I owned switch love it. But I also hate it for not having Netflix, Twitch stopped support and some digital licenses problem watching UA-cam using genki dock.
The Switch still wins in the controller grip comparison because even if you don't like the joycons there are third party joycons with better grip that you can buy to replace the original joycons thus making the Switch so much better to hold. Like what I'm using is NYXI joycons with better gripping experience than the original.
@@TechSpaceCowboy Right i actually want it to play the New Legends game, I don't care about anything other than Pokemon and Legends of Zelda. Hopefully still worth it.
I bought a switch OLED right before the announcement and I am enjoying learning the device. I grew up on N64 and Sega Saturn then moved to PS systems. I think it's definitely worth it, but I'm not the tech space cowboy lol
They are both good devices for different things. The Switch is made for Switch games (obviously), whereas the other device is better for playing games for older consoles.
Switch has most games that aren't free, but odin has android with even millions of free apps and games. And also, switch games are not cheap in my contury, so an ayn odin 2 would be perfect
Odin 2 and many other Android Retro handhelds are not suitable for console players. First of all, to get Switch games playable - you need to constantly find and update the emulator, try different ones, update the graphics driver, find patches, etc. This is like the dark days of PC gaming where you need to update DirectX, OpenGL and PC drivers all the time to get better performance. You will spend more time tweaking the device than actually playing the games - this is not what a console is, it's meant to be a pickup and play device. Linux based devices like Miyoo Mini for example, is a console experience. Even the OnionOS is a simple one click solution, it's easy to install and all the games just works. If you want to play Switch game, you can find modded Switch with CFW sold at a much cheaper price than Odin 2 and all the Switch games will run as intended.
@@suhtangwong I am talking about Switch games. If you want retro system like GC or PS2, you can get cheaper ones like RG Cube or Retroid 4 Pro. People bought Odin 2 for Switch games, but it's not worth it for compatibility and performance wise. I bought a modded OLED Switch on eBay for $300 - it even came with a 512GB sdcard. The OLED Switch can OC to allow games like BotW or TotK to run at 60fps. All games run as intended - no messing around drivers or other nonsense.
WHY THERE ARE NO ODIN 2 OLED 😢😢😢. WHEN U GO OLED , U CANT GO BACK.
Overrated, a good LCD like on the Odin is just fine
@@rob8311 ONCE U GO OLED , U CANNOT GO BACK. TRUST ME , I TRY .
Loving the regular uploads! AYN Odin 2 looking like a solid device
Loving the beard!
Hell yeah! Must say I agree with you!
The Odin 1 was designed to fit in a Switch doc and visceral. Odin1 even has that goofy switch notch on it.
it’s a little too small to fit in a switch dock
Is the Odin 2 (base model) enough to run PS2, GameCube, Wii/WiiU, and Switch (I'm not considering TOTK)?
Yes to all but not wii u since there are no emulators for it on android (yet)
Yes ish. There’s just not 100% switch emulators I’ve found yet. I still find yuzu more reliable than suyu so far
I gotta get me the Ayn Odin 2 Max and Nintendo Switch OLED Pokemon edition. P.s. never see you with a beard
Get the switch modded. You can even emulate switch on switch not to mention other consoles.
Does the extra 4gb ram on the pro make a difference in performance on switch emulation?
Yes. But 16 gigs is unnessecary
👏👏👏

No
Planning to get myself an OLED switch, is it worth it with the Switch 2 right around the corner?
(I've never had a switch, PS5 guy here 👋)
Switch 2 is like a year away still so…. Probably?
@@TechSpaceCowboy Right i actually want it to play the New Legends game, I don't care about anything other than Pokemon and Legends of Zelda. Hopefully still worth it.
there are just too many good games on the platform

@@courtneyjones2144 Thanks for the help, the games are quite expensive on here 😅
but i think I can manage if I get pre-owned deals. Let's see.
Odin 2 mini Over 90 😊
Like, what's the name of the app you show on Odin 2?
I use beacon emulator

Odin battery is better as well...
I have Android on my Switch, too.
jailbreak the switch then its a retro i also watch netflix on it
I play Tears of the Kingdom fine.

But switch can't emulate systems that Odin can.

It plays tears of the kingdom very well. Update your firmware...
Odin DESTROYS Switch. Only a clown would ever state otherwise...
I’ll believe that when I see it.
I did everything under the sun, and I couldn’t get off the tutorial island without severe issues in ToTK
"Objective" a.k.a. "I came here to dissent against the Odin 2," lol...
