I baked this today. I reduced sugar to 65g & replaced the cream cheese filling with ripe bananas. Although I baked for 30 mins at 160°C (table top oven) but top and bottom didn't get golden brown. Baked for another 7 mins in total, only 3 get brown but all became crispy on top and dry inside. Although not as soft and fluffy as what teacher Apron has demonstrated but will try again. Thank you for this recipe. I just love "1 bowl" straight forward recipe! :)
These turned out great! Had to bake them longer than the stated time, but I highly recommend them! Small batch recipe that doesn't waste ingredients IF you mess it up the first time through. Will definitely make these again and share!

Caster sugar is for cake part. Icing sugar is for the cream cheese filling and you can't use caster sugar for that as it needs to be smooth not grainy.

Hi, for every 1 cup of all purpose flour remove 2 Tbsp of flour,and replace 2 Tbsp of that with cornstarch
