Приєднався 12 бер 2018
After 50+ years of working a man's job for wages it's time to move on to next chapter. No more company ownership,no more high stress,no more worries about signing the front side of checks......In a few months after turnover I'm a free man! 3 Harley's, a great wife, lot's of open roads. Should be fun so come along.

I think I need another 3600. I'm getting good at working on these models.😬
they are pretty simple to fix.
@@amossnowdaharleyman9179 I went after a 3000 diesel for sale some months ago and he had this old '78 Ford 3600 in a shed that kept winking at me. I liked the extra heft of a 3600 to the 3000 and I think I want a couple more 3600s so I don't have to change implements so often...😬
what a d!*@&head, were not interested in your shelf stock of stuff were looking for knowledge on diesel slime, rambling old grandad !
did you think about doing a follow-up on your redwing vs ariat boots comparison?
The heat is really hard on the garden this year.. New friend here from Growing My Own.
i just got a covington planter, and its a pain to figure out how to get it not to plant so deep.
Adjust your top link longer. That will change the geometry of the planter:front of planter, specifically the spade to open furrow will rise and rear packing wheel will be lower.
@@amossnowdaharleyman9179 ok thanks for the info!!
@@amossnowdaharleyman9179 ok thank you ill try that!
Watermelon looking good!
I have a rualion blower. Neither battery's work or charger. No customer service.
ouch
Looking good!
I just saw this video and wanted to let you know they can mount fans up under those canopies that really work great!!
Wife's friends love me. We give them more than half of the harvests and all are so appreciative. I like growing stuff and eat a lot of it but giving it away is a good feeling too.
Nice haul!
Are you BS-ing me??? You have to torch the damned thing and whack at it for an hour, hopefully getting it off, all for a $12 seal?
Pretty much.....
@@amossnowdaharleyman9179yup. I just bought a replacement seal for my landpride and it cost 45$ for a damn seal.
So, I got the stump jumper off, left castle nut on loosely, whacked on it from the top, maybe 20 times, came right off. No heat, no cussing. Then I finally hot the split ring off, draining remains oil but the old gasket won't budge. Make you a deal, I'm a dentist and I'll be happy to pull any one of your teeth if you tell me how to extract the old gasket. Thanks
@@Jslav-jj2xq There is a tool that you can get at any auto parts store or on-line. Look for "seal puller/remover". Next option is drilling a small hole in metal part of seal, install a screw, and lever against the screw like you are pulling a nail.Seals can be hard to remove but it can be done.
@@amossnowdaharleyman9179 don't see metal, May try hole in rubber first, can't hurt it, right
Looking good!
Your garden is looking amazing.. New subscriber here from Growing My Own.
Great video i found the answer ro my question in the comments. Ive been reconditioning my motorcycle 🏍 battery for 3 days now and i thought that was excessive but now i know it can take a week. What a slow process smh but if it can save my battery im all for it.
You remind me of my friend. He loved hogies from this shop. And one day I walked into his shop and he was checking the thickness of the lunchmeat with a caliper. He had a digital scale there on the table with a tomato slice on it too. Another time I walked in on my dad and he had a roll of kielbasa and he measured the length and divided it by the number of sandwiches he was making and cut it using a tape measured lol. He worked in chemical and plastics research for over 30 years. and before that he was a gauger in the rolling mill
On my Tri Glide - Legen rear air ride which allows airing 0n the go- recommend I also have the 131 motor i rid so fast it stays clean.
My 5060E had same issue.Still in warranty so dealer's mechanic worked it. Said the problem was junk in the fuel tank filter clogging it and resulting in fuel low pressure.
That's a nice garden! What state are you in? Buzz
NE Texas
If you think you got a good deal, then you got a good deal. Nice treasure find my friend. I have a much older TroyBilt pony and love it.
3 wheeler? you are the designated beer hauler?
Beautiful Bike my friend.
Willie G! Nice looking trike. I like William (Bill) Davidson's Hot Rod bikes. Yes, you know, the Skirtsters! They make my Shovelhead look like a fat hog. Enjoy your Tri-Glide out on the road. And always keep the shiny side up, and the greasy side down. Regards.
Must suck living in a state that forces you to have annual inspections . Guess that is what they mean by small government and freedom
Double edged sword: for those of us who maintain our vehicles in a safe condition it's an inconvenience. But it helps keep wingnuts off the road that are running bald tires,1 head-light,sketchy brakes, etc.
Electric car ?
Big Class A RV. When I did the video I couldn't tell: too much smoke.
I have a manual for a G25P-5 and it does not describe what that light is. I have discovered it is the brake fluid level sensor light, check for fluid level and the float sticking
Boy that's a big old bandsaw. Capable of resawing? Nice organized shop too!
Yes it is but I'm more of a metal guy. Woodwork is only when I must.
Did you tell the rain to head to nc ? We’re dry . Enjoyed watching!
should be there today.
Where is your dealership 😊
JUst me trying to do what makes me happy and catch up on 20 years of delayed projects.Sold my company and retired so now I have time.
Mator sandwich soon
It fun to make stuff ! Enjoyed watching Amos !
Don’t fill bad I’m still looking for stuff I’ve put up “safe “
Looking good Amos ! Thanks for sharing this ,enjoyed watching!
👍🏻 yup , gonna work just fine!
I hope you give us a demonstration when you completed service!
That's the plan. Had to order more JD corn head grease so waiting on that. Looked all over for it and apparently I used it.
Got yourself a new project. You’ll have it preforming just like new 👍🏻🇺🇸
A regular monsoon
Look really good Amos !
“My little buddy’s lol “
How do you get the crossbar & stump jumper off? I've used heat, ruined a puller, pounded from top through hole; all to no avail.
I use a piece of 2" round stock 8" long through the hole and a 16 pound sledge (with all I can swing on it) after a LOT of heat applied with an oxy/acetylene rose bud torch tip on the spline area. Some are just an absolute horror to get to pop off.
Just wondering, I may have missed it but how much atf did you add to the fuel. Was fuel at 8 gallon when you added atf and the treatment stuff?
1 quart to about 1/3 tank of fuel. 8ish gallons or so of fuel.
Mix them different brands and try that . Cigs are blended with different areas tobacco. Just a thought
Looking good. Planted 2lbs of sweet corn last Sunday. Hope cold snaps are over. Thinking about using the weed fabric and cutting holes for plants in our little garden by house.
37 here at 5 am today....(27 March)
Thanks for the info !
I have a 5045e do you think it will pull a 7 foot disc?
Possibly. You'll need to add a lot of front weights and several hundred pounds (per) of rear tire weights.
Will my 5045e handle the 512 loader?
yes
Finally found my gloves: set them down on socket set in garage...
Cold patch doesn't last long its better if u use a hot mix an u need to cut out the bad part
Agree. And if it was more than me using the parking lot I would. Whole area is shot and needs to be replaced. This patch was a fix for a small issue caused by water flow from new gutter.
Doubles as a "gopher gitter" or "squirrel squasher" 😆
Oh wow! You are a gardener, too! Jack of all trades! Ruthie B. Howard 3/5/24
