I had a muskrat get in my shop and I couldn't get him out for 3 days. He destroyed and chewed on everything. I finally trapped him with a 110 conibear trap baited with a honecrisp apple core. Less than 30 minutes and he got it.😂

We got quarter size hail one time and my kids had put bubble bath in their little swimming pool, it looked like a giant margarita with ice cubes after the storm rolled through.

The dealer is coming to pick it up and bring it back to their place in North Alabama and install another engine, under warranty. I have to go pick it up when it’s fixed.

If your compression tester doesn't have a valve core in the end that screws in the cylinder, it will show low compression. The Speeddway kit or the Mightyvac kit are the best for a compression tester on a small engine. If using the red Amazon test kit your compression should be ok anything over 50psi because they read low. 80psi of compression should run. I have seen engines with bad valves run with 25psi of compression. Usually under 65 psi and they get finnikey.

Out of all the paint I have used, Rustolium covers the best. It is thicker and you don't have to prep the surface as well for it to look nice. When your flipping things it's best to degrease and be able to blow a coat of paint on something without a lot of sanding and prep work. Your polishing a turd not making a museum piece.😂

Back in 1985 I lived in San Antonio and we got like 1" or 2" of snow everywhere you went there was an accident. People just won't slow down in the snow. I was heading home this afternoon and was running 62mph on the highway and when I got closer to home I was slowed down to 40mph. Once I got back I went online and there was already 2 semi trucks jack knifed at the next two exits past mine. You got lucky, keep your fingers and toes crossed. 😂

Hi Wife and Amos. It was 8 degrees this morning, been cold and breezy all day. We are supposed to get more snow tomorrow. Had 5 rabbits in the yard this morning. I go to Sam's and Costco, both have some good deals but you really have to watch prices. Costco has some really good and tasty food products, I get big 2.5lb bags of huge honey roasted peanuts that have very few additives for $7 each also huge bags of dried figs for $10. I like the big bags of salad and coleslaw at Sams. Hopefully you don't get too much snow, it will melt quick. It's not fun trying to plow the driveway when the ground isn't frozen, it makes a mess.

I use a carbon monoxide detector also. I dump up to 25% old clean gasoline in with my diesel to burn it up. I am going to try mixing in old engine oil and see how it goes. I know it would probably have to be 10% to 20% oil to be thin enough. Good way to get rid of waste.

I'm a Seasoned PRO at driving on Ice and 25 to 30 MPH can be the absolute maximum sometimes. I always get to where I'm going. Slowing down is a lot faster than waiting for a tow truck.

17 degrees here today, good day to stay inside. Our cat is really fussy on food, we just got him some Temptations green bag seafood medley. He was all over it. We tried 5 different 9 lives and Friskies and 3 different Special Kitty from Walmart. He wouldn't eat any of it. He is 14 and won't eat anything in a can with big chunks or strips. I was just about ready to put a boot in his .....

24 degrees here today. I used to use a 4 gallon sprayer to do my Radio Control car /truck off-road race track. 120'X65' took about 12 gallons. I'm glad I don't do that anymore, everyone wanted to run on it but nobody wanted to help shovel or rake the clay to make it nice. It was a lot of work for one person.

Menards sells a roof coating called Duck Coat it works better than any white elastomeric roof coating I have used. It is Solvent based not water base

Those are great little tractors. I want to get rid of my zero turn and get a 2WD John Deere X750 with a snow blade, it's a little bigger than My Kubota G4200h but a little smaller than my John Deere 4110. I have a 6' 3 piont finish mower but it is hard to mow around things.

Got to love buying your own Christmas presents. At least you get something you will use. My friend and I buy tools during the year and if it looks like something the other person could use we buy 2 of each. Then at Christmas we wrap them up and swap tools we collected through out the year. I got some 1/4" locking drill/impact extensions and a short handled 2-1/2" to 3" 1/4" drive fine spline ratchet for getting into the really tight places. I got him a dripless plastic caulk gun and some air hammer bits that look like a regular hammer head along with a 6 piece Craftsman micro screwdriver set. Was a great Christmas.
