Kimi was DR reset recently and was driving "clean" to get his ratings back lol. The easiest fix to eliminate this type of griefing is to disable counter-steering assist, active stability management, and "correct vehicle course after wall collision" past driver rating B.
That exactly what I just said just ban every assist is only way to stop this from ever happening i know some use it and arnt dirty. But😂 this seems way to end all this
I am a player from Asia. There is a Japanese player who also turns on dynamic assistance and uses the same method to interfere and disrupt the game. He especially likes to use Nissan and Ferrari. He has multiple accounts and takes turns to log in to play. His ability is A, A+. I have to wonder if this is his account for playing in Europe. I haven’t seen him appear in the Asia Daily Competition recently.
Kimi needs to be perma-banned from sport. This is ridiculous. PD needs to start doing something about people like Kimi. If this isn't targeted harassment, I don't know what is.

This really shows PD’s biggest problem with GT7 overall.
In GT Sport, you could use counter steer assist and stability control. But the trade off was that your car was slightly slower.
I think that these assists are great for people learning to race, or the casual racer. But you should not be able to reach A+ whilst using these assists.
I think that they should automatically be removed once you reach A+.
I think that just about everyone has been on the receiving end of a pit manoeuvre on GT7. Which is just encouraging more and more drivers to use these assists to protect themselves. GT7 is gradually becoming more and more like an arcade game.

I agree to a point, but some race cars have assists like these in the real world so it's a difficult thing to consider for the game
I totally agree with keeping traction control. Even though I don’t use it, it is used in real racing. I also use abs which again is now fitted to most cars. It’s just the stability management and over steer assist. A great addition for people just starting out in racing. But for the sake of realism, I think that it should be disabled once a driver reaches A rank. As the only advantage it has as this level is to assist dirty drivers, who have an unrealistic stable car which allows them to behave the way they do. Rory is a classy guy, he never mentions kimi or retaliates the whole time and just goes on with his day. And, no mention of it at all in his vids post stream. It’s a bit obsessive with the livery and all. For all we know there is mental illness at play. I think we should take Rory’s lead here and just not give him a stage.
Kimi is quicker than 95% of A+ drivers. pretty sure he has a competitive account and this just to make fun of the game

I've raced Kimi and he's not that fast. His tactics make him seem like he can keep up with the fast guys, but all he is doing is driving dirty to slow them down. @@mdrlz
Rory has made "dirty driver Kimi" videos before though so definitely has given him that stage. If hes realised though that's a bad idea, and no longer does that, props to him. Retaliating against kimi and also keeping his infamy alive across UA-cam only seems to encourage him

EErieisss would have an argument to PD or Sony, that this is in game harassment. PD has removed the in game report feature, not that it ever did stop people like Kimi, so the only assumption you can take from this, is that Kimi, who has been doing this for years now, would indicate PD, just dont care.

Kimi has always been this way since I first saw him in top split in Suzuka 2021 where he tried to take out the entire lobby, last time I was in the same race he was blocking the top 5 so I decided to take him out. What's the difference here is he's targeting a streamer with this livery and looks like he wants a reaction from him with his livery etc and this time its too far by him.
Let me preface this by stating that I am a moderator at the Gran Turismo subreddit, but we are a fan-made subreddit and not associated with PD in any way.
I am baffled that guys like Kimi are allowed to remain in this game. He has been demonstrating this type of behavior for years, and as is shown in this video, he isn't getting better.
The fact that Kimi used Rory's gamertag on his livery, made no attempt to follow race rules by pitting, and literally slowed down to take Rory out is a testament is grounds for a swift and permanent ban from the game. It's just that simple. There is no argument. Period.
Some people have said that Kimi has been banned in the past and found a work-around. That is no excuse. This is unacceptable, and frankly, PD should ban this - and any future accounts Kimi makes.
PD's complete apathy toward this is why I have not played GT7 in months, and I have no plans to purchase any GT game in the future until I am satisfied that PD is actually going to start getting rid of the unquestiinably obvious offenders like Kimi. This is utterly ridiculous.
As a mod you should start educating creators who are part of the sub to STOP creating videos and threads about Kimi. The more attention he gets, the more he will continue to ruin the game for everyone. The fact that people don't realize this is exactly why nothing has ever changed.

I'm confused to PD's stance concerning this type of behavior. I stepped away from racing for a bit and only race to jump in lobbies with people I know after I was pitted and rammed off track repeatedly during one race after which I sent the guy a msg calling him a crayon chewer that should be playing The Crew. A few days later I get a msg from Sony stating they would ban me for violating their TOS for harassing language. When I sent reports concerning people like Kimi I always got a response stating they found nothing wrong.
My enjoyment of GT7 has def been ruined and my desire to race is very low because of their approach to handling horrible drivers to purposely go out of their way to ruin races.

Hi Mihael, the main problem unfortunately is not Kimi but the programming of GT7 which allows him to be incorrect and unpunished. Kimi is allowed to do the worst misconducts without penalties. I am in category B and especially in the shorter matches there are many incorrect players. The worst part is that they throw you out without being penalized while those who finish out also get a penalty for having crashed into the barriers or for cutting the lane and you can't do anything, in fact at the end of the race your ranking is also lowered. The problem is Gran Turismo and I don't think there is any interest in stopping this obscene practice which penalizes the most correct players.

If every lobby he's in he gets smashed off track he might stop. Too many drivers try driving clean when passing him. Don't let him drive. A hard sideways hit will overwhelm the countersteer assist

Polyphony Digital needs to rethink completely the penalty system, this is unacceptable, this kind of drivers should be banned not only penalized. But then, during the manufacturer cup at Mount Panorama if I crash on the wall (which makes me lose time and position) I get 1.5 seconds of penalty and if by mistake I touch the wall even slightly again while I'm trying to escape the situation, another 1.5, so now my race is doomed. People can run into you, push you and hit you all the time and I rarely see penalties for that. But again, if you go into the gravel because you outbreak yourself, you get a penalty even tho you actually lost time in that case. This is ridiculous.
Rory made a point of not featuring him in any more of his videos, so that's probably wound little Kimi up even further.
I find it a little depressing when up and coming streamers (not you, Digit, I mean folks just starting out) featuring him in their videos because they know it's an easy way to get views. People just need to ignore him and he'll disappear.

Hi, in my opinion you and other top tier players with a large amount of followers should collaborate and start a strike against Polyphony. Start to ignore GT7 until P makes a correct bug and player reporting system. P is unresponsive now, what not less and not more than P is spitting in your face.

This is back in nov/dec, I tried online the lobby was absolutely fine great time , then I tried the Sport , I’ve never seen such dirty driving in my life (D rank) what clinched it for me was a pink porche, I gave him plenty of space more then a cars width , I was ahead turned into the corner and he just drove into me didn’t even break ( I had started in 16th and due to everyone else just driving themself off the track I was 6th ) and completely ****ed the race, only time I’ve ever quit because I couldn’t get the car to move I was stuck .
Kimi is clearly mentally unstable, but this scenario is down to the developers. They are clearly not policing their service to ensure it is properly usable by their customers.
Had the same thing happen to me and then had a race where he drove clean the whole race, I have basically the exact same video on my channel 👊🏻 Great stuff 👌🏻

My last encounter was on the Manufacturers race on the Ring last week. 2 racers pitted and and rammed me off track twice, I got the penalty dropped to 16th place from P5 worked my way up to P10 finish and received a BIG DR/SR hit as my consolation prize. I also iRace as well as ACC....it's getting to the point where I'm about to give up on GT7 like I did the Forza franchise.
We have a similar clown in APAC. He will target the highest Dr driver in any race (or any streamer) and does this exact thing. He’ll even use the option button to ghost through someone and escape penalty. We need a better (or just a functional) reporting system in GT7
EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO AFTER HIM EVERY SECOND OF EVERY RACE. He will eventually get tired of it and quit you would think. I made. Luis Dinisio quit a Few times. Haven't seen him in forever.
I disagree with this. Kimi is an expert at this - and he knows how to behave like this without getting penalties. Others don't have the experience in doing this. So if everyone went after Kimi it would result in those people suffering ratings losses. It also won't matter to Kimi. He likes the attention too much. It's a no win situation.
He’s not infallible, in my races he ends up getting mashed every time and he either quits or he comes last
Have been away for 4 months and the force feedback on my dd pro has been significantly reduced also a warning when setting to 10 ffb. Did gt7 neuter the ffb in this game?
The reason he has it in for Rory (eeerieis) is because Rory refuses to talk about him on stream. Kimi just craves attention. Rory denies him this

i guess pd and sony only care about money, kimi is just another paying customer so why would they want to ban him (or the thousands of others who do this). That or they're worried about the legal recourse someone could take against them.
I honestly think he is a PD/GT7 plant. Never gets penalties; has all the driver aids and is still super fast; takes ages to get downgraded; is never banned... you really have to think how a normal driver would be treated if they acted in the same way. The penalty system works (not necessarily well) yet KV escapes where others do not. The error is not in the programming, it is in the rights of that particular "driver". PD need to come clean about it.

In Asia/Oceania I have a story, an 🇦🇺 Kimi Velocini from Daily C at Interlagos, that guy crashed everyone before 1st lap, including myself but I took the trash out, yeah, I sent him to the wall and lag was a help, when I pitted at lap 5 he waited for me but I prefered not to being close to him so at next lap I entered the pits again without doing nothing there....1 lap later, he gave up and quitted the race, fortunelly there was a server issue and only 7 drivers started the race. I didn't see him again.

That's on PD, they do not care it seems, I race from time to time on Raceroom and even there where there is barely an online scene, they have implemented a system of incident points , once you reach the límite you're automatically DQ. i think the system point accounts for off tracks, crashes.
And there's also prob, another system un play once there was a guy crashing on purpose and was remove within 2-5 minutes or less even
there are actually a lot of such drivers. at some level should such drivers be ghosts so that they can't hurt anyone when they run over or push all them to the dirty driving league

Well, any race that has kimi in it (a form of detection maybe IP or some console series idon't know) should not be SR and DR rated so anytime you encouter him tou simply exit the race with no penaltyes and that's it.

This simply demonstrates how poor the penalty system is when you have a blatant violator who's targeting a particular driver and yet nothing is done. You have people that are suspended for a week for saying the word idiot I've heard and then you have the Dodge charger rebel livery that gets people suspended for a week so if they can police that stuff then they most certainly can police somebody who is just basically taking his pants off and mooning PD right in their face
Oh man, you heard right about people being suspended, I was threatened with suspension for calling someone who did what Kimi did to me a "Crayon Chewer" and a couple days letter I get a msg on my PSN account saying I would be suspended if I got another report. And I'm not kidding.

I have always thought that if he is in any lobby, every driver should run him off the track at every opportunity wether he is driving well or not. He will always end up driving like this!
I'm still in B class. But the dirty racing has got me just about giving up on GT7. I try to not hit anyone. Going as far as crashing just to avoid hitting anyone. There's guys literally next to me on a straight and turning into me 3 or 4 times until I'm off the track. And if there's 2 or 3 guys in front then just trying to avoid them is almost impossible. There has to be a solution to this. It's a real turn off. Seriously don't want to race if every other race these guys are playing demolition derby.
To get S you need to not just be clean but very fast so you are ahead of the pack, avoiding dirty drivers

There seems to be a pit maneuver hit box on cars. Rear three quarter hit and one party goes flying. Joke physics and this video shows the absurdity of DR. It isn't just Kimi, there are many more. PD will not or cannot do anything about It.
Guys like this in the lobbies is one reason I avoid the dailies. Drivers who drive clean and have good sportsmanship need to at least report Kimi for his constant dirty driving. This is not the first UA-cam video I have seen with Kimi in it either. So he's getting a lot of negative notoriety. Good. Spread the word about this idiot and we most likely can at least get PD to notice.

I want to know how he maintains a "A" rating and S rating to stay with in the top split with you guys, if that was me, the rating system would have dropped me from B all the way to D or E
