Is a diesel fueled heater safe for indoor shop?

Short answer is yes. Mine has never set off my CO alarm. Use common sense though and keep flammables away from the discharge. My Little building is 1200ft2 and the diesel heater raised the temp from low 40's to 80 (up high) in 1 hour. Toasty.
