Great video. I've been checking out Point Reyes videos, and this is my favorite so far. Beautiful photography, and I like how you show it's a planned itinerary that can be completed in one day. Inverness with shipwrecks, Cypress Tree Tunnel, Sea Lion Overlook, South Beach Overlook, Lighthouse, Elephant Seal Overlook, Chimney Rock, and Drake's Beach with more elephant seals.

Thank you very much! Ya, all in one day. It's an amazing place. I still plan on going back and getting in some hikes. It's a very unique place. I hope you get to see it all 🙂. Thanks again for this awesome comment.

Yay! Glad you went. What a beautiful area, right? Hoping my video spurned you guys to check out the area. I feel, as I mentioned previously, it's such an underappreciated area IMO. Great footage of the elephant seals!

Thank you! I did a ton of research on the area, but unfortunately, not on how to pronounce the names 🤣. I learn from every video 😉. Amazing location!

Hey, just found your channel while doing a little prep work: my wife and I are taking a trip to Central California (our third one in 5 years) at the end of May and the first two videos of yours I found - this one and the Big Sur/Monterey/Santa Cruz one - are right in line with our vacation. Great videos!

Good video sir, The Fog (1980) movie(which was shot at the lighthouse and in that area) was on tv last night and there was a shot right at the overlook and I thought it looked incredible so had to do some research and ended up at your video, thanks for sharing!

Hello, great video! There are so many different trailheads out there and I was wondering, where can I find the location of that welcome sign in your video at 1:35 ? Thank you!

Thank you! I'm not exactly sure how to describe it. Essentially after the Point Reyes boat, head to the Cypress trees and you will come upon it. Hope you find it 🙂

Great video! The area looks beautiful, I have never been to Point Reyes, but now I want to go! the elephant seals look crazy specially how they move, I've only seen them laying there making strange noises, never on the run like that that's great!
Whats up with the lighthouse? Why was it closed?

Thanks! The lighthouse and all the indoor stuff was closed for covid. I figured I'd at least get to walk down to the lighthouse because it's all outside but nope. I'm planning more videos in the area; really beautiful area!

Good question. I try and add that into my videos. This trip was rushed and we did not stop anywhere fun to eat. I also would have to look. Next trip I'll check out fun spots to eat nearby.

Hey, we got there fairly early and was able to do all this comfortably in 1 day. Amazing place. I'm guessing we probably got there by or before 10am.
