I genuinely appreciate hearing about men’s fashion from a woman’s perspective. I feel like you offer unique insights on how to style outfits that go beyond the typical choices, embracing pieces that are more androgynous that push past strictly “masculine” styles. Thank you for that!
😊Well as a gay man looking to upgrade my wardrobe, I’m exploring a more ‘masculine’ style after typically dressing with a more feminine touch, so this is all new to me. My biggest challenge is finding the right fit, especially being tall-I’m not always sure how certain pieces should fit, so some guidance would be super helpful. I’d also love some ideas for fun, stylish outfits for going out or clubbing that aren’t too plain. I enjoy adding androgynous qualities to my style, so if you have any suggestions that bring in that flair, I’m open to it! Also where to buy said pieces especially quality brands or statement pieces men’s high fashion in general , I’d be interested in that too.
Finally found the style inspiration I've been searching for! Your long-format videos are exactly what I've been craving-so much more depth and insight than what I've seen elsewhere. Love how you break everything down and actually make fashion feel accessible. Keep up the amazing content!
I’m so happy you like it! Growing up I never knew what people were talking about because no one took the time to explain! I’m so happy u liked it!
As a guy I appreciate that you're dabbling in mens fashion. Unisex is the way to go. I have some womens pieces in my closet and frankly prefer them over mens because of the unique silhouettes that are women exclusive. Keep these videos coming you have a new subscriber!
my only critique with this video is that i dont think it shows many if any guys that are of larger sizes, most of them seem rather skinny or fit, whereas guys whom are larger are pretty common, and may not be able to pull off some of these looks i feel
I agree completely! the lack of size range is on me, I should be looking up different body types and including them in each example:) thank you for reminding me im going to put a reminder on my notes for my mens fashion video im posting next week so that while im editing I remember to be more inclusive:) thank u !
I love your taste in fashion. It’s also cool to see a woman’s perspective on men’s fashion. I just found your channel with this video and I subscribed right away :)
I think without realizing it men/masc presenting people suffer from the same issue as women/fems: clothes are made for people who are tall and skinny. many of the pictures you pulled were of seemingly tall, fit men (not necessarily your fault tho, sadly that’s pinterest) i imagine there’s a large portion of men looking at these fits and thinking “well i don’t look like that so i can’t wear it”
I know exactly what u mean! I do make sure to look at the outfit and not the person and specifically try to look up different body types but have a hard time finding the outfits I was looking for represented on different body types :/ I’ll make sure to make it clear in my future videos that the body does not make the outfit:)

Great thoughts on men’s fashion I think it’s always good to have a woman’s perspective. Fancy with a twist and smart style are the same thing though right?
I’d say they’re similar but by fancy with a twist I mean more like adding fancy elements to any sort of different aesthetic. Like taking “fancy” clothes or business wear and adding it to an edgy emo outfit, or even like a super pastel outfit or just an everyday look! Just incorporating fancy clothes in whatever fashion you normally wear too
If you are looking for a black jumper that looks really similar to the one that you showed (that wouls suit your bf) check out if weekday are still stocking their Leo jumper. Its kinda shitty and plasticy but I love mine still, wear it all the time
hey! it's very clear you know your stuff. that was good inspo, thanks :) i have some suggestions tho if you dont mind: the second part was easier to follow for me, as still images work better compared to scrolled thru screen recordings (those should be higher frame rate and slowed down). i would also find a compromise between the second part (from 10:15) and the last 3 minutes by shifting the camera a lil bit to have a 70:30 ratio estate (you on the bigger side and exemplary images taking 30% of the screen), both because the last part is the most viewed one and if you're in the image you can have it balance throughout the vid, and because on smaller devices images are just too small compared to where you most likely edited the video. maybe i was obvious in that case sorry! good stuff keep it up you got a new sub 😌
@@xclvs thank u ! I appreciate the suggestion:) I actually fully recorded the video as it looked in the first half, but re-recorded the second half because I didn’t think it was easy to follow/I could tell I was getting tired from non stop talking seeing as I recorded the first half at night:) I’m posting a video today at 12pm, in about 5 hours, and I slowed the images down quite a bit in terms of scrolling through them! I’ll definitely make them bigger next time though that’s a great point🫶 thank u sm for taking the time to give me feedback!
@ just watched today's upload and i gotta say, that's a huge leap. no need to make images bigger either now. just consider something fancier than screen recordings and maybe the estate ratio thing or integrations like frames or editing tricks, to spice up visuals. but great job the vid is smooth and very interesting
just get boxier stuff not to tight clothing and focus on getting the proportions right and is a 5,6 dude yeah finding stuff that fits right is hard but it's crucial and it takes time but its worth it
I'm 5'1 as a dude and wear these kind of outfits shown in the video. It's all about knowing your proportions. I often bring clothes to a tailor to get the proportions right for example
I’ll make a video on knowing your proportions for u! I’m 5’8, and I know ofc we would have diff builds but I know how I’d wear all these fits to my height. The replies are right proportions are everythinggggg
not even remotely true, certain clothes look better on certain people meaning plenty of clothes don't look good with muscles but look great on slender builds
It is not only about being comfortable with it. Me as a men can not wear womans clothes becaouse they don't fit me, but all my female friends wear men clothes. It is not about being chill about it couse i really don't give a shit about what people think about me in girl clothes I just can't😢
Technicallyyyyy if u buy a different or bigger size u usually can, some of my tshirts hoodies and maybe even jeans my boyfriend can wear because I like clothes to be oversized
My biggest problem with my fashion is that i have a feminine face and frame as a guy and I don't really know what I can pull off because every inspo I see is from guys a lot more masculine than me
Fair enough! Honestly it’s hard to learn to adapt. Watch my video about how to find your personal style and once you’ve gone through those steps and you know exactly what clothing style you love the best and what outfits you like, try on those clothes and outfits and figure out what’s not necessarily fitting. For example, for me if my style was edgier and more like dark, but I have a very soft face with medium contrast and feminine features, inmight look out of place in the clothes. Some ways I can personally fix that Is in my piercings, accessories, I can get an edgier haircut that’s more mullet or wolf cut, I can wear edgier makeup, I can get more noticeable tattoos etc. For you if you’re not comfortable in makeup a great step in any direction of style is hair. Hairstyles are so important and if you discover your personal style, try and make your hair match that more. Seeing as you said you have a more feminine face, maybe try a more masculine/edgier hairstyle. Something more feathers and textured!
A corduroy jacket is an effective way to add texture to an outfit, especially a tone-on-tone's one (same idea with the different fabrics of the all-black outfit at 20:58 : thick knit sweater / smooth cotton pants / shiny leather shoes and bag)
Can you pretty please make a Pinterest account or just a board on your account for men, with the outfits you found in this video? I’d commission it if it’s too much effort
No need for commission! I’ll definitely do that soon:) it might not have all the outfits from this video but nonetheless I can still make a men’s fashion board with lots of fits from this video and continue to add more!
my secret is jus wear what you like, its not about whether it looks good or not long as you think u look great you'll feel great and carry yourself with confidence

Just became more main stream and in your face a few years ago, baggy jeans picked up large popularity jn the 80’s hip hop scene, and have continued to thrive in that community aswell as many other communities, which might just not have been around you which is totally fine but saying it’s something that’s only involved “these days “ is false:) but either way people should stick to wearing what they love, and I and MANY other adore them
Maybe to u! I’ve always loved baggy clothes and street style and layers. That’s been the style I’ve been drawn to ever since I can remember. It changes and morphs throughout the years but the base of it stays the same, so I still stand by the fact that to me the things in this video could be timeless as long as they’re someone’s personal taste and style:)
