Very cool. I haven’t played Everdale yet, but I agree the art is fantastic. It’s great that you have played it with at least one child at the end and you seem overjoyed to have done so. That made me smile. 😊 Great video. Thanks for sharing.
It's always a blast introducing the next generation to board games! And there are SO many more amazing options for kids than there were when I was that age! 😅 I hope you get a chance to try Everdell sometime soon-it really is a wonderful game! And thank you so much for the comment! ☺️
I got this for my 9 year old for Christmas last year and we love it! It isn't too complicated but does require some good decision making. I've never played the original Everdell but am hopeful my kids and I can play one day!
Wow, that’s awesome! And you’re right about the decision making! I think after My Lil’ Everdell, regular Everdell isn’t too much of a leap! There’s also Farshore which is a bit simpler and more streamlined than Everdell; you might want to look into that if you haven’t already! I reviewed that one recently! ua-cam.com/video/lpXB1GA4LT4/v-deo.htmlsi=KLofI_50Z7GDAeMp
I’m so happy to hear it! This game is definitely one I can highly recommend for kids-plus it introduces them to concepts that are very common in many other modern board games! ☺️
This is now called “Welcome to Everdell” after most reviewers calling streamlined Everdell, but with too much reading and tricky rules for 6 year olds. 😊
Haha, “Welcome to Everdell” is perfect! ☺️ And yes, I can certainly see a six year old playing this game with some coaching from a parent/older sibling, but as far as playing on their own, 8+ seems like a better age rating!

This video really helped me understand the game and if my kids can play it. It is now much higher on my Christmas list!

Now you need to get and review the new Everdell Duo 2-player only game. Complete the series. 😊
I've seen some things about Everdell Duo and I'm very intrigued about the co-op mode and the campaign! ☺️ I'd love to give that a try with Hannah!
Can I just say that I am PUMPED for my daughter to turn 8 (or 6 if she’s a prodigy) so I can introduce the wonderful world of worker placement to her?
I’m so pumped for that, too! ☺️ How old is she now? (And I’m sure she could handle My Lil’ Everdell at six!) 🧠

Oh my goodness, that’s amazing!! 🥹 I can’t wait to ask you lots of newborn-related questions so soon!! 🥰
“Prince Pumpernicker” 🤣
Hahaha!! 🤣 That is what I said, isn’t it?

Sir you deserve more subscribers! #mormon #familyhomeevening
Wow, that is so kind of you! I really appreciate it! 😊
I still have Everdell in my shelf of shame for like 3 years lol.
You’re kidding me!! 😳 Get it to the table, dude!! 🤣
@@BoardGameDave Some people in my group complained that Challengers was complicated lol, so you see my dilemma.
@zmollon Sounds like you need a new gaming group! 😉 Maybe My Lil’ Everdell would be a better fit for them!
Here are some metal coins I prepared earlier
Haha, right? 🤣
