely spot on, not too much music just pure cars!
The Zak Brown video was great too, that Escort Cossy that Sainz drove is another dream car 🤤

Wonderful video Ms Kidd. I enjoy watching the natural enthusiasm you have for cars like this. :)
Thank you Pete!
Brilliant video Jodie thanks. What a truly beautiful machine! I remember as a kid feeling the same sense of awe when I saw the Jaguar XJR-9 for the first time.
Thanks! Crazy car
Congratulations on the new channel. Love the name. A really strong start with all your connections. Remember seeing you on TG years ago and thought then you should make some car TV if you wanted to. Love your natural reactions and such a contrast to your previous career, books and covers and all that.
Thank you so much! I am loving my YT journey so far and the support has been incredible! I have some exciting videos and collabs coming soon!
Wow, this channel is really great, I'm glad I found it! I still remember seeing you on a show called supercar megabuild a while back(do you still have that 200mph Ghibli?), fantastic to see you here again! Can't wait for the next one!

WoW, with Frank Stephenson 👏👏👏👏. El mejor diseñador del mundo💪💪
My dream car too, it beats anything from that era
Frank seems like such a wonderful and down to earth guy!
He is!!
Bike guy here.....but you may change my mind. Great channel.
Haha thank you!
Another great episode Jodie. As a designer, I'm always interested in understanding the motivations and limitations fellow designers faced and overcame in delivering the design solution the brief. Thanks, and keep up the awesome work!
Thanks for sharing!
Another great and interesting interview. Pat
Thanks Pat
I think the universe has given us this UA-cam channel to make up for dealing with 2020
Underrated comment
Just watched all the videos on the channel. Enjoyed your infectious enthusiasm and knowledge that can only come from being a massive petrolhead! Can't wait to see more content, maybe some more rallying?
Welcome aboard! I'm working on a lot of new content currently, possibly more rallying too!!
Keep it up Jodie, these are great.
Thank you :)
Thanks for the great video ❤
You are so welcome!
Keep them coming 🙏🤩
With pleasure ;)
That’s why I love my 2012 L322 Autobiography more than any later RR. It flows like lava and so smooth on the edges, just the right curve, regardless of it being Boxy looking. Inside and out is just delicious. A lot of E46 design language translated throughout the L322 which explains it all. Long live the L322 and the E46 ///M.
Totally agree! xx
I love "The House of Games".... Even better with you on it..... :-)))) xxxxx
Supercar Blondie watch out, there's a new "Kidd" on the block! 🙌
oooh I am liking the sound of this ;)
When God created Frank, he said to himself, Today I'm making a rare exception......
ha very true!
Amazing car. Achingly beautiful. What a designer and what a video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks! He’s incredible.
Thank you both, I feel exactly the same way.
😁
I totally 💯 agree with you the MC12 is an absolutely stunning machine ❤️❤️❤️ remember the babies head 😳 good job well done ❤️🙏🏽
thank you so much :)
@@KiddinaSweetShop how about me doing an interview with you?
Awesome video. As well as an awesome car or cars. The interview was great and the whole feel is perfect. I think the Maserati has more soul than the Enzo. Both are great cars of course, and the blue tinted carbon is so good. It has that race performance feel but with an elegance to it. Great job
It is such a special car and Frank is fascinating!
I love the brand, thank you for the video, epic
Thanks for tuning in!
Love this.
My modern favourite along with the F40 and the 288 GTO 😀👍🇨🇦 I like cars with Curves not the creases and angles that are in design now.
Still one of my all time favourite cars. I would hands down choose this over an Enzo but not an F50 :)
I have the Jensen Interceptor 1968 original engined Hypercar 4 spd manual 200mph + with a lot of HP and more torque than a Bugatti. It’s blue with a ram air scoop. The car lives near Goodwood so if you see it at the FOS please come and say hi. x
Just amazing isn’t it!
@@KiddinaSweetShop i can already see myself watching this video countless times, brilliant and thank you, i really enjoy your videos. Duncan from Chichester.
Jodie and Frank. What a combo 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Do you have any idea how good this is ?? Nothing Like It. Full stop.
Thank you 🙌
Love the MC12. Race car for the road. And beautiful. Bit out of reach but bought the Scalextric model. Oh, and raced it on Gran Turismo.
Epic isn’t it!
First comment YESSSS, saludos from Tijuana, Mexico, love the content :)
Welcome!
amazing video. awesome car, awesome designer, awesome host.
Thanks for watching!
Nice touch, wearing your MC Hammer pants while reviewing the MC 12
Great channel
Thank you so much :)
Your total dedication and passion is palpable . And any doubts in my mind about Mr. Stephenson' personna very quickly disappeared ! Your both as bad as each other ! 😂😊
Once again a compulsive , magnetic , must watch , programme ! ....... l always try to leave a comment because you go to the trouble of making these presentations so it's only good manners to reply ! Thankyou Jodie .
Thanks so much!
FABULOUS 💯
Thank you xx
Awesome x10!
Thanks!
Great question asking him how he worked with the engineering team! Wish he expanded more but that could be an hour long video on its own.
Frank has his own channel which is extremely informative!
Fantastic!!!!
😊🙌🏼
Got to meet Frank once really nice guy and fuels your enthusiasm if you're interested in his work!
Legend!
Wait frank. Is this pure coincidence or is the P1 a sculpted extremely futuristic version of the MC12. I can see so many similarities which btw only add to the nostalgic value of the P1. From the side intake which evolved into an absolute ram effect to the way the front nose of the car splits air... to the engine cover which tapers in but in a less sculpted manner...to the intent of shortening the height of the rear as hard as possible that you introduced a very unique ducktail
Great spot Michael, yes.
I'm not going to lie still.... But this channel go be BIIIIIG!!! GEEZ, I'm learning as I go
😁🙌🏼 glad you’re onboard for the journey!
U content is just so real, super car blondie should come for classes😫😂
With your connection to Barbados, it was inevitable that you'd race for Maserati. We have Neptune's broken trident on our flag!
Great 👍🏻
And now I will forever have the mental image of the car driving along with a stuck baby flapping in the wind.
😂😂😂
Love the race car 👌🇮🇹
I had hope to get some explanation about the MC12's wings shape/style as in my opinion the Corse style wing looks way better, and also why the exhausts tailpipes are positioned different to the Corse that have two single pipes and the MC12 has two double tailpipes, and also in that case the Versione Corse looks better IMO!
The MC12 Versione Corse looks way better than the MC12 Stradale, but both are masterpieces!
MC12 road legal and track version have to follow different rules and regulations. The MC12 Corsa's and GT1's rear wings wouldn't be road legal in most areas and those two variants of the MC12 also feature a smaller diffusor due to the GT1 class rules while they won't need silencers on the exhaust which overall allows for a different/better exhaust layout compared to the road legal version where the exhaust silencers will take up space and the diffusor layout can be as you'd like. Mercedes' CLK-GTR road version has the same issue in regards to the rear wing at least.
In Bologna between two huge churches there a statue of Neptune. And without the huge catholic presence the statue is where the Maserati badge came from.
Awesome vid, i love me some jodie kidd vid 🙏🇬🇧 COME ON ENGLAND COME ON ENGLAND.
Pleased to hear it
Loads of crawling and bowing for Jodie in front of the Baby Eating Poseidon:-) Love the car, even without the front glass for the lights.
Rich kids tend to be well connected youtubers
What was the parts company that Frank mnetioned for the rear lights? Anyone got a link ;)
I have always loved this car. I so wanted a Gransport of the era but the ratios never made me do it. When your this tall and the car is so low your back must be killed by the end of this!
Truly beautiful work of pure art,, 😊.,, but... Imho, the 2 most perfect car designs, are the Lancia Stratos, and the 246 Dino,, but, I'm showing my age there then,,!! ha ha,,
how about a nostalgia fix, featuring either (or both), of the cars of our youth, !! Lol,,,
ps,, I was marshaling on the RAC Rally, when the Stratos made its debut, and we couldn't talk about anything else, for weeks,,, 😃😃
pps, in the cold dark night, we heard the most fantastic sound you've ever heard,, coming through the forest, my best mate turned to me, and we both said together ..... STRATOS,,, I'll never forget that moment, as long as I live ,, 😊
Wow!
Nice Genie 🧞♂️ trousers jodie xxx🙏❤️😎🇬🇧
Epic
How is it that I just came across this channel
Welcome to KIASS!
How on earth are you going to top the cars you've given us so far? (Besides driving an XJ220 or an Alfa 147... I own one of these I'll let you guess which)
Funny you should mention the Jag... 🧐
@@KiddinaSweetShop If you happen to need some dead weight for the passenger seat please let me know, you could also do a head to head, which is best a Jag or a Aston (I'd happily play the part of a Aston :D)
All class Kidd, my only disappointment, you didn't drive it! :-)
Next time!
When is the Harry's garage collaboration coming?
would you like that? :)
