Both of you - thank you greatly!! Great information and even better perspective. Simper Fi.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Small fleet owners should lease on to a bigger company, that's the hack to survive!
That's a very good point 👍🏻
I love the look on Petr’s face when he tries to follow where Alex is going with his analogies.
🤣
Hi loved the dispatch robot plug that was added in there. Definitely need more information on that.
Link is in the description, also check out the FB group both Petr and I are in there
I make money in trucking. I buy used higher mileage semi trucks and trailers. Do my own maintenance for the most part. Pay drivers well and make around 1k per week per truck. We focus on lanes. I also buy and lease trailers out.
I will say, their is Big difference between contracted freight and spot.
Great show and great information.
That's why I cut grass.🤑👍
🤭
Lot less stress, and can still make decent living
Can’t be making much cutting grass, you gotta go after that big money my man 6 digits then 7 if your smart
Glad to see you'll up and live.
I went through all the channels you suggested to start up a hotshot owner operator x1 truck me myself and I.
I have $100,000 cash saved in liquid.
I'm ready to pull the trigger just want to make sure I make the right move.
I have my LLC, my CDL A, business account can you give me any suggestions on what to do or to get started first?
I need a truck and trailer, all straps tarps and binders.
Dot#, MC# & INSURANCE!!!
I'm working with a Hazmat company delivering propane now. 🤔
fill out the contact us on my website
I love all the common specially the ones towards PETA not knowing anything about Trucking😂
Trucking should be very lucrative especially for a driver, and there is a lot of money in the industry. Unfortunately there are so many sharks feeding along the way,
The driver, the one who sacrificed his life and does 99% of all the efforts to deliver the goods, sadly gets the least amount of revenue. The cheerleaders that go home at 5 get the bulk of the revenue
the sharks along the way is that unique to trucking? It seems every industry is like this from what I've seen. When you count percentage of revenue drivers are a significant expense to companies, around 30% - 40% if I'm not mistaken.
There is still a handful of old timers, that do business the way it's been done for centuries. No brokers, no dispatchers, no middlemen. This takes reliable, honest and dependable individuals that believe in freedom from socialist mindsets and policies.
The true back bone of the American economy 😊
Got paid a measly $2PM from SLC to Denver for 6k lbs of processed Marijuana (stocks & trimmings).
lol nice
Tow piglet can't he's out of buisness haha
Someone who’s already in trucking won’t be able to afford consulting services..I just want to know why you attempted to create a hotshot fleet? That doesn’t make sense …why not lease through Ryder or Penske? Lease the trucks own the trailers only you automatically illuminate maintenance you can rent month to month
I like hotshot more than semi
@@TowPigletthat’s emotional preference as far driver comfort business wise to avoid turn over rate you either have to have competitive or driver comfort to substitute as someone who has driven for companys if they pay good I’ll sacrifice comfort but if I’m comfortable I’ll over look the sh!t pay simply cause I’m comfortable and accommodated…Ryder literally will allow you to rent for 1 week all you needed was a driver and a trailer and you were good hotshot is not sustainable it’s actually a sh!t industry
All business have this gaps I ran a construction company with 63 employees I made overall more money but profit margins were less then with 10 employees so this hard to explain for us regular guy’s there are smart jackwagon somewhere that can explain it
my trucks are 30-40 percent margin not sure why people always say low margin in trucking
what kind of trucks?
How are you financing them?
What do you haul?
@@TowPiglet We haul Power only freight dry vans & 53ft flat beds. We own most of our fleet out right.
Alex got everyone into hotshot and saturated the market.
😎
That's ok the ones that listened to him went under too
Owner operator is sub (no liability ) fed ex ground
Hey what do you think about Yellow Freight?? I hear commercial’s saying greedy company got shut down by the union? Where’s all this equipment going?
yeah pretty crazy and to think they got 700 million
@@TowPiglet yeah quite a lot of money.
It's most likely going to get auctioned off to pay back the 700 million dollar loan they took.
Can we get a video on dispatch robot? I saw that it was $99 maybe a free trial to see how useful this is for a business
there's a 21 day free trial for Dispatch Robot
🔥👍🏼
Trucking has been on a decline for years as a owner operator myself everything is against you and truckers don't bane together for change but the future is about to wipe out millions of jobs including Trucking jobs a.i will replace truckers in the future uts time truckers wake up ...... but I don't see it
The industry has had it's fair share of ups and downs, but there's still hope and it's an important industry. When you say AI will replace truckers, how soon do you think? Won't there be some kind of regulation to stop it?
Lol brother look the world is about to shift into a reset of you guys not reading between the lines it's gonna be cut throat over 300 million jobs lost why pay humans when a.i can do it free really think why semi went automatic first then now trying for electric once they master that it's game over and truckers will be holding the bag witch will be empty
Also was there regulations on Amazon? When they took over the shopping world? Think 🤔 bro
Hopefully this all happens after our lifetime
Alex what happened to Danny With covered 6 did he close up shop ?
Unfortunately yes, he had big breakdowns on multiple trucks
Dang that sucks . Have you seen his channel uploads recently? Some random dude has been uploading a video here & there it’s weird
He closed down and so did LOAD MIZER!
here we go again
Alex, great to hear you talking about trucking again. Lots of carriers are still hiring if you want to get your CDL. Getting your CDL gets you into other jobs such as operator's like heavy equipment. CATS, DOZERS ETC. Alot of employers look for people that have a CDL they are more interested in those candidates. I'm a trainer, but I drive solo 99% of the time. 10 years, 1 million miles. Volume seems to be down for us also. I hardly ever see any hotshot running, it has picked up alittle. No idea when we are going to hit another economic boom, it might not be in our lifetime or it's right around the corner. For some reason the libs were losing there minds during the last big Boom. It makes no sense to me. But common sence tells me we have been down for a couple years now, some say ression or depression. Who knows, I still see a large number of trucks on the road. Not many trucks running at night like 2019. Talk about the recession, what you guys are seeing, what are your thoughts on a timetable for the next boom. Talk at ya later, stay safe out there!
Getting a CDL is not the direction I want to do with my career
He's a druggie or he woulda got it a long time ago
@@upinsmokegg Was wondering why? like you're taking loads anyway, anyone who is super against it is absolutely delusional there is literally zero legitimate reason I have ever come across as to why not, like OH look at me im gonna start a business BUT im gonna purposefully handicap myself. like how delusional do you have to be? It's not even hard or expensive. It's why all the real truckers dog on this channel, filled with misinformation and delusion
Robot app is there an option for sprinter van loads !?
We are working on it
I would argue that you can become a millionaire in trucking. I did it, following Alex youtube channel. Company has 5 years in business on Aug 10th. 35 units and climbing
that's awesome brother, congrats
🤣🤣🤣
How do you get 50 Owner Operators? I have been grinding in Facebook but I haven't had any luck.
Are you a dispatch service? Join the FB group, both Peter and I are there
I can't get into the FB group for some reason@@TowPiglet
@TowPiglet which Facebook group
There's lots of money in trucking and you can become a millionaire if you do it right. It's very hard and competitive with lots of variables you have to keep in check. If you find the right customers and pull the right freight it's doable. It's 10x harder if you are doing dry van or reefer in an economy where people aren't buying as many consumer goods.
If consumers aren’t spending it’s difficult for everyone I think
Personal opinion. I think flatbed is the hardest in bad economy, because flatbed does a lot of non essentials. People need to eat but they don't necessarily need building materials and cars
Alex, you made some money in trucking, but then you busted out due to insurance bullshit. You should be transparent and let newer viewers know that you did go bust in trucking and had to shut down your company.
I did, one of my most popular videos was about me shutting down....

@@TowPiglet I meant on this new channel…if you’re going to keep doing trucking content here.
@@TowPiglet I’m not far behind you unfortunately
That's ridiculous , what do you want Alex to do ? Every time he gets on UA-cam sing a country and western song or a Rapp song about how he closed up shop. That's just crazy of you to say that.
@@stevethomas5209 dude, he’s starting a new podcast and it remains in the trucking industry…so it’s valid for people to be able to fairly evaluate whether or not he’s someone they should be getting information from. Much of Alex’s old content is no longer correct, valid, applicable , etc…
Thats soooo wrong! Don't hate the dems,
😆
