I just got the dock, and I had to use the Bluetooth pairing on my Odin to connect a controller, but getting lag. Do I need to buy a Bluetooth usb stick for dock instead to reduce lag or it doesn’t matter?

Hello! Can you please share the brand of your controller? If we have it we may be able to test if we are able to replicate the lag.

@@TroveOasisit’s a NS pro wireless. I think it’s lagging because it’s BT and not 2.4Ghz wireless maybe.

As a follow up to your comment, we tested a couple of Switch Pro Controllers with our Odin 2. Even without using a Dock, we noticed some lag and missed inputs compared to both the 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4g and the 8BitDo Pro 2 Bluetooth controller featured in our video.
Unfortunately, we haven’t found a solution to improve the wireless connection of the NS Pro Controller with the Odin 2. We did notice reduced lag when connecting it via a long USB cable. Hope that helps for you! :)

You might try plugging a 2.4ghz dongle into the dock if your controller supports that connection type

@@Ryutai7 Yea, I ended up with a 2.4Ghz controller which reduced the lag a lot.

Does it work with the AYN tpu case? Thats my only hesitation in picking this thing up

Hello! The AYN TPU case actually didn’t fit properly with the dock unless we used an extension cable. We tested this starting at around 20:19. Hope this helps! :)

@@TroveOasis 😅 I guess I commented too soon. Thanks for testing that out ❤

Why is the built in WiFI so Slow ?

    • @TroveOasis
      @TroveOasis  26 днів тому +1

Hello! The reason the Odin 2’s wifi seems slow in our video is that the Odin 2 was connected to an AX3000 router node. After uploading our video, we tested the Odin 2’s wifi speed using a faster AX6600 router. Our overall network speeds are faster than in the video, in both wireless and wired download speeds.
Here are our current download speed results:
The original router in our video (AX3000):
      Wifi: 113Mbps
      Wired: 244Mbps
      The faster router (AX6600):
      Wifi: 485Mbps
      Wired: 760Mbps
      Hope this helps! :)
