There is something truly freeing about playing a Stunty team. If you have never played one, I highly recommend trying it out at least once. Stunties will teach you so much about playing Blood Bowl. "It's only after you've lost everything that you are free to do anything" -Tyler Durden
@@3ggh3ad ...for me, one of the most fun things about Goblins is going into a game knowing that it's going to go badly. The only unknown is WHICH team it's going to go badly for (typically it's the Goblins); there's usually no middle ground.
The snotlings are just wild to play. After the first game with them, both coaches were in shock as to what had just happened. The Snotlings went onto win the league. I have an Ogre and Gnome box in progress, keen now to try them
I built my Snotling team way back when they used to (technically) be an Ogre team. I used the old pewter models, of which there are a bajillion different sculpts. The "Bone Breakers" consist of 16 basic Snotlings, rocking the full 8 rerolls. There are no big guys. No special weapons. No star players. Just 16 titchy snots. They are an absolute delight to play. They do surprisingly decently in Second Season edition, too. The addition of Riotous Rookies and the removal of the one-team-reroll-per-turn rule were absolute game changers. And that's not even to mention low-cost-linemen! I know everyone loves their special weapons and trolls and such, but there's something great about a pitch full of regular snotlings running around trying desperately to get a favourable block.
How many of these teams serve as a backdrop for star players? For example, skilled ogres are unreliable with Bonehead and skilled gnoblars are expensive and still fragile. Are star players a necessary consideration when discussing the metagame?
If this is a dumb question (newly back to blood bowl in over a decade). If Ogres are classed as a stunty team why isn't the black orc team? 6 ogres compared to 6 black orcs both sides are backed up by stunty team mates.
Black Orcs are much, much stronger all over the pitch, you'll reliably roll 6 blockers thatll wreck anything in front of them plus a troll, so goblins become filler, tho still important to protect for ball carrying Whereas with Ogres you'll reliably run swarms of gnoblars with a few Ogres about
Sooo cute😍. Yeah the teams too. I played my first tournament with snotlings and i really think about to play them on next tournament too. Or maybe Goblins😅😅.
Snotlings were my first team, and I absolutely loved how they played. Every game was absolute chaos. I don't even know how i won most of those matches!
A tricky list. Gnomes might be the strongest once they level-up with some dodge, but are mega-fragile until then. Ogres can have good impact, but no team is as crazily vulnerable to AG2+ ballrunners. Enjoyment-wise, I'm LOVING my gnomes and how their skill set makes them 'have a go' hopefuls where you always have a chance. My ogres were oddly formulaic to play, being trapped hard within the niche capabilities of their positions.
I've been playing nothing but Ogres for the last year (both in a league and multiple tournaments) I do really enjoy playing them but get what you mean about a lack of flair. One subtle change I think would make a big difference to them is give them the bribery and corruption keyword. Cheaper bribes would let them play more of a fouling game and opens up secret weapons as more of an option.
Nice video, I feel the same way about "this team is probably a better version of tbis team but personality goes a long way." Lizardmen are prooooobably just a better black orc team, and don't get me wrong dinos are cool, but I still play black orcs lmao.

Its horrible and frustrating...but when a stunty team actually WORKS its amazing

@@-Charon- i can see that, you do need to accept that it will probably all blow up in your face.
to be clear i DO love goblina

to be fair, most of that was down to Desperate Measures :P
When played well the mighty snots are definitely not tier 3.

Where did you find that baby?
Firstly, “just watch your fruit” had me and my 9 month old girl rolling
Secondly, so much hair!!

I know it's not an ideal build for them, but how would you rank a Skin-based Lizardmen team against the other stunties?

Aww Libby is adorable 🥰
Made me want to play snotlings
xd I would totaly flip this chart upside down xD
I’ve heard from more than one person that the gnomes are very good.
The pump wagon shouldn't be really stupid and Gnomes need more dodge
disappointed not to see Libby in her own panel during the latest bhcp, beside Ian and Ben
Ogres #5? I'm out O.o
Cute kid you got there. :)
