Playing the entire war and having to balance remaining strong enough to avoid invasion yet neutral enough to avoid getting attacked by anyone. And having to balance your trade while being threatened by your neighborhood? Challenging. But not interesting
I hope that one of the next major dlcs focuses on Scandinavia, also unrelated but Germany could really use a focus tree update, they only have one alternate tree and it's....less than stellar

Ignore Poland, assimilate the Danes then forge an alliance with Finland Sweden and Norway, take the fight to the Russias directly after investigation of Poland's political leanings. Do you fight with the Winged Hussars at your side or do you fight through Poland to confront the Russians.
Meanwhile Britian will get angsy and end up invading France. Or Norway. Or Spain to back up Portrigal and end up in its own war
And The USA needs to pick a side. Instead of being a guarantor of British warmongering
Norway, should they join, supplies manpower and raw resources from international trade, Sweden a highly efficient military complex. Finland well trained soldiers, Germany, research and development.

You should do a playthrough as Austria-Hungary, see if you can hold better than the AI.

Apparently there is a really good mod for a Swedish tree. It’s called, well, Swedish focus tree, and It has a soldier carrying a Swedish flag on the picture thingy. It actually is a really good tree, and there is a lot you can do. (I’d recommend the Swedish Empire route, you get to unite with Norway and the Baltics, and wargoals on Finland, Denmark, Germany, and the Soviet Union.). It’s really fun and worth every second! Full of 35 day focuses to!

Took a look at some numbers and according to inflation, GDP and GDP per capita, the Swedes lost over 24 million dollars in the great strike which according to their gdp per capita of 10 000 dollars was a fuck ton, so yes

Lol i literally did that yesterday what are the odds😆. I joined the reichspakt didn't get far in Russia, naval invaded south of Finland didn't get almost anywhere. Invaded Denmark in hopes of blocking access for the allies in the Baltic. Used my portguards for that didn't manage to defeat Denmark because I couldn't launch naval invasions. Uk launched a naval invasion took half my country i ragequit. My 26 divisions could have stood no chance

Fun fact Alex! We have 3 basic subjects we MUST be approved in before reaching High School. It's Swedish, Math and English. Else we can't join any higher educations and have to stay behind/go to a special school to read up the lost subject.

As a swede myself i would agree that 99 % of swedes can English. But i would't say that every one is good at it and i would defently not say that we don't have a accent. I think every swede can agree that if you hear a swedish person speak English you hear that pretty clear. Then pepole often speak svengelska ( when you speak enligsh but say some swedish word some times and you hear the accent). Btw good video
We have Germish in Germany as well, spiking English with the occasional German word or vice versa.
@@petereissing5070 thats certainly fine to a native english speaker, english has far more than it's share of words borrowed from other languages, plus maybe it keeps things interesting and authentic
As a frequent visitor to Sweden i'll always find it strange hearing Swedes using random English words and phrases right in the middle of Swedish conversations.

Every video I've seen of this mod ends up the same. No matter how well the player is doing if they're not playing as Germany they get screwed by the peace treaty event by the AI.

There’s a fun strategy you should try. If you declare war on Albania as the soviets as soon as possibly Italy will join the war. And if you put your navy out before the war is declared you get a naval invasion 100% of the time.
To make your life easier you should keep Ethiopia alive with mountaineer volunteers and rush logistic companies.
Alex please, you can build supply hubs, you dont have to capture the Russian supply hubs

If you want your navy to engage, just put it on always engage. And dont splitt it in two like that, you need all your heavy and light guns when you navy is so small

Ahem, I'm sure he knows that. But building supply hubs is not exactly a viable strategy, given that they take forever to build, especially without any stat boosts.

@@InfiniteDeckhand Think he still had the decision availble, and seeing how he was stuck in the same spot for a year a hub would probably have been worth it.
@@InfiniteDeckhand you don't need to build new ones, as long as you upgrade the railway lines connecting to your existing one in the area to your capital, it gives you plenty of supply range when combined with motorisation.
