Your number 1 spot, Kid Icarus: Uprising. Give that sucker an HD uplift, make the on-rails sections control more like Star Fox, on-foot missions can control like Splatoon, slap it on the Switch (or Switch 2) and I’ll be one happy duck
Rpgs and dungeon crawlers are abundant on the ds/3ds. Here's to hoping that the etrian Odyssey collection does well enough that we get to see more of them escape
As much as I love Etrian Odyssey, I think that series should stay on DS/3DS. Holding a stylus to draw the map is an essential feature that makes the game work and it can't be replicated on a single screen. Trying to port it to other systems feels as wrong as a port of a light gun game where you need to aim with an analog stick. It's just not the same, it's not how it was meant to be played. It's just one of those rare and unique games that can't live outside of its original platform.
@@oonaymanooblabla4812 no, I have not played it on Switch. But if you don't have to draw the map, you're losing the only unique feature that separates EO from a generic dungeon crawler with a pretty mediocre battle system. Drawing the map yourself is the selling feature for these games.

You say "stuck" on the 3DS, but the 3DS is a great system that I would recommend anyone getting in a heartbeat. I might even recommend it over the Switch. Sure the Switch has AAA titles on the go, but aside from 1st parties it is little more than a port machine that owes its success and identity to games that originated on other consoles.
One game that really surprised me was 7th Dragon III - VFD. It never got the love that it deserved, which is sad because there are more games in this series that never made it out of Japan. A unique rpg that needs a second chance! Agreed with all your picks btw, except for Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball bc I had never heard of it so I never got a chance to play it!😭

"Project Cross Zone" was such an amazing game, really would love to see a third game come out on modern consoles. The pixel Art is beautiful, and would be fine with it staying like that. Though part of me thinks a cell shaded effect could go well with newer consoles too. The ridiculous multiverse shenanigans and crazy combat team ups was so perfect.
Radiant Historia was one of my favorite games on the DS! Was really excited when it was announced for the 3DS, now patiently waiting for it to make the jump to the Switch. Also, caught that Star Ocean music in at the Kid Icarus section, brought back some great memories too.
This video makes mention of using the Circle Pad Pro for Kids Icarus uprising. The second circle pad is NOT supported for aiming. The only thing it does is allow for left handed play.
Glad you mentioned Project X Zone. The sequel is Awesome too, and was a pure favourite of mine as a teenager as I would repeatedly the demo version even before I actually owned the game.
I know I'm in the minority, but I actually love the 3D effect on the system. I don't like playing games that don't have 3D on it because I feel like I could just play on another system with much better graphics, but no other system can offer the stereoscopic 3D. I love my 3DS and still play it all the time. It's even better modded, especially now that Nintendo shut down the eShop.
Some well-known UA-camrs also love the 3D effect such as RGT 85 and Metal Jesus Rocks. I think the 3D effect is amazing and it's why I still play it to this day!
The 3DS has a huge collection of exclusives; I suppose it's dual screen nature makes it a trickier thing to port from if developers considered it. I'm curious to see which ones were selected given the sheer amount of them. 0:33 - Unfortunately, the strategy game part is what turned me off from Project x Zone. It'd be nice for it and it's sequel to get ports though as the prices of these games are ludicrous. 4:45 - Pushmo had quite a few entries released on 3DS (and I think a Wii U entry), so I'm quite it all but disappeared with the release of the Switch. Glad to see one of the many Kirby 3DS games get a mention. 13:25 - You always do a wonderful job of explaining things. It's rather amusing that the evolution of a Metroid series combat came through the form of such a simple thing; an uppercut. 15:11 - Wow, Radiant Historia looks awesome, but as an Atlus made game, I'm unsurprised a PAL territory person like me had never heard of it. That being said, Animal Crossing: New Leaf & Happy Home Designer as well as Super Smash Bros. For 3DS are still pretty enjoyable even if you own a Switch and have the successors to these games. There's also Puzzles & Dragons Z + Puzzles & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition. All four games can be purchased physically, but Animal Crossing: New Leaf has two different versions. Both versions are the same game, just one includes an update while the other one is the base game without said update.

wtf there is radiant historia in 3ds need to play that game .what happend to that kid icarus i thought that game is hype before i never play it but in my place i remember people getting this game and there is a long line
What's the problem if games get stuck on a particular system? People keep asking for previous gen games on a new one. Is an endless loop. Keep focusing on new games so each system has his own library.
Why are people so obsessed with the past? Demanding remasters, remakes and sequels. Instead of actually encouraging creativity by releasing new IP's and ideas. Let the old games stay in the past. Dust them off or emulate them when u feel nostalgia to play them again. People complain that today's gaming industry has hit a plateau and they wonder why🤷🏻♂️ Just let the past go and embrace a future that can be creative and fun.

Oh? Did the Tekken 2 opening theme get fired?
Returning next video, just been mixing it up 🙂
FE Awakening is great…but why don’t any of the characters have feet?! For some reason this little flaw bothers me way more than my brain says it should. I read the reason why somewhere many moons ago but I can’t remember why, probably a deadline issue or something like that 🤷🏻♂️

What's the problem if games get stuck on a particular system? People keep asking for previous gen games on a new one. Is an endless loop.
Keep focusing on new games so each system has his own library.
I love the 3DS
Pushmo deserves a re-release..
Would love to see it!
There are ALOT of good games on the 3ds, compared to a psp. But they're mostly all rpgs and platformers.
Suikoden Tierkreis aswell :(

Boy that quoted triggered like half of the fe audience...
Wdym „stuck on 3ds“? It’s one of the best selling systems, everyone who wants one has one. wii u games I get the term but here, idk
HOW ABOUT NO
Nice! 😀🤘🏼
