Of course! ☺️ I’ll always do my best to be unbiased when it comes to how I feel about a game! Thank you so much for checking out the video and for commenting, Emma!
Thank you for stopping by, Rob! ☺️ It is pricey for sure! The retail/base game version is going for a decent price but those wooden components are SO nice I’d be hard-pressed to not pay the extra cost for them! 😬
Thank you so much for the comment! ☺️ Stardew Valley is also a very cute game, although I've never played it! I'd like to give it a try sometime, though!
I bought this after seeing it at GenCon. It’s so gorgeous, I get cozy Stardew/Ghibli vibes. I do worry a bit about length. Do you think there’s any way to cut a couple rounds outs to make a shorter game or would that be unsatisfying?
It does give Stardew Valley/Ghibli vibes for sure! ☺️ I've been thinking about a potential way to house rule the game to make it a little bit shorter (especially at higher player counts) but the downside is that-as you implied-it might feel unsatisfying because you won't be getting as much done. There is a solo scenario where you start with a skill token of your choosing so that could be used to jumpstart players' resource-gathering engines! Maybe just playing five days (one fewer round), no wiping the board after the third day (a new location is fine), and letting all players choose a starting skill token would work? I wouldn't be able to suggest a good house rule without trying it out myself first, but that's the best I can come up with off the top of my head! 😅 Maybe you'll find that it doesn't take you or your gaming group as long to get through, who knows? Thank you for your comment, Luke! I hope you enjoy the game!
Game looks fun! Just might be hard for me to convince the boys to frolic through the gardens with me finding recipes 😅 it was hard enough convincing them to play love letters with me 🤣
Haha, you can be a macho man and still frolic through bountiful gardens... right? 💐 (I'd argue that foraging for food is actually a very stereotypically masculine thing to do!) 💪🏼 Glad you got your boys to play Love Letter with you, though! I was surprised with how much I enjoyed that one! Good choice! ☺️ Thanks for swinging by and for the comment, Joe!
I appreciate how honest you are even having been sent a free review copy! 🙏🏻

Wow, this looks like the perfect cozy game for a lazy sunday afternoon. I love the art style and those vibrant colours. 😍
You’re absolutely right! The art is gorgeous and it might be the coziest game I have in my collection! ☺️
Nice review, BGD. This does look interesting. Price is a little prohibitive.
