I definitely use the hood view on this course because of the constant elevation changes, helps me to really sus out the lines well ahead of time avoid those pesky penalty spots.
Only cockpit view for me… but you are right the elevation changes make the track so challenging which I what I love!
After a few laps, it's pretty easy figuring out the circuit
You got to play this track in VR. It’s pretty insane.
Just wait until you drive it irl. It’s about an hour from me and it’s the closest thing to a roller coaster you can find outside of a theme park. IMSA does a 12 hour race there also and chaotic would be an understatement
I am looking forward to playing in VR at some point, loved VR on PC.

2nd was my best overall finish with Race C using the Renault
See I knew they threw darts at a dart board for race combos without any testing at all
it shows PD or is it KAS, they do listen and act on it when it's needed, great video tidge mate as always 👍👍👍
Shame to say I learnt this the hard way this morning, finished 2nd straight down to 10th with the penalty😂

I am really enjoying this race now, I had a couple of wins out of pure luck because the alien drivers did not stop for a pit and my third became a P1 lol. But in all seriousness I do enjoy having a variety of cars to use again and I really adore this track especially in these GR3 cars.
Fast in a straight line, excellent on resource management, mid to mid+ acceleration...yeah the Endurance model is well balanced :)
The change requiring a pit stop hit me yesterday. I had pole position and won a great hard fought race, but got zero DR benefit from it thanks to a one minute penalty for not pitting… thankfully, no one else did either! It was a full grid of minute penalties. 😂
I went from p7 to p2, holding p1 for a while. Only to be hit with 1 min penalty along with p3,4 and 5 …. My face was quite the thing

Up into the top 5 within two laps in back to back races.
Too many hero moves.
Just stuck to my line, kept patient, and waited for the predictable carnage fron the non patient.
Finished 4th and 8th

Gotta do something. I was hammered at the esses this morning I bumped into someone because of it...I get 4 second penalty lmao...needs to be fixed you get screwed for something you have no control over lol
I suspect they will definitely use Sophy in the future for Track Limit penalties (Uses normal AI to decide at the moment)

I hit someone being too good of a sportsman, got rear ended, hit the car in front, they went off and I got 5 seconds....
I don't like the fact that Poliphany restricts tuning on top of BOP horsepower and weight changes. I've observed that the way that it is now is that with the restrictions certain cars have advantages on certain tracks. Why not take the tuning profiles that users have on their favorite cars when entering lobbies after they do weight and power bops? I like the Audi R8, and on certain tracks I can adjust the LSD, frequency, camber, downforce, etc

I'm bit confused with tyre tests. GTR18 was only car with some white in tyres after 13 laps and tyre tests are not confirming that
Tuning changes how tyres react quite a bit.

They changed it because they know their tyre model is stupid. You can drive beyond the end of the tyre life and barely lose time.
You didn't need one more lap, friend, you needed to set a qualifying lap so your fans don't have to root for a backmarker with no prospects.
When you test a car you dont qualify. If he did he will be in the front and backs hes testing thats not a good idea
I don't like setting times in the daily races as the race can become far more boring far quickly where as from the back we experience and see alot of the race 😊.
That FFB bug has been around since GTSport! 🙄
I've only experienced it in GT7 👀
