    If I leave the aloe in my hair or even wash it out with water (even if I've applied it to wet hair) my hair are super shiny, soft, glossy and put together, but just SOOOO tangled and literally crackle with static! Why is this happening? I think I have medium porosity hair and my mum and brother both have high porosity hair and they have the same results? I can't find anyone else on the internet with the same reaction as I have with aloe! Even my body hair get static!

    Similar hair texture! But, using only flaxseeds leave my hair very brittle. Defined, but no movement. I hope this cream works for me. What can I replace the aloe vera gel with? I don’t think aloe does the best in my hair.

    • @LotusFlowerLife
      @LotusFlowerLife  3 роки тому +3

      Whenever I use flax seed gel it dries as a hard cast which is great for holding the curls in place while they dry. A key step is to put a little bit of jojoba oil in your hands and squeeze all the crunch out after its 100% dry. That completely gets rid of all the hardness from the gel cast and leaves you with very soft touchable curls. If that doesn't work, you can always give hibiscus gel a try as an alternative to both aloe vera gel and flax seed gel. Just keep in mind that all gels dry to somewhat of a hard cast to protect the curls as they dry and you may need to still squeeze out the crunch with a lightweight oil. Hope this helps

    I tried this yesterday but it doesn't seem like the aloe gel wants to mix with the butter 😭 I heated it and that helped a lot but it's still not like yours

    • @LotusFlowerLife
      @LotusFlowerLife  3 роки тому +2

      Aloe gel naturally wants to separate from the butters because its essentially water (oil & water don't mix) and I didn't include an emulsifier. When I made it using my ninja blender it mixed it really well and then I kept it in the fridge to make sure it didn't separate. If it does continue just give it a good mix with a spoon and you should be good!

    can i add in jojoba oil

    • @LotusFlowerLife
      @LotusFlowerLife  3 роки тому +1

      I'd def swap it out with one of the other oils so that it doesn't get too heavily moisturizing

      if you use fresh aloe vera, then it will last two weeks. if you use store bought aloe vera that has light preservatives in it, then it will last six months :)
