Imo, It’s too many types of nerfing at once, creating too many complications. Making some books only Master level seems reasonable, tho it means that villagers will become even more disposable than they already are, or that we have to keep even more entities for our computers to process. But that can be workable. But biome-dependent books is adding another unnecessary complication. No one gets gaming-satisfaction from transporting villagers to distant biomes. It’s more likely to induce rage-quitting!
I wonder if it will change villagers that you have already levelled and sell certain books, if not that means some villagers may become rare in the future like a desert villager who sells mending 👀
Do I like these new mechanics? No. 😂 Seems way too complicated and unnecessary. Do they want us to use the enchanting table more or something? I think I need to get my trading hall setup now, hope the update doesn’t nerf the already locked in trades, and then never start a new world 😅
Before, you could set up a villager breeder, build a quick trading hall, and have max enchants in the first few hours. Completely fucks progression. Now it’s at least a little difficult. I think it’s good.

Yeah, same goes for all the other biome exclusive enchants but swamp and jungle villages don't spawn so you have to transport two villagers there, which could be over thousands of blocks away and villagers are already terrible go transport. Sounds like a pain and would discourage villager trading.

That Villager existed since 1.14, aswell as the Jungle villager, It doesn't mean they are Adding New villages.

Yes, but only swamp ones. Keep in mind these changes are only a test and aren't definitive yet
