I don't tend to comment of YT videos much but I felt the need here. Only started watching a bit so far, but I love these sorts of challenge runs, and since it's the game I've played more than any other I do feel the need to comment a bit. First off, the clickbait title is a bit odd. I suppose 'Can you beat Final Fantasy XII with a passive party leader' or something isn't as sexy but still. It's a bit much. Got the part where you recruited 'Amalia' and already noticed a couple things -- first, you absolutely CAN control guests just like other party members (you couldn't in the original so if this is your first time playing TZA I could see that mistake). Second, and this is a bit more obscure but having a guest with you is less efficient when leveling, since they will absorb 1/4 the EXP. Granted if you needed to level to beat the boss then yeah it makes sense. REALLY curious what the fight is that you mention where you're forced to break the rules, as the only thing I can think of isn't a fight at all (and doesn't require Vaan to do it). Obviously the game requires you to use money a couple times, but I doubt that's it either....well I'll see when I watch the rest of the video I guess. EDIT: Ok so after watching it all, I guess there wasn't anything? Huh. As for a fisticuffs-only run, it's pretty interesting, but I can't imagine it with the additional no magick/technick restrictions. Honestly I think the extra restrictions really just added tedium to the run -- i.e. all the chest farming. I think a better more interesting challenge might have been to have Vaan only ever able to heal himself (of HP/status) and have the other two party members able to do whatever so you're basically relying on gambit setups and Vaan is just a cheerleader along for the ride..
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback in a non aggressive manner, I really appreciate it. (no sarcasm). While I do mostly agree on the exp with the guests being less efficient,, most of the guests imo bring value because they can heal- potions quickly get outdated earlier in the game until I can get hi-potions. Summoning Belias was a forced rule break.
Honestly, when first read the title i though it was going to be a bleed/countdown/petrify/death run since those technically dont deal number damage.... thiz was sonething else xD!
Slight correction tyler smith due to the damage formula used if we are going by stats only fran is tied for worst bow wielder and balthier is actually the best but unless you extreme meta game it doesnt matter
@@azuremistkingdom no problem. Growing up my sister had seizures often so I'm keenly aware of these things. I just felt it was necessary to at the very least warn people
@@azuremistkingdom awesome and thank you. I will say good work on the video. I love final fantasy but have yet to complete this one even tho I got the game on ps2 at release... I really should go actually finish it
I was thinking that, and I also noticed how it can interfere with the order on which the videos show up on the channel. I think I'll just remove them tbh :)
yeah deffo does interfere with ordering @@azuremistkingdom see i stumbled across your ff1 vid which which is where i saw the ff12 challenge at the start so went looking for it and took me a while to see it. But i think a lot of big challenge run channels do this convention of having a seperate channel for the raw footage. but yeah keep up the work!!
So i got Tifa, because its a music reference. Ti fa la so etc But i pronounced Yuffie, Tidus, Chocobo wrong and Regen I said with a hard G, not realising what the spell actually did at first.
100% agree on the FFX-2 opinion. FFX-2 gets a lot of shit, maybe somewhat justified for the overly sexist portrayal and crap story, but as said here, the combat is 10/10. You don't need a great story to enjoy a game, just look at Tetris!
12:05 - 14:12 Flashing lights warning, thanks @undeadmaster666 for pointing this out.
Did you heart your own comment? Lol
Thanks for flashing warning, strangers.

I love watching challenge videos that no one has asked for. I'm pretty psyched to see how your challenge videos shape up
As the ff12 vid is my first one, you'll notice a big difference up to my current one :) Thanks!
Cool challenge man!
Thanks! I enjoyed your x-2 worst Dressphere run, I was going to do that one until I noticed someone already did it :)
@@azuremistkingdom ah thanks man! Appreciate that
JamSac I love you!
Finally got to watch this.
Gud job 👍
Edit: Yeah. The guest bumming your items meme can be overlooked uf you're not thinking.
Great video Azure!
I appreciate the kind words!
Great job my man!
Thank you so much!
that was fantastic, ff12 is my favourite, well done!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

How have I only discovered your channel today?! This is great content! Keep it up my dude ^^

Now I understand why players does the multiple save 7:54 in these tempest insane Challenges
I didn't expect to have to reload a previous save so soon, but this is exactly why multiple files should be used. Thanks for watching :)

Late to the party but this is absolutely bonkers fun. Easy sub!
Thanks! It was my first challenge run, so the others should only be better :)
i instant sub and like ! thanks you to bring FF12 content !
I want to do another run of this and have another idea for it :)
man this game's a hell of a lot shorter when you're not trying to 100% the hunts
you should make dedicated channel for your unedited footage. only post main vids like this here. great wrk tho. always love a ff12 run

2:55 FALSE ! the t-rex can possibly kill him (the tomato contrat) !!! He kill wolf/cockatrice time to time (and he even lvl up by eating them)
Interesting, I'll have to mess around with that next time!
Came in a little strong.
