Why does everyone wanna kill us hellcat owners. I’m just trying to drive my boat.
🤣🤣🤣 nice one 👍
^
I take it as a compliment. Dodge did good with the hellcat line up.
Regardless how heavy they are.
Because it gets views and hellcats are fast
I agree, we should be aiming higher lol 😂
Someone’s always gonna be faster, handle better, look better, have more money. Just build the car how you want it and not care what others think
Great comment!
Facts ‼️
Most truthful comment ever, thats what I say, do it for your liking and yourself and you won't really care what people have to say cause you built it and love it, but if you build something for someone else's appreciation just to look cool and nobody likes it or hates on it, it just will irritate u and make u a negative person, its no diffrent then when you give a gift to somebody and they hate it and u want to stomp them out for it cause you took your time to, anyways that's a diffrent story lol
Idk, I get what you're saying~
But at the sametime, it kinda sounds like something losers tell themselves to coup with losing.
i just wanna coyote swap mine and that'll be enough no ones pushing over 600hp in my area besides the corvettes i see in town
I been hitting the limiter daily on my stock 2 Valve since 2004 and it’s still going strong at 194,000 miles. The 2V don’t get the respect it deserves! IMO the most Durable/Reliable V8 engine Ford ever made! Nice car bro! I have the same car except mine has 03/04 Cobra wheels.
Actually the best engine Ford made based on power/strength and durability is the 03/04 Cobra 4v 4.6. No need to beef up the bullet proof bottom end which can handle well over 700hp.
@@timmorinlinescoot3458 people forget about that damn 4v.
@Tim Morin Line scoot nah they can cook the back 2 cylinders with the stock cooling setup, lots of 4v owners find this out the hard way when they turn up the power and don't do the HCM
My foxbody on the OG 302 with heads, cam, injectors, and intake is at 530k and driven hard as shit 😎
I don’t even have a rev limiter on mine 😭😂
You don’t need a shit ton of power to go fast in a new edge especially with weight reduction. Beautiful car very well put together man.
Thanks man!
Yes you do how else are you gonna go fast without power torque boost fuel tune, if you're simply doing weight reduction you got the wrong idea
@@Itsxthebk14well, of course all that matters but so does weight? No sure what you are saying with this.
@@Venom2002- you don't realize going fast in anything is a giant puzzle every single inch of the car is built with a purpose so saying you don't need alot of power especially when you can just reduce weight is the most ignorant statement you can claim
@@Itsxthebk14 you’re putting words in my mouth, I never said you don’t need power when going fast, I only stated weight is a big deal aswell. There’s a big difference in speed in a car that has 200 hp and weighs 2,000 pounds vs one that has 200 hp and weighs 4,000.
For me, the 2v just has a timeless engine note. Something classic akin to a SBC.
Very impressive. The stock 4.6L is very underrated just as you've done you've turned it into something that is extremely impressive.
Had an 01 a few years back, made 470 on stock bottom end on 9lbs with hp cams and a p-51 intake. Was a fun car and would just dip into the 11’s with full interior.
P71
Lol same intake manifold
Very awesome , very well done for bottom end 2V. You have it getting it done, really damn fast for being under HP against who you are running against.
That's what over 1000 pounds less will do haha
You could of done it for a lot cheaper with a 4cyl
These cars are also very lightweight with a small high rev small v8 cubic inch ohv with endless modular capable.
If you would of just got a 5.3 Ford Performance Boss block and put trickflow heads with a tune and some serious suspension upgrades. You would have a BMW, hell cat, camaro, civic etc killer
4 cyl mods are still expensive. Especially with inflation.
Nice work on the car, and the fact that your a humble down to earth fella, it makes it all the more interesting to cheer you on for the win.
The clean and classy look of the car we can only hope remains, it looks great. Best of luck, Subscribed to see your progress and progress. Good Luck. 👍🏼✌🏼🇺🇸
I’m definitely subbing, I’m not a fan of the 2v engines, but I always say EVERY engine has a chance and your proving it bro!
I have a 4.6 that I'm building. Love the build man! Glad to see someone as enthusiastic about the New Edge as me
This is awesome kid you got a good thing going on!!! love your knowledge of cars. I never knew a lot of the stuff about cars being faster$ great building bro, kudos from New Jersey 😁
Your intro statement earned you a sub. The 4.6 2v is a wonderful v8 and easily one if not Fords best sounding engine imo.
Just came across this video. A svt cobra has always been my dream v8 I’m proud and happy for you ! Continue the journey ❤
Love this video. I have a 1997 fully built made 330 rwhp and 315 torque, was happy with it for a summer. Currently getting a 70mm turbo, Holly EFI and E85. Hoping for 700 rwhp. I’m up in Canada not many “fast” cars here I’ll be a real threat in my city with my car. Can’t wait for 2023
I had a vortech supercharger on my 99 and it was a beast!!! I went three times smaller on the pulley and bigger injectors and a lot of other mods and had it tuned and it was a blast to drive!!! I had 295 drag radials and it still smoked the tires and I only had 373 gears
Nice build brother. Always refreshing to see a unique build. Keep it up. You got a new subscriber in me 💪🏾
Awsome build I love the 4.6 2v, dying for a turbo or vortech supercharger like yours, mine was bought for a daily to until I got that itch as well
Awesome build, seen it rolling around houston before. Love the way a mean new edge looks. Cundn did some work on my fox a few years back, seemed to know there stuff.
😮💨😮💨 clean asf that white and black combo undefeated
Yo I kame across your channel and was lik3 “ wait I know this voice! “ yay yay! I salute, from one player to another!🤞🏿✊🏿
I had a 99 3.8. nothing special, but the sawed-off exhaust sounded beautiful, and it definitely went 130 mph without issues. I loved that car.
Facts. I swear that thing keep accelerating even after the dash is past 120mph in those things
@jacobhrox deffinently true
The 2v is underrated. The 4v brings high-end 2v performance in a tame package. When you do the 2v heads right, it's either purring or violently grabbing the next gear, no in the middle.
Bigger valves, more boost!
"Its just a 2 valve" Man that thing I fast. Mine is still na just 315 to the tire. love your car man, keep it up.
You my friend have made a masterpiece of a video especially with the narrated pov
Not a fan of the 2v for the reasons you've mentioned but man good job my guy that car is pretty quick , nice job on the video it's allways cool to see a build compiled into a short 10 minute video
Just stumbled on your channel and your video production is actually pretty good. I was never a fan of the 2v and most people werent but thats what makes your car great. Everyone in a coyote or lt/ls thinks your an easy win and your videos prove otherwise. Love it when the underdog hurts some feelings and for them boat owners just sell it already lol.
thanks man!
Nice build I had one of these built na and then a zex wet kit. Work on your shifting a little you’re losing a lot of momentum in between shifts. It makes a huge difference.
I had a 99 red mustang get it was red with the Mach 1 sound system and red leather interior loved that car got it when I was like 20. Better times.
I have an 02 Mustang GT. I'm getting ready to rebuild my engine and am looking for options to make it a little faster. Excellent video
This helps a lot i have the same setup vortech ill be doing the same but e85, stage 2 cams, intake and throttle body, headers mid pipe and slp loud mouth exhaust. Im going to build a 4v.
You know what’s crazy one day I was strolling on TikTok and heard your voice on this car and said wait is this ears the cod player then boom went on your page and sure enough it’s you lmaoooo small world man love to see it absolutely love it. You’ve got the best two hobbies possible cars & video games. Keep up the good work man
I respect on sticking with the 2v. Not many would. I dont blame the ones who coyote swap them or even LS swap. The 2v is what i grew up in my teens. So its great to see a 2v run in the streets. Build engine with performance heads will bring the car up some more. 700 hp with that light car will hurt some feelings for sure. Stay safe out there.
Brings back memories I built outta the 281 @ 302 stroker I still remember the crank was a 3.75 stroke lol same vs1 centrifugal ran a best of 11.35 124mph 1/4 mile this was about 14years ago
video was put together good, enjoyed the content
good video keep up the good work! if you kept the 4.10 gears when you had the 28 inch tires it would have felt similar to 3.73 gears and 26 inch tires.
You might be right honestly lol
I was going to say the same thing. 😂 It didn’t make sense to me.
I’m vibing with ya off the caption alone 💯💪🏾 respect same here I rather built than buy
That’s dope man keep doing ya thing .
Sweet man, had a similar setup in my old 2v. Absolutely loved it, surprised a lot of cars back in the day. Only difference is I had blower cams too. They made a dramatic difference and I was able to run less boost on top of it. I trapped 120mph on the stock bottom end and that car seen limiter for YEARS. Feel free to look through some of my vids of it. Also, take it from the old fart thats been there and done it.. if you can swing it, just do the coyote swap. I get the whole underdog mentality, I've been there too, but by the time you're done building the bottom end the way you want it, the costs add up so fast that the price is almost negligible between the two options. Coyotes have been getting cheaper and cheaper, and one thing is for sure, Coyote swapped new edges with some weight reduction are no joke. It's worth it. Especially if you plan to keep the car for a while.
Brother man just put 18+ coyote 10 speed and be done.
@@garycorbett2941 shid, just snag a wrecked gt500 motor/tranny. saw one for sale for 5.2k, blower and all.
@@pumpkinpatch2976 unless your getting the ecm/pcm good luck with the swap.
What's crazy is that 120 MPH trap you hit is what a bone stock auto GT will run right now.
@@Josh-hr5mc Agreed. Amazing how times have changed even in just a short 10 years.
Good job on the 4.6liter built
Great content bruh. Keep it up. Stang gang!
I own the 02. Beautiful car man, It's Clean.
nice clean build. amazing job!!
Thanks!
I just got my installed on my 01 ZY.. sent you a video a few days ago. Inspired by yours. V1, 340lph, 80#injectors. Only difference is I've got a BBK TB and 3.1 pulley. Let me get a copy of your tune map til I get on the dyno🤣
i seen yall race at mexico all the time 10/10
not sure if you care, but if you swap the dashboard lights with led bulbs, the dash glows a beautiful blue instead of green. It would match your aftermarket sound system.
Bro I had no idea you were into cars since im subbed to your gaming channel. sweet asf.
Badass build man!! I did the same with my 2017 3.7 V6. P1SC-1H ProCharger with 11psi, Ortiz Performance E54 tune, BBK longtubes and ported intake manifolds. It definitely doesn’t sound as good as a V8. But she’s at 465ish RWHP right now. Im also on 3.55 gears.
Be careful with that Spectre filter though. The metal center cap could come loose and contact the compressor blades or even worse break loose and chew them up.
Sounds sweet bro
V6 💀💀
@@monke4632 because sound is everything. SMH. 465rwhp is plenty.
Good job on the build and even better job getting out of Chicago my guy
As soon as you said Houston Tx i was like yup they dont play up there, and im just crusinin in my shitbox del sol till the built motor is done and maybe ill head up there for some fun also welcome to texas i always loved that year model of the mustang
Just found this video love it man keep it up
Just stumbled across your video and when I heard you say you like to make slow cars fast I was like yep this my guy
Appreciate it
IDC what anybody says those new edge GTs are fun as hell. Definitely not a freeway pull car but soo much fun for flipping doughnuts and laying strips at green lights. Not to mention that exhaust note is wonderful
Great content my man
Your new edge is exactly my taste well done 👏🔥
Thanks man!
You had me at, "Stock bottom end 400hp". That's all I need
That’s what we all say lol
You did it bro congrats
Nice whip, and she quick too👌🏿👊🏿👍🏿👍🏿🔥🔥💯🇨🇦
I had a ‘96 GT and really liked the 4.6 for daily driving and good fuel mileage however I wasn’t a fan of its anemic power. To rectify that I built a 427 Cleavor and swapped it into that puppy. Never lost to a Coyote or anything else post swap. I like the Coyote but there’s just no replacement for displacement and the guy I sold it to has since added a blower so I don’t know what it’ll do now but I imagine it’s a Monster.
Single turbo and all the necessary supporting mods for it, ported stock heads, valves, valve springs, head studs, custom profiled cams, head gaskets, increased ring gap on the stock pistons and there easy 600-700 wheel the stock bottom end is stronger than people think
I love the underdog build.. I chose to build my 1.6 miata instead of get a 1.8. Just have to build it right and it will be a beast.
cummins swap it
Just got my borla for my 2010 challenge rt can’t wait to hear it
It doesn't matter if it has a 4.6L 2V or a 7.0L ls7 as long as it's a V8 it's great 👍 I'm dying to see you do heads cam intake on your car it's a game changer especially on these modulars, does the new motor have a stroker kit? You can bore and stroke them too a 5.3L. the Chevy boys would sure be mad if a Ford 5.3L dusted them lol
Increased stroke on a 4.6 is kinda more harm than good. Pistons already come out of the cylinder pretty far. A big sleeved aluminum block with bigger pistons would do wonders though
I’m also a fan of the sleeper build. Not sure when it started tho😂 there’s just something better about making something crazy fast opposed to just buying something fast
The 4.6L and 5.4L (rather 2,3, or 4 valves) Modulars may not make as much power as the 5.0L Coyote… but my god do they sound like it. The sound never gets old. No engine ever made has sounded better than them.
I had a 2v this is insane. Everyone said not to build it but you made a monster haha😂
This is absolute killer, if u see this I’m trying to get a build list. I got a 04 manual myself!
Love it bro keep it up 👍💪
High end power on that is insane
You should have got the loudmouth axel back I’ve got xpipe no cats to spl loudmouths they sound amazing
Man good I’m glad I discovered your channel just subscribed!!! Do you have long tube headers and high flow cats??? I have a 06 GT 4.6 and that’s my next mod just want to make sure it’s worth it
Good job man
damn them exhausts sound good asf
New sub. Sick ass set up. Really been thinking about a 2v
Love that a mustang is the only car that needs the title “built not swapped” ❤
Bad ass bro they sleep on them 4.6s 🔥🔥
You killing em bro 😎 with a 20 yr old model 😂 you inspire me bro
Nice bro keep it up!!
Thanks! Will do!
How did your stock bottom end hold up with that horsepower increase? I’m looking to boost my 2000 Mustang GT, but I’m nervous about the pistons and rods giving out past 400 RWHP.
Love the car and the vids. I have a 2002 I'm fixing to start my journey with. I had a question about the intercooler. Did you get the piping done custom? And what brackets were used. I can't find any mustang specific stuff from Treadstone so just curious how yours is done.
Buddy. I did not like you at the beginning of my subscription 2 years ago but your channel have grown into one of my top 5. This video was nicely put together! Question. What did you do with the all back wheels? Can I buy them off ya?
2v love brotha!
Your doing good, Focus on improving yourshifts brother check out the OG gear jamer or any old school racer. The front of the car will never drop just constant pulling
That big running fam
What a beauty
Badass 2v wish mine was that fast 💨
On3 turbo 2V Mustang is a setup you need to take a ride in. Liking the content subbed to your channel...
Thanks for the sub!
Man would be awesome if I can get the money saved to build my 4l80e for my ranger I'd love to bring it down to Texas and race you! Good shit man!
Pretty impressive!
Subbed brotha! Sick build! I have a 2001 GT myself. 2001 Harley F150 too. Today exactly a year ago I drove to Charlotte and picked up a 01 Cobras 4v and a 5 speed trans to swap in my GT. Shes still on the stand cause my 2v in the car is fine. 125k miles. Bone stock. It still surprises me after 3 years of having it, but I wanted more so I ended up looking into the 4v route. After seeing this and a couple videos like yours now I'm torn! How much around about are you spending today to have a 2v built? I literally have a whole 4v swap ready to drop in but it might just get sold for a superchager kit 😅 Bring it out to Mustang Week next year in Myrtle Beach!
Trickflow heads brother, you wouldn't regret them
By far the best mustang gen ever made.
Mexico is such a cool place
Major respect for that 2v
Very cool car I have always loved the 4th gen mustang and knew they could make power.
How has your build cost you so far
still my dream modified car
great video man
@ EARS POV - Hey, that's great what you've done with your '04 SN95 New Edge Mustang. Where were you when I owned one? It would have been great to build up my old 1996 GT. Just messin' with ya! Seriously, though, SN95s are great performance car platforms. Since they've been around so long, they are well-sourced for after-market parts, and since the base cars - V6s and GTs - are not all that popular as collector cars (not yet, anyway), you can get one at a decent price. They're lighter than many competing cars, too, which is always nice if you want drag-strip performance.
Some folks might yawn at 450 hp, but in a street car daily driver, that's plenty respectable. And if you drive it alot, you want that power to be streetable and usable. It's of little benefit to have 600-700 hp on tap if you are running a stock rear-end, stock transmission, suspension and street tires. 450 on the other hand, is a usable figure.
I'm an older guy now, a gear-head from way back. Honestly, what younger people have done in performance after-market car build-ups is amazing to an old war-horse like me. Back in the late 1970s when I was a teenager hoping to own a 1970 442 W30 Oldsmobile Cutlass (fat chance!), 300-400 hp from a car was considered very good performance. Today, economy cars with 4-cylinder engines are making that. So a tip of the hat to you guys.... very impressive. I rented a 2012 Mustang 3.5L V-6 back around that time. The thing was a screamer, and it made as much power as the SN95 Cobras did in 1996-1998. Naturally-aspirated, too.
Like your style, too, in making a real sleeper. Bet folks get some surprised looks on their faces when your 2004 dusts them!
Awesome car man
Well done with the 2 valve, I've got a 97' 2v even with the NPI heads lol l, I plan on giving it to my god son so we can progress build like this while his school buddies are playing ok thoer parents evs ...ugh
should give a MaC exhaust a shot personally I think it was the best sounding only coming 2nd to the flowmaster 20 series , but those are hard as shit to find now BUT worth every single penny.
