I genuinely appreciate hearing about men’s fashion from a woman’s perspective. I feel like you offer unique insights on how to style outfits that go beyond the typical choices, embracing pieces that are more androgynous that push past strictly “masculine” styles. Thank you for that!
😊Well as a gay man looking to upgrade my wardrobe, I’m exploring a more ‘masculine’ style after typically dressing with a more feminine touch, so this is all new to me. My biggest challenge is finding the right fit, especially being tall-I’m not always sure how certain pieces should fit, so some guidance would be super helpful. I’d also love some ideas for fun, stylish outfits for going out or clubbing that aren’t too plain. I enjoy adding androgynous qualities to my style, so if you have any suggestions that bring in that flair, I’m open to it! Also where to buy said pieces especially quality brands or statement pieces men’s high fashion in general , I’d be interested in that too.
this was a nice watch, a lot of content I've seen on tiktok where women talk about male fashion is usually framed as "here's what I find hot, people who dress like this get laid, people who dress like that don't" which is very condescending and the creator rarely acknowledges that their personal taste is not all women's taste, or that men's fashion isn't just about what women think, so this was very well thought out and polite and super super helpful
layering kills me because whenever I look for inspo 99% of fits are layered and I'm like... dog I live in the south, I'll die of heat wearing this in Spring through early Fall lmao
1. layer over tank tops and loose fitting baggy pants 2. rely on linen material clothes during hot days, they're super breathable 3. fuck it, you can still look fly without layering; proportions and color will always be more important

hey! it's very clear you know your stuff. that was good inspo, thanks :) i have some suggestions tho if you dont mind: the second part was easier to follow for me, as still images work better compared to scrolled thru screen recordings (those should be higher frame rate and slowed down). i would also find a compromise between the second part (from 10:15) and the last 3 minutes by shifting the camera a lil bit to have a 70:30 ratio estate (you on the bigger side and exemplary images taking 30% of the screen), both because the last part is the most viewed one and if you're in the image you can have it balance throughout the vid, and because on smaller devices images are just too small compared to where you most likely edited the video. maybe i was obvious in that case sorry! good stuff keep it up you got a new sub 😌

Great video! I feel like the men in the photo are closely inspired by Tyler the Creator which is a good thing since it shows that more men are fashion-conscious but I think it's also easy to fall into that trap of trying to do everything with your wardrobe at once. It makes everyone look same-same while vying to be unique
just get boxier stuff not to tight clothing and focus on getting the proportions right and is a 5,6 dude yeah finding stuff that fits right is hard but it's crucial and it takes time but its worth it
I'm 5'1 as a dude and wear these kind of outfits shown in the video. It's all about knowing your proportions. I often bring clothes to a tailor to get the proportions right for example
I’ll make a video on knowing your proportions for u! I’m 5’8, and I know ofc we would have diff builds but I know how I’d wear all these fits to my height. The replies are right proportions are everythinggggg
Love the video. Very inspiring for me (as a guy). I’d love to have nice loafers, but it seems impossible to find some for my narrow feet that I don’t slip out of. Men’s loafers are too wide and women’s loafers don’t go up to my size :((
This was great but I love it when anyone young says that their style is timeless. Of course you think it’s timeless; you’re not old enough to have seen things change yet 😂
If you are looking for a black jumper that looks really similar to the one that you showed (that wouls suit your bf) check out if weekday are still stocking their Leo jumper. Its kinda shitty and plasticy but I love mine still, wear it all the time
A corduroy jacket is an effective way to add texture to an outfit, especially a tone-on-tone's one (same idea with the different fabrics of the all-black outfit at 20:58 : thick knit sweater / smooth cotton pants / shiny leather shoes and bag)
My biggest problem with my fashion is that i have a feminine face and frame as a guy and I don't really know what I can pull off because every inspo I see is from guys a lot more masculine than me
Fair enough! Honestly it’s hard to learn to adapt. Watch my video about how to find your personal style and once you’ve gone through those steps and you know exactly what clothing style you love the best and what outfits you like, try on those clothes and outfits and figure out what’s not necessarily fitting. For example, for me if my style was edgier and more like dark, but I have a very soft face with medium contrast and feminine features, inmight look out of place in the clothes. Some ways I can personally fix that Is in my piercings, accessories, I can get an edgier haircut that’s more mullet or wolf cut, I can wear edgier makeup, I can get more noticeable tattoos etc. For you if you’re not comfortable in makeup a great step in any direction of style is hair. Hairstyles are so important and if you discover your personal style, try and make your hair match that more. Seeing as you said you have a more feminine face, maybe try a more masculine/edgier hairstyle. Something more feathers and textured!
@serendipity-discoverohh I see. Actually all of the men in my life who wear cropped tees are straight. I think it may have gotten lost in translation. When I say cropped, I mean hemmed to a shorter length than originally bought. I speak in a lot of videos how I think men’s best shirt length is when the shirt hits mid-belt area, when the arms are rested! Which is the length I meant here:)
I liked the video, but found the men's clothes a bit safe and standard(as most menswear is) I would live to see one that is more fantasy/aspirational or creative personal style interesting outfits
It is not only about being comfortable with it. Me as a men can not wear womans clothes becaouse they don't fit me, but all my female friends wear men clothes. It is not about being chill about it couse i really don't give a shit about what people think about me in girl clothes I just can't😢
Technicallyyyyy if u buy a different or bigger size u usually can, some of my tshirts hoodies and maybe even jeans my boyfriend can wear because I like clothes to be oversized
I love your fit and setting. I am a guy but I am often inspired by women fashion because it’s more diverse and forward.

This was great but I love it when anyone young says that their style is timeless. Of course you think it’s timeless; you’re not old enough to have seen things change yet 😂
Obrigado pelo video sarah, salve do brazil para voces !!
Love that haha!
Great video!
do you have the link for the stussy hat?
Bro thank you for putting me on 🤝
amazing video just discoverd you love from france.
Unreal!
If you are looking for a black jumper that looks really similar to the one that you showed (that wouls suit your bf) check out if weekday are still stocking their Leo jumper. Its kinda shitty and plasticy but I love mine still, wear it all the time
great vid btw!
Give me advice on how to talk to women 😫🙏🏼
thanks for the great video
What model stussy hat are you rocking?
Heyyy I can’t find the color on the site anymore but the style is MID-DEPTH BIG STOCK SNAPBACK (ignore the all caps I copied and pasted haha)
What’s your opinion on corduroy jackets? Amazing video btw
A corduroy jacket is an effective way to add texture to an outfit, especially a tone-on-tone's one (same idea with the different fabrics of the all-black outfit at 20:58 : thick knit sweater / smooth cotton pants / shiny leather shoes and bag)
Tbh it’s hard to say! It all depends on the color the style and how it ties in with the fit:)
as a 5’8 guy, if i wear any of this baggy shit i’ll look like a gnome.
Dress pants with pleats, should always be baggy or full cut to be functional.
Anything for straight men?
All of this?
@sarahhdaniellle in my opinion a lot of us straight men won't do a lot of stuff in this like the dropped tee so that's why I was asking
@@sarahhdaniellle thanks, one more thing do u have any advice for like first getting into fashion on a budget
It is not about being chill about it couse i really don't give a shit about what people think about me in girl clothes
I just can't😢
Technicallyyyyy if u buy a different or bigger size u usually can, some of my tshirts hoodies and maybe even jeans my boyfriend can wear because I like clothes to be oversized
This video!!
Great NPC stuff
Something being common doesn’t make it NPC🫶 to me NPC is Zara boy H&M style
You’re cool so it’s ok 😌
The three guys with Avirex jacket, one is lambojimmy
I just bought a brown leather jacket for 5€ in thrfit haha
20:15 my favorite
It's like walking into a Gadzooks in 1998

Can u make more videos on men's fashions
Love form India ♥️🇮🇳
Absolutely!
