Chocolate Cream Cheese Muffins｜Apron
Chocolate Cake
Unsalted butter 100g / 8Tbsp
Sugar 100g / 1/2cup
Whole egg 2(55g+- per egg)
Vanilla extract 1/2tsp
Cake flour 90g / 8Tbsp
Baking powder 1.5g / 1/2tsp
Cocoa powder 15g / 2Tbsp
Sea salt 1.5g / 1/4tsp
Filling
Cream cheese 80g / 2/3cup
Powdered sugar 25g / 1/4cup
Egg yolk 1
Vanilla extract 1/2tsp
6 cup muffin pan
Bake at 170°C / 340°F for 15-20 minutes

hi Apron, i love your videos and the results of my baking are very good when i followed your recipe. I did your other cream cheese muffin recipe and it turns out very smooth textured and delicious too. I have a question with regards to your current chocolate muffin recipe. As i am keen to use less sugar and butter, i notice this chocolate recipe uses more butter and sugar as compared to the cream cheese muffin recipe. May i know why does your butter and sugar is more in this recipe and i also notice this muffin batter does not include cream cheese. does it make a difference as to why you didn't include cream cheese in this chocolate muffin batter? :)
