    I believe the popularity of the first video isn't as much because we, as men, want to see what a good outfit looks from the perspective of a woman, but from you beeing a really down to earth person. Trust me, every video that I've watched of a woman talking about men fashion has either such a condescending tone or kills every kind of creative input from us ... by the half point of the video you don't really care about what women say anymore. It's genuinely the first video of a woman talking about men fashion that I could finish watching and actually enjoyed.

    Sarah, you really are doing a great job for us men to get more creative. I really appreciate that and because of that I believe you could help me with my tiny problem. What I am struggling with right now is that I really love oversized Tees. I just don't know how to layer them, because as you said with buttonups under a sweater it just gets too bulky when I layer them. I am kinda skinny guy and I am a street dancer so I love the nonformal style that is trending for last few years. If you could give me any tip about what to put on top of oversized Tees during the winter/early spring season, I would really appreciate that. Thanks

      I love when people wear thermal long sleeves or waffle knit long sleeves under baggy tshirts! U could also wear knits from the thrift store overtop, wear a hoodie overtop or under the shirt, but my personal favorite is wearing a nice warm thermal long sleeve underneath I think that always looks great under a tshirt:) and thank u sm!

      I'll offer a suggestion in case you are open to them - season appropriate knitwear worn over the oversized tee so that some of the tee is visible below where the knitwear ends, and then finish it off with outerwear that's longer than the tee.
      So basically you've got this layered dynamic that's pretty cohesive and flows well.
      Chore coats are one option for the outerwear piece, but there are many options. I just personally wouldn't do like a cropped bomber or something where your tee ends up being the longest piece. It won't work.

    • @legdary4247
      @legdary4247 11 днів тому

      @@fkcoolers2669 Appreciate your suggestion. Two things I don't really like about this layering, but maybe I am just doing it wrong. When I put an oversized T-shirt under a shorter hoodie or a sweater, 2 things happen.
      If the outer layer is tight at the bottom so it don't let the cold in the T-shirt gets squashed and starts looking like a skirt and if I put on a wider piece, then the cold gets under the hoodie and the T-shirt. And unfortunately I easily get sick so I don't want to wear it like that regularly.
      If you have any suggestions on what I should do differently I will be happy to hear them.

I d love too but idk why I dont know how to make it fit with my style cause I love to have a lot of variety in those. • @sarahhdaniellle
      @sarahhdaniellle  2 місяці тому +6

      Hey! So I have a few suggestions, take them or leave them dress however you’d like ofcourse! These are also tips to lengthen ur height. If that’s ur goal some tips are to make sure ur not wearing high waisted pants, and make sure the crotch depth is short so it elongates your legs. Also stick with the tip of having ur shirt hit mid-belt area when ur arms are rested, because if the shirt is too long it will shorten ur legs. Opt for shorter sleeves, that are about mid-bicep or shorter because if they’re any longer it will make ur arms/torso look shorter. Opting for boot cut/straight leg pants is also great! If the pants are too baggy it will almost look like ur drowning in fabric if that makes sense which shortens u a bit. Straight/boxy tshirts instead of super slouchy ones, and if u wear taller/more platformed shoes make sure the pants sit slouchy on the shoes but not necessarily touching the ground. If ur gonna shorten ur pants I’d also recommend getting them hemmed instead of just rolling them, because when ur shorter, rolling the pants makes it look like the pants are just too long on u rather then a style choice:) also I think a great way to seek ur shirts to fit u is seen at 8:28 ! A touch longer, so like I said it will sit at mid belt, but the baggy-ness level and sleeve length is great. Hope this helps!

Also thank you for the tip on the platform shoes, i just noticed today that the pants that sit on more of the shoes then the ones that sit above the shoe make the outfit look better so you saying that makes it even clearer to me!

      @sarahhdaniellle  2 місяці тому

      That’s actually not true. LOL. Some jeans are low waisted because they’re supposed to sit super baggy but have a longer crotch depth because that’s a style. If people wore low waisted pants with a long crotch depth as if they were high waisted, the pants would sit like capris because they’re not supposed to be high waisted pants

      @GanymedeGang 2 місяці тому

      @@sarahhdaniellle First of all, sorry for the "LOL" that was rude of me. Crotch depth is a body measurement while rise is a garment measurement related to fit. I just think rise would be the better talking point. I've never seen crouch depth as a measurement on jeans before because wouldn't it be different for everyone? I think rise measurement would be better to talk about because high rise is high rise on pretty much everyone and low rise is low rise on pretty much every one. But after all it is your video. @@labaningombam8556if a pair of jeans that is catered to woman is marketed as low waisted and has a long crotch depth, the pants are still low waisted. If a pant is worn to be low waisted it will be sewn differently then if it was made to be high waisted

    I get what you mean by large watches, but Rolex is just a watch brand and comes in several different models. There are models with different sized faces so I’m assuming you’re speaking about a specific type of watch that several other manufacturers make as well. For example, most manufacturers make dive watches, chronographs, dress watches and so forth. For dive watches, Rolex has the submariner, Omega has the seamaster, and for chronographs, Rolex has the Daytona and Omega has the speedmaster, and for dress watches Rolex has the cellini and Omega has the constellation. What I’d agree with is that watches with a large face and loud personality aren’t great accessories.

    I feel like you are just not liking the other guyz styles because, you are having a very much bias towards soft boy aesthetic, and finding quirks like crotch length, sleeve length etc, inorder to just fit your preference of a style, although some points of yours i agree with.

    • @sarahhdaniellle
      @sarahhdaniellle  2 місяці тому +4

      It’s not to fit my preference of style because fit doesn’t always have something to do with style. The way something sits on ur body changes whether or not it looks good on u which has nothing to do with aesthetic or like style preferences it is just to do with ur proportions and how one person might look great with higher waisted pants and another might not. For example I look much less flattered in high waisted pants and low waisted definitely suits me much more, but that doesn’t have anything to do with my aesthetic it just has to do with the fact that when I wear high waisted pants it looks really weird and out of place on me. That’s the point I was trying to make with the video(at least the first section), no matter what ur Style or aesthetic is there are certain things that flatter u and certain things that don’t. My channel is a very “take it or leave it” place with advice because, just like everyone keeps saying, it’s just my opinion. A lot of people have been getting upset and saying that this video is full of bias or opinion, but they forget that that’s the point and that will always be the point. In my channel I’m only able to deliver my own opinion which is formed from biases I’ve developed throughout my life. Whether or not they’re true is strictly subjective, even tho for me my opinions are objective. Also just want to say I hope my reply doesn’t sound rude! I’m just trying to explain my point:)

    I disagree strongly with the take on watches. I believe I understand where you're going with it, but I think it's poorly expressed. The watch brand is one thing, and the sizing of the watch on the wrist is another. I believe that watches that look disproportionately large on the wrist don’t suit anyone. Of course, there are watches that are subjectively unappealing, but singling out a brand because you associate it with a group of people you’ve had a bad experience with seems very naïve. I suggest you take a look at Rolex watches like the Cellini King Midas reference 4315-a beautiful watch.
