^^ The reason the villagers most likely won’t restock is because they either can’t: reach their lectures/workstations or they don’t have a claimed bed or they have claimed another lecture that they can’t reach.
Your villagers must have been zombified (then killed by sunlight or a golem) or turned into witches by ligntening. To avoid that, make sure no zombie can hurt them, and put a ligntening rod somewhere near but not too close.
what should I do if my villagers won’t lower their trades even after 3-4 times being zombified ( I haven’t hit or killed them to make them mad at me ) they did with the first zombification but now after getting 1 emerald for 8 string they won’t go any lower
So eventually the the librarian trades are independent from the biom they are in? (I remember it used to be an argument in snapshots) Btw great video :)
The biome thing is a test only available in shnapshots, but depending on how the community feels about it, it may be implemented in an official release someday.
A String dupe and 5 fisherman villagers make a good earliy xp and emerald farm on java. I mainly use it to top up gear with mending and it has given me a very good emerald supply that I don't have to do zombie curing until I feel like up scaling the trading hall, or I can just make more fisherman. 😂
How many timed do i have to cure a villager to get to 1 emerald sales? i have already cure 3 times one but doesn't go lower than 26 emeralds, i'm doing something wrong?
Nope. Once you trade with a Villager, their profession and trades are locked in. So to get a Villager with a different job or different trades, you'll have to just get a new villager. I'm pretty sure that the same thing goes for if you cure a Zombie Villager that spawned with a profession already.
Does anyone know exactly how their prices fluctuate? When i keep buying an item after curing them, they raise their prices after awhile. Do the prices go back down over time? Curing them again doesnt work.
The armourer Sells Coal. It’s a good trade but the only problem is that on Bedrock the probability of the armourer selling Coal for an emerald is 100% but on Java it’s 40%, why isn’t the probability higher or the same as Bedrock.

You don't... Make a new job block, and level up a new villager... Alternatively, use the armor in a grindstone, get librarian villagers selling enchanted books of the kind you want, then add the books onto the armor in an anvil...
Yep, but if the prices reach the bare minimum (like some trades cost 1 emerald after you cure them) those trades won't change. Also they removed discount stacking for just zombie curing I think, because people were curing the villager multiple times and getting crazy discounts
Basically they "inspect" the bookshelves every now and then instead of just wandering, helps them stay focused leading to them restocking faster. Just what i observed during testing
i cured a zombie villager yesterday and i was looking for mending book, i couldnt get it so i logged off and when i logged back on today he was selling me for normal prices not for 1 emerald.

what should I do if my villagers won’t lower their trades even after 3-4 times being zombified ( I haven’t hit or killed them to make them mad at me ) they did with the first zombification but now after getting 1 emerald for 8 string they won’t go any lower
i’ve seen vids of people with 1-1 trades but i don’t understand how
They patched it. Now the villager only gives discounts once the discounts don't stack with each time u cure them anymore
You need 1 workstation for each villager or they can use all the same?
One for each. They connect to one
I have named my nitwit Channing Tatum and he is goated
So eventually the the librarian trades are independent from the biom they are in? (I remember it used to be an argument in snapshots)
Btw great video :)
The biome thing is a test only available in shnapshots, but depending on how the community feels about it, it may be implemented in an official release someday.
bro is teaching us like he is our maths teacher
"Bookshelves help librarians work better"
What do you mean by this? Does it give better enchants?
A String dupe and 5 fisherman villagers make a good earliy xp and emerald farm on java. I mainly use it to top up gear with mending and it has given me a very good emerald supply that I don't have to do zombie curing until I feel like up scaling the trading hall, or I can just make more fisherman. 😂
How many timed do i have to cure a villager to get to 1 emerald sales? i have already cure 3 times one but doesn't go lower than 26 emeralds, i'm doing something wrong?
There was an update not long ago that made it so you can only get the benefits from zombie faction once
Yea they patched that
My villager dint change job, cause me already make trade with him,can i turn him to another job?
Same
Nope. Once you trade with a Villager, their profession and trades are locked in. So to get a Villager with a different job or different trades, you'll have to just get a new villager. I'm pretty sure that the same thing goes for if you cure a Zombie Villager that spawned with a profession already.
did they put it in the game where you have to get into different biomes for your trades?
Nah thats still an experimental feature, not actually in the game yet
@@TheAetherGamer thank you, thats what I needed to hear, I hate that and would be a nogo for me, villagers are already annoying enough
Does anyone know exactly how their prices fluctuate? When i keep buying an item after curing them, they raise their prices after awhile. Do the prices go back down over time? Curing them again doesnt work.
Are the zombification cures villager discounts forever?
Like permanent?
Yeah as long as you don't attack them
@@TheAetherGamer holyy that's broken
I need to ask: how long will last cheap trades from de-zombified villager? Like forever? Please someone answer i need to know that
Yeah they last forever, unless you make them mad ig
The armourer Sells Coal. It’s a good trade but the only problem is that on Bedrock the probability of the armourer selling Coal for an emerald is 100% but on Java it’s 40%, why isn’t the probability higher or the same as Bedrock.
Great video
Thank you
@@TheAetherGamerhey I have a question, the villagers I’m breeding are getting random jobs and I can’t figure out to to change their jobs, the breeder farm is like 50 blocks away from the trading hall, I’ve been breaking all types of work blocks but still nothing
Did u trade with any of the villagers already?
can someone help me
i have a master armourer but he gives very bad enchanted armour.
how can i reset his trades so he gives better enchanted armour?
U can't reset trades if you've traded with them already, trading with them locks their trades in
You don't...
Make a new job block, and level up a new villager...
Alternatively, use the armor in a grindstone, get librarian villagers selling enchanted books of the kind you want, then add the books onto the armor in an anvil...
I remember back in the day you used to keep Zombify the villager until you get the discord 1 on everything did they change that
Can you get mending in Every biome ?
Yeah
@@r.jguerra5526 for real I thought they changed it to only swamp biome
What happens if you both cure them and save them from raids? Do the discounts stack?
Yep, but if the prices reach the bare minimum (like some trades cost 1 emerald after you cure them) those trades won't change. Also they removed discount stacking for just zombie curing I think, because people were curing the villager multiple times and getting crazy discounts
@@TheAetherGamerAs crazy as 1 emerald for 1 diamond legging😂
Just tell me how do I get mending from villagers
Is it necessary to be swamp villager to get mending ??
No thats only in the villager rebalance experiment, isn't actually an official feature yet so you can get mending from any librarian still
@@TheAetherGamer ok ok
how can bookshelves can help work better? pls tell me
Basically they "inspect" the bookshelves every now and then instead of just wandering, helps them stay focused leading to them restocking faster. Just what i observed during testing
i cured a zombie villager yesterday and i was looking for mending book, i couldnt get it so i logged off and when i logged back on today he was selling me for normal prices not for 1 emerald.
I found this video so useful
I'm glad! 👍👍
How many times shall i cure my villager to get the maximum 1 emerald trade?
I went to a village and took 2 villagers from there it's been 3 days and i was wondering why they aren't working
The two villagers i got both are nitwits
A tip is to make an string duper->infinite emeralds
Doesn't the cleric sell bottles of enchanting at master level?
Yeah but I thought the other ones were more useful cuz bottle of enchanting for xp is really slow
@@TheAetherGamer I didn't know that. Noted.
They can be handy in an enchantment setup when you are just a few points short of what you need. More convenient than going around to collect more.
Can I do the zombie villager thing with a librarian I used already to get mending
Yes, any villager you want, also preferably one you've traded with :)
Does all this apply to bedrock?
Yes
Why am i paying 27 emeralds for a enchanted book
With the librarian its not rondom for me, I only get smite, bane of arthropods and punch. Pls someone help me ( i am playing on ps5)
Cured Zombie Villagers give discounts!!! That's a great advantage!!!
Yep!
Is the same in console?
Yes
cleric sell bottle of enchantment which is useful
If Librarian has bookshelfs he works faster or gives u better odds? Dam i just learned smth new
Is it for bedrock or java??
i zombified all my librarians and they were discounted but now they back up still lower than their original price but higher than how they were when i liberated them anyone know why?
