The repair guy told me that it will cost 300$ to fix my dryer and it wasn't worthed, he had a newer one for 250$ and will replace it and get rid of my old one .... 20$ for a voltmeter, 10$ for a thermique fuse .. good as new !!! I'm sure he would have fix my old one and sell it after!!! assholes 😤 thanks for your help!! With the covid situation it's criminal to ripped off people like that!! They should be ashamed of themselves! I'm so grateful that you made the time to show how to fix it !! I'm a very proud woman now lol

I checked all the fuses and they all beeped and is still not heating could it be time timer ?? Because I turn my dryer it works but it doesn’t heat I see the coils not heating
I've replaced the coils and the thermal fuse. Next I was going to replace the thermostat but I'm having trouble figuring out which thermostat on my Whirlpool gas dryer. There's a cycling thermostat. A high-end thermostat and a third one. One is in the back. One is up top in the control panel. And one is by the burner assembly in the Front Bottom Any suggestions?
I've got an issue with a dryer set up just like that and no power I've tested all the items you tested and have ohm reading of 0000. I've also tested the power button so I guess I've got to test the switch but how do I test the little motherboard
My Whirlpool is model #WED92HEFC0. The 1st time I took it apart, the heating element was not getting a reading on the ohm meter. There was a break in the coil. I replaced it with WP8544771, and the dryer worked for maybe 4 more loads. Then, the thermal fuse #3977393 on the heating element went out. There was no reading on the ohm. I replaced the thermal fuse #3977393. It worked for maybe 1 load, and then no heat. The high limit thermostat #8557403 and the heating element still have continuity. I replaced thermal fuse #3977393 for the 2nd time. It worked for 1 load. The thermal fuse didn’t have continuity again. I found that there is another (tube looking) thermal fuse #W10693363 and a thermistor #8577274 on the blower housing. The (tube looking) thermal fuse had continuity, but the thermistor did not. I replaced the thermal fuse #3977393 on the heating element for the 3rd time, and the thermistor #8577274 on the blower housing. The new thermistor #8577274 didn't have an ohm reading either... should it? Now, I'm not sure the 1st one was bad. However, I replaced with both new parts. Once again, it worked for about 1 load. I've ordered a new thermal fuse #3977393 that goes on the heating element, and another thermistor #8577274. Again, the new thermistor doesn't have continuity. What the heck am I doing wrong??? What is making the thermal fuse go out? The 1st time I took the front off the dryer, I cleaned out all the lint inside the dryer housing, lint trap, and the vent line going outside. There was no blockage. Can someone please help me? I'm tired of only getting 1 load dry before having to tear this thing apart. Although, I have found I can get to ALL the parts I've mentioned by just removing the top cover and the back of the dryer. The door is a little heavy for me to put back and get it all lined up good. I've found no need to remove the front again when working on the heating problem. I never removed the belt and drum of the dryer. I was able to reach all the heating elements without going that far. But, that's me and my small hands being able to fit in the tight spaces.

Checked for continuity and found the top thermostat to be bad. Tapped it a few times on the floor and the darn thing works now. Thank you sir!!!!!!
