The browning on your crocodile fern is a condition known as fernus fussicus, a common condition among ungrateful houseplants. If it bothers you, feed the fern to its namesake and get a sansevieria.
Your plants are lovely. Love the idea for watering in the treat tray. One thing...if the wire you're using on your airplants is copper, it will kill them eventually. It may just be copper colored aluminum which is ok though.
Love the vege tray for watering!....such pretty flowering hoya.....looks so nice your arrangements on the racks! I have a rack type thing that is bigger hanging by the window in my bedroom, that is hanging from two ceiling hooks and I hang 8 hanging baskets from it! Love love everything
I think the browning on your fern is fungus. Try spraying it with an antifungal spray. Ferns are prone to this when indoors with little air flow (wind). I get it as well. 😃
OMG my crocodile fern has those burns/brownings?? Too! Lol I do love it and move it around to lower light and in medium light in my kitchen. I know the oldest leaves turn that color.
Interesting seams like several people are commenting the same thing about their crocodile ferns! Someone told me to try an antifungal…I will see if that helps. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi! I was overall talking about the idea of using your vertical space to hang many plants, therefore, even if you have just one wall or cabinet sides, you can use that small space to fit many plants.
I have those same Mexican mini pots too!!! they are also homes for my tiny succulents by my window. I bought them for that reason. lol I ate the candy inside too! great minds think alike! 😂 you have a beautiful home by the way!
Great ideas, thanks for sharing such helpful info! Q: how easy or difficult was it to hang the IKEA floating shelves in the corner? They look amazing, and styled so lovely with your plants. Thank you.
Hey! Thanks for your comment! Glad you enjoyed it! The Ikea floating shelves it’s like on the medium difficult side… you measured and level it and installing the D rings on the back of the boxes… so you can hang the boxes on the wall one by one… so, it’s a little tedious but not impossible… hope you can do it!!!
I'd love plants I'n my kitchen , but a 3 story house was built very close to my home & I practically have no light..I did hear of low light plants ,I guess I'll try that.
I’m so surprised the fern is happy there because ferns need a lot a lot of light :) and the Kringle is so pretty , your so lucky because Hoyas also need so much light what’s your trick lol
I buy my kitty her own wheatgrass at Ralph's in a 4 inch pot, and I put it in a bowl so I can give it water if needed. My kitty loves it, and doesn't eat my plants. 🌱💚🤗🐈

Well I'm deffinitly Goin to do the same with the wire wrack !! Great idea ! Ur succulents by the window are beautiful. I love succulents, but no matter how hard I try I kill em all as soon as I being em into my home ughhh lord help me , lol
I'm not sure if that wire is copper or not, but copper and air plants do not mix, as it's toxic to them. I hope it's not copper and your aircplants are thriving.
No it’s not made if real copper just the color is copper like. Thanks for sharing that information though. Happy to say my airplants are still doing good!😀
It’s definitely a Lacunosa you have in the smaller pot but it’s hard sometimes to tell which one bc Lacunosa can vary. The one in your big pot looks like regular Lacunosa or Lacunosa Ruby sue and the one in the small pot looks similar to lacunosa giant leaf (which you’ll be able to tell when it blooms) or just a regular Lacunosa..if it has abs it could be Lacunosa var Lacunosa but I couldn’t really tell if yours had abs in the video. Regardless great video, beautiful plants, and lovely tips!! 💖💖💖💖
First video I have seen of yours but your Alocasia (erm...my brain and long name to spell ain't quite friends today) has amazing leaves! I have a tiiny one in my reptile tank and can't wait untill mine gets like that! 😮 And love your hoyas (what was the name of the one closest to the window, F-something?; instant wishlist!)❤ You have given me plenty of ideas, wantneeds and inspiration❤ 😊
Thanks for your opinion…I actually had never heard of the Hoya Rosita. I am looking at the pictures and it looks like the Rosita has a little longer leaves and turn a little Rosie in color. So not sure if it’s that one. Thanks for your feedback!💚
It doesn't look like my Rosita, but mine is on my patio, so it gets alot of light, and it has definite dark almost burgundy borders, and smaller leaves.
@@plantheartbeats Yeah, I had to fulfill a language requirement to get my BA, so I thought when is the next time I'm going to go to Paris, or Moscow or Berlin? So I took Latin--the dead language that's still alive and kicking. Love you vid, by the way, thanks for the love!

Great video! What would you suggest for a person who lives on 2nd floor but no real natural light😭
Hi! Artificial grow lights work well. 💚
What kind of wire to hang them did you use? I love this idea!
I found it in Walmart in the craft section. It’s called craft wire. Hope you get to make one!
New sub here from Spokane Valley Wa ❤
Thanks for subbing! Hello!👋
I’m so surprised the fern is happy there because ferns need a lot a lot of light :) and the Kringle is so pretty , your so lucky because Hoyas also need so much light what’s your trick lol
Thanks!! They are doing great!! 💚💚💚
Cute ideas! Can you do one on how to have plants and cats? I’ve run out of ideas how to hide it from those gremlins
Lol! Wish I could but I only have a small dog and no 🐱 cats.
I buy my kitty her own wheatgrass at Ralph's in a 4 inch pot, and I put it in a bowl so I can give it water if needed. My kitty loves it, and doesn't eat my plants. 🌱💚🤗🐈

They need almost direct sun in order for the Splash to show.

Ur succulents by the window are beautiful. I love succulents, but no matter how hard I try I kill em all as soon as I being em into my home ughhh lord help me , lol

Hace unos meses compré una Hoya parecida a la que no conoces el nombre y la identificación dice Hoya gracilis. Espero que ésto te ayude.

How do you water the air plants?
I soak them in water for approx 5 to 15 min, let them dry completely and then hang back up.
you are soo nine ❤❤❤❤
🥰
My crocodile fern have the same brown and it was because the cold.
Good to know! Thanks! Makes me feel better!
👍
💚
They must be eating plants and not food, that is why the kitchen is full of plants.
🤣😂
What’s the link to your Etsy store? I need one of those Hoyas!
Hi! Plant Heartbeats Shop . Follow me in Instagram and I will announce when I have them in my shop for sale! Thanks!
Is that a Hoya Sunrise ?
And so what are the announced hacks now please?
It’s not announcement… 🤔
Maybe hoya krohniana?
Maybe! Thanks!
Looking for small space like apartment size🙄
