We just got back from an Alaskan cruise last week. The most beautiful scenery I’ve see yet. Seen orca whales, hump back whales, seals, bears and bald eagles. It’s a must see !

I had a trucking business way back too and sold it because it just got harder and harder to make it. Hope your gig works out.

Loved the videos and I really thought your business was going to thrive it’s unfortunate that things where out of your control but I know you’ll be back on top with that positive attitude. Does that AI board cater to cargo van drivers as well?
You have to do what works for you. I enjoyed the road content. And trailer upkeep. I could keep you busy on mine for 2 weeks easy. I should re-wire it from scratch. (Almost) new brakes, heck new axles, paint, upgrade to LED… but it works for my needs.

Brother I’ve watched hours and hours of you from way back and enjoyed it. I’ve left good comments and some that may have sounded a little harsh but they were not meant to sound bad, they were only advice from experience. I will say one comment again that might sound harsh but it’s not, your very smart, full of energy and young enough to go very far financially but you have to take a few breaths and take a little constructive criticism and if you do that things will work. We all think we know it all and it’s very hard to take advice especially when it goes against your own thoughts but sometimes we need to. Good luck

I’ve even seen great advice given to you on line that I wish I had before I started my businesses. Your too smart and work way too hard not to be very successful one day.
Thanks brother, I've learned that extremely well at this point, that's the main reason I didn't go jumping into anything right away. Doing work on the side to pay the bills all while thinking through what I really want to be doing next

I wanna pick your brain about hot shots.I currently own a 2016 Peterbilt 389 that i drive but i have a f350 sitting at my house that i rarely dr and am thinking of buying a trailer and putting it to work

@@joeblackistone8557 By the time you pay somebody to drive your equipment and put fuel in it there usually isn't enough left to make it worth the hassle. Right now especially it's not enough money in it. If it's something you'd be doing to help get your son started then maybe.

I do not. No code tools can get you pretty far now a days.
I always said leasing those trucks would make you go broke. Never lease a truck in hotshot. Every thing needs to be an investment for return.

Good to hear from you! While everybody else is shutting down, I'm getting ready to hit the road in a semi. I put too much into it to give up during this low - trucking will always come back up!
I think it makes sense to do it on your own but not to grow and expand like I did, hats off to you either way

@TowPiglet I am in Non CDL deal. And agree with what your saying. Just as a job for myslef.. it's okay. I run a pre 2000 truck , so ELD exempt, but still have to have good logs.
I will sayblow load pay, broker or shipper cutting down, don't know. Price of fuel, is way up. It's not the same, but as you say if it's yourself. New trucks cost too much, old ones do now too. Now my authority is near 6 months I actually can make money, but got to spend frugally and for myself. That's it. It's a job, and I'm beginning to make a basic living

The trucking game is where you should be. you got all that education over the past few years, that shit is worth a lot. to not use it after all the time and money you put in....
The only problem is even in the best case scenario trucking companies net between 3 - 12 %
So even though I have a lot of knowledge about the industry there doesn’t seem to be a good way to profit operating trucks
@@TowPiglet look into fedex routes, would be a neat next adventure for you. Buy a route with some trucks and employees already established, then UA-cam the shit out of it. no one has done that and I'd bet a ton of people would be interested in it.
Just an idea and I think you would also do well at it. you can also expand and buy more routes, also the route game has all kinds of in's and outs. so you can give people the 411 on how to buy them etc. a few guys on here do it, but they have like 5k subs and 12 likes... However, You already have the base built up.
the main problem I see is diversifying it, they depend on fedex. one customer. but I know a lot of people making a lot of money with them.

I talked to him a few weeks ago, he deleted his channel and has shut down since. It's a tough year to be in trucking and not just for small fleets. Big companies are shutting down too
