- Hello Everyone! Today I am unboxing and testing out the brand new La Mer Luminous Lift Cushion Foundation SPF20. I am a fan of the the La Mer Soft Fluid Long Wear foundation and was excited for this new product to come out. I am absolutely loving the feel on the skin and the finish is GORGEOUS. Skin-like but luminous- just like it claims!

For reference- I am 50 years old and have sensitive skin with occasional rosacea flare-ups. My skin is normal to dry.

How does it feel like compare to Cle de peau and La prarie? I didn’t like both of them because it was too oily.
Especially cle de peau doesn’t even havr any coverage after like 2-3hours...
I am thinking to get westman atelier foundation. Can you say which one is better? I tested westman foundation and I liked it. :)
Lumilumixo - I did not like the feeling of the Cle de Peau either. It felt heavy on the SKIN! I am LOVING the La Mer Cushion and was just doing a video update. It does not feel like anything on the skin - very light- and I did go and check on colors and am sticking with Warm Vanilla- the colors are challenging. I have had it on for 5 hours and the coverage is still going strong and I did not set it with powder! This might be the Cushion winner!
Oh- and I love the Westman Atelier! Feels great on the skin - easy to use- and skin-loving ingredients! If you want a cushion - I would try LA MER- if you want stick/creamy foundation- go Westman Atelier!!!

I had the same prob with the colors. I too got Warm Vanilla and it was a bit light/greyish on me :( La mer is always a challenge with shades for me too. I do love the finish though!

Yes!! I have the same difficulty w/La Mer foundations , not only do I have difficulty w/the shade range but also the undertone options. Perhaps because I have a medium-olive skin tone, but leaning warm. It just seems that all of the shades are either too light or too dark for me, & the shades that get “close,” have the wrong undertone- a bit sad & frustrating!😏
I’m sorry but the foundation is way to light! !! You did fix up the gothic look with the other products you used but it was still too light.
