You are a great story teller. I’ll never forget the first time I took my Filipina to target practice and how nervous she was. After 32 years of marriage, she has become a very proficient shooter with multiple weapons. We now live in rural Kansas and we built our own firearms range. Coming from a Brit who is just about to move and live permanently in the Philippines I’ve found your experiences and differences about living in the west extremely interesting and useful it’s given me a few answers to a few questions I had about Filipino culture so Salamat for that and your channel
I’m married to a Filipina for 21 years, your experience is very much like my wife’s experience, we live in the country and I have a ton of guns and I also have that same dry sense of humor and I often have to explain the joke to the wife but that’s just adds to her charm to me, she’s an amazing cook and a very hard worker as well as being pretty smart and nice to look at, I feel blessed.
As an American I have a Vietnamese wife and the things you bring up about being married to someone not from America culture makes me laugh because my Wife and I have had the same . Back up plan, sense of humor and such . Had to laugh. Great video and very true!
I have been warned that Sarcasm is kryptonite to the Filipina 🤣 Thanks for sharing your experience with this. Many of these others I would have just assumed are "normal" and so hearing the cultural differences/understandings is very interesting. And yea, I'm in TX and nobody is getting into my house without the installation of sprinklers. Marriage has become such a wasteland in America. It was so refreshing to watch a committed Filipina wife discuss her experiences with Cano.

I don't always post videos since it's just a hobby, but I'm glad you're here! See you on my next one ❤.

Oh Darlin, you're an absolute gem. ❤ Your husband sounds like he and I came from the same family. 😂 I appreciated your video so much I had to share with my Filipina gal. Thank you.
Interesting video! I can resonate with several of your stories. 1. I was getting gas at about 2am after a gig and my son was approached by a guy with a knife. I advised him to back off, and also that his knife would do him no good. He didn't get the message until I opened my jacket and we avoided a problem (I don't draw my sidearm unless I have decided to use it). I actually made money on my grandparents cattle ranch in east Texas by shooting gophers. I was 6 or 7 at the time and was well trained on guns. There was always a 22 leaning against the screen door frame in the kitchen, loaded. 2. I have lots of family that love baseball, but it was never my thing. However, I do have a 2nd or 3rd cousin a couple times removed that started an umpire school in Arkansas back in the 20s or 30s and introduced baseball to Florida. BTW, if your husband has an autographed baseball jersey, don't wash it. My wife is stubborn and probably would wash it anyway, even if I asked her not to, like using bleach on rubber-back bath rugs after I warned her not to (an expensive lesson). 3. I love Mexican food even off a truck, but really loved a 7 course meal I got in Santa Fe, New Mexico once. They used a different chili in each course, including habanero chilis in the Watermelon Sorbet dessert. The restaurant was in a two story house about 300 years old. Just the chilis' flavor was emphasized, and very controlled heat. They also have a huge plaza with a big church built on the site of a former Spanish church from the 1600s. They used small pine logs for the ceiling. Probably early 1800s construction.

However for me, as soon as I told the guy who was kicking my door that I was going to open the door and I had a gunski, he immediately disappeared. It's sad that so many homes and stores inside Atlanta have to have bars on windows and doors. At least it lets everyone else know that's not a place to be at night (and many times in the daytime).
Tell your husband this joke The Atlanta braves owner says the team is doing so bad this season that he made a deal with Bong bong to move the team to the Philippines: he’s gonna call them the “Manila folders”
Haha, American humor is an unholy alliance of English and German humor. English: Watches you put too much sugar with your coffee. "would you like some coffee with your sugar? Germans: Your wife dies, the German goes "ha she can finally rest with out you snoring".
Collectivism is valued more than individualism in The Philippines 🇵🇭. The opposite happens in the USA 🇺🇸. The Bill of Rights ✅ values the rights of the individual more than the rights of the collective. Americans think that putting sugar with avocados 🥑 is weird. 🤪 Filipinos who visit the USA 🇺🇸 get surprised 😮 that most people with Spanish names are not Filipino: they are mostly Latino. Tex Mex is different than Mexican 🇲🇽. Tagalog has Spanish words. But they are often not pronounced or spelled as Latinos would. Filipinos tend to pronounce words with s with sh. Like siete as shee-ete. Latinos will say this is wrong! 😖 Sibuyas is Tagalog. But, in Spanish, that is the wrong spelling: it is cebollas. Baseball ⚾️ 🧢 is what is 1 of the 4 major team sports popular in the USA 🇺🇸: the others are basketball 🏀, gridiron football 🏈 and ice hockey 🏒. I played baseball ⚾️ in high school. American English uses jargon from baseball ⚾️: throwing a curve, getting 2nd base, playing hard ball are some expressions. Whoever wants to know the mind of America had better learn the rules and realities of the game -- and do it by watching first some high school 🏫 or sma town teams. -- Jacques Barzun. On the plaque near AT and T Park, my hometown San Francisco 🌉, home of the Giants.
but avocado has barely any taste at all, it's pretty much .. fat .. fat exists to draw out the taste of other things not just add sugar and milk and eat it as a treat :/ ?
Good video & don’t worry, soon you’ll grow tired of him and his jokes, there’s lots of other americans will take you and his baby in (Now there’s an American joke!)
You speak as fast as an American teenager….. I would live to listen to you but not at this speed. Talking so fast may hint on a lack of content? Not sure. Think who you are loosing and who and if will you gain speaking that fast…

Americans think that putting sugar with avocados 🥑 is weird. 🤪
Filipinos who visit the USA 🇺🇸 get surprised 😮 that most people with Spanish names are not Filipino: they are mostly Latino.
Let me ask you a question please. If you ask your husband a question and he says i dont know, dont ask me. What would be your reaction?
I'd stop asking because it means two things: he either doesn't have an answer or he doesn't want to answer.
Americans can't stand losing. Especially to Canadian teams lol
I can relate to that feeling! 😂
Do you know about Efren "Bata" Reyes?
Ofcourse! A legend!

02:25 Can you give an example of her perceived offensive joke. Maybe two or three. I like jokes! :)
Haha 😅. Thanks for watching!
Is that a shadow box for your husband’s US Military medals?
but avocado has barely any taste at all, it's pretty much .. fat ..
fat exists to draw out the taste of other things not just add sugar and milk and eat it as a treat :/ ?
Its not very healthy but it's good too! 😅
My wife has avocado on toast every morning. I don't get it myself because they are more of a texture than a flavor.
good job 🖕

Nope. I love my husband's family name, and I intend to keep it till I die.
You’re being brained washed😮in a good way! Great bruh!
Yeah, I try.
You speak as fast as an American teenager…..
I would live to listen to you but not at this speed.
Talking so fast may hint on a lack of content?
Not sure.
Think who you are loosing and who and if will you gain speaking that fast…
I'm sure that's what's really bothering you.
Thanks!
