for the record, im pretty sure that idiot you bought it from blew that freeze plug in the winter of 2017 having way too much fun in a snowstorm sliding around town.. so, 7 years, but close enough... you were an absolute legend and bought it off me in Sep, 2018 a month shy of my hop across the pond, which was a massive help while saving her from the scrapyard. another note, the air shocks on the front were to help the tyre wear due to the solid front axle that lacks any camber adjustment which happens to be from an era that ran bias ply tyres.. this will either become a part of this project OR lead to a different type of front tyre when you decide to chuck shoes on that hold air.. Ill message you some time and clarify. thanks mate for posting this video, its awesome to see the old gal again, but crazy how much more of the green has come through the paint over the years. looks like ill need to plot a trip back up north and harass you one day now that your crackin on, maybe ill bring you a spider worth whinging about. 🤣
Love the old ford truck put another engine in it v8 take out 6 cylinder paint it midnight metallic blue with metal flakes or without metal flakes then call it an Indian name like blue sky or blue moon it's a very nice looking antique truck it would look brand new if you fix it up and paint it thanks for bringing it back to life keep up the good work
@@leftysfabrication if i remember correctly, you got a brilliant V8 with a cam, high compression pistons, mallory multi spark ignition, edlbrock intake, etc. when you got this old truck... i hope you didnt lose it.. ;) (pretty sure i spotted it in the background) p.s. i will need those vice grips back. 🤣🤣🤣

Please come on up here, it’s been way too long! BUT YOU CAN KEEP YOUR SPIDERS TO YOURSELF, THANK YOU!!
Im in the process of rebuilding my 1976 ford f100 with my dad i swapped the inline 6 for a 302
That’s awesome! I’ve been thinking of a similar plan for this truck
Looks like an 89 Ford bed on the back possibly off of F-150 or 250
No sir. It’s the original bed. Body line looks similar from a distance
110% all original bed, other than the taillights.

I’ve thought about swapping in a V8, it make it a fun little truck! Thanks for the paint ideas too!

Those are sweet old trucks! Probably wouldn’t hurt to have some help every once in a while but I’m used to doing things myself
